This place seems so disjointed. First and foremost, why is this so far from the actual BJ's store? It's not even in the same plaza, you have to leave that plaza and come over to this plaza. Then there is the placement in this plaza that isn't very workable.
You can tell that this used to be an Exxon or something along that line. They just took it over, removed the signage, and slapped BJ's onto it. But it is right off the road on a small lot that isn't all that built out. Imagine, if you will, any gas station tied to a discount warehouse, it is well used. With the lot being small it is always congested and cause traffic to back up to the main road. The pumps are two deep and you really are just in a waiting game.
For the line at each pump to move forward, the vehicle at the front has to complete their fueling in order for everyone to move forward. Pumping fuel isn't really a fast task, you are at the mercy of the pump.
While waiting in the line I chose, I noticed more and more vehicles flow into the lot. Backing up the flow, until one of the pumps releases the vehicles.
My turn finally. Have your card or app ready so you can scan your membership ID. Once scanned you are just sitting there at the mercy of the pump. Fuel dispensed and I was finally ready to head out. Being the front vehicle, the one behind me had to wait until I was finished.
Exiting here, you all have to go one way to exit. Which leads you to the back side of this plaza. Flow out of here is just as hard as coming in here. You have to wait for the flow of vehicles coming into the plaza in order to exit the fuel area. If you do come here, just be careful. read more
