That trip to Precision was 3,400 (mostly labor costs) but I was hopeful the issue had been fixed, despite being confused as to how it could possibly be ready so quickly. 5 days later, the same coolant light came back on. The man that answers and works the front desk is gifted when it comes to talking in circles. He basically said "well, it's a car. Who knows why the light is back on. Bring it back." So I did. This trip was $300 for them to "fix" whatever they missed 5 days before. I was supposed to feel grateful that they didn't charge me for diagnostics on this second visit. One month later, the same light is back on. Major leak still in my coolant system. Car is undrivable. I had my car towed to bmw this morning. I should have just done that in the first place. This business isn't what it used to be and they clearly no longer have a mechanic that is familiar with bmws.
