BJ's is awesome! She is reasonably priced, quick, but also completes the job thoroughly! My go to place when I'm home!

Bj is awesome. Does a great job and always so pleasant! I recommend! Bj I've been going to see her for years. Unfortunately I've moved to Western Ma and don't get there.. but comparably she does a great job! read more

She messed up one of my eyebrows and thought they looked the same. She did good on the first eye then when she came to the second she took to much off the bottom. read more

I've been threading for years and I've been to lots of different places. This one is cheap ($8) and no wait time. But they pull SO SLOWLY and it's therefore the absolute most painful threading I've ever had. Maybe I got someone new, since she also broke probably 10 threads (usually they break none, maybe one). They were pleasant, but also didn't ask to see if it was right or not and I had to stand up to look in the mirror myself and ask her to come back and fix several areas. Eyebrows are a pretty exacting thing.. you're taking your chances a little here. Also, FYI - CASH ONLY read more

I've been going to this establishment for almost 10 years. BJ does a great job threading my brows each time. She respects your time, I'm in and out within minutes. read more

Oh boy.... They do a good job on eyebrows. They are consistent and understand when you say "just clean 'em up please". $8 (cash only) and I've always been in and out in under 10 minutes. But...why are there discarded cherry pits on the floor next to the chair I'm about to sit in? read more

Perfect for everything I need! Thank you for always being professional and helping my brows look amazing! I've been here 10+ times and she never fails read more

The only eyebrow threading place I go to. Love the service. Eyebrows always on point and feel brand new.

Went in during Covid to get my brows done. Sign on door said "Masks required." Makes sense. Walked in and saw the threader unmasked and breathing over a client's face while doing her brows. I walked right out. The level of willful disregard towards health and safety here is abhorrent. Will never step foot in here again. read more

Good service, good prices. The other reviews about people getting their brows done too thin scared me. However, mine turned out just fine. Place is not fancy, just a room with a ton of string on the floor. Eyebrows are $8 and lip is $5. Will be back next time I'm at Whole Foods. read more

This place is okay it's convenient for me because it's close by and prices are reasonable they do a good clean up but the shape is not on point. read more

BJ Eyebrow Threading - Threading Services Near Me - Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

if you are looking to get your eyebrows done, DO NOT go here. I use to go here all the time, but the woman who is the owner is very disrespectful. The entire time she was complaining about how thick my eyebrows were and how exhausted her arms were getting while she was doing them. On top of that, AFTER I had gotten my eyebrows done she told me she was going to charge extra because of the thickness of my eyebrows. Now if she had told me beforehand I would have absolutely no problem with it, but its just dirty to do it after (mind you this was when the prices were fixed). She then got mad at me for pointing out the fixed price and was very rude to me after. Never went back after that day. I don't trust ANYONE with my eyebrows, I'm the pickiest person ever but I really just don't have the time to be driving way into boston every month. I decided tor try this place because of the great reviews and awesome hours. As soon as I walk in I was taken immediately, and it wasn't as painful as i'm used to! Eyebrows and lip only 13$ amazing! Can't wait to return!!! read more

Super affordable and excellent eyebrow threading. I've been here several times now and have been very happy with them.

Very good service! I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time here, and BJ did a very nice job shaping them exactly how I wanted. She was especially accommodating, considering that I was twitching in pain due to my inexperience with the process. The only reason why it is not five stars is that most of the time she doesn't ask you what you want. You should specify anything in particular, if necessary, because she just goes for it. Usually, this is fine because she can discern what would be the best shape for your face! read more

The owner of the place who also works there is one of rudest people I have ever met. She told me eyebrows were "too thick" and kept grunting while she was doing them. She looked super annoyed throughout the entire process and I couldn't help but feel super uncomfortable. Once I was done, I thought i was going to be charged 8 dollars but ended up paying a whopping 10 because they changed prices and the sign says "8 and up". You pay more if they shape your brows which I did not even ask for.. A rip off, no concept of customer priority here. I have come here a few times and whenever I get my brows done by anyone else, I don't have a problem. Just with the lady herself. Do NOT recommend. read more

Honestly repulsed at my face after my visit to BJs eyebrow threading. If you want to get your eyebrows tinted DO NOT GO HERE. First of all I asked the lady for a dirty blonde color and ended up with nearly BLACK eyebrows. Tbh I'm not happy. Not happy at all. Not to mention the shape looks like a drag queens (not in a good way). read more

I won't be back. I was visiting in the area and I needed my eyebrows done so I stopped in. The attendant was friendly. I did not realize til she started that she does it only with the hands not with her teeth. I have always found this way to be more painful so I don't usually choose this way. I found her technique to be way to slow so it was very painful. She must have caused me to bleed as she kept pressing her fingers down on my brow. When she was finished she only showed me the results in the large mirror so I couldn't see that it was not a very good job. There was a large space and a very large stray hair. I also found scabs on my brow later that day It was not a good style either more like a clean up. In addition I was looking at some beautiful Indian bracelets and I asked the price and she said $18. When I got home later I looked at the bracelets and found a tag that said $3.95! It is a day later and my right brow is still very sore and has scabs. read more

The owner is very nice. However I feel like the place is overpriced for threading. She charges $5 for upper lip threading while the salons nearby do it for $3. Honestly when I started going there initially she charged me $3 and I would tip $1 but the $5 has been a huge turn off and I try to go to other places instead. It sucks cuz her place is the closest to where I live.... read more

My cousin recommended BJ to me for eyebrow threading. She does a phenomenal job! I have moved out of the area and will only go to BJ! Her prices are extremely reasonable at only $6.99 for eyebrows and only five dollars for upper lip. If you are in the Shrewsberry area and are looking for someone to thread your eyebrows I highly recommend BJ. I believe she also does body waxing services as well. read more

I have been going here for years and have never had any problems. I love the way she does my eyebrows!! I have gone to other places where they leave scabbing but with her it doesn't happen. Highly recommend!! read more

Sweet, kind, clean, cheap, quick, professional, thorough and PERFECT brows... What else could you want ? Won't go anywhere else...

BJ is an expert in knowing how to shape eyebrows! She's the only one I trust with my brows. I always come out feeling like a new woman.

I have been going to BJ for almost two years now and wouldn't want to go any where else to do my eyebrows. She does a great job and her price is very fair compared to other places around. She's also very quick! Keep up the good work BJ!!! read more

This businesses is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! As a licensed esthetician who works in skin care everyday this place is beyond unsanitary. I called back after leaving to explain my concerns with her shop and she told me not to come back(trust I didn't plan on it). She doesn't sanitize any implements & uses them again on her costumers. After handling money she didn't sanitize her hands when working on me, she used the same lotion on me without using a disposable implement to apply and dipping her fingerings in the same bottle prior to my service. Used the lotion before asking my permission and I'm very picky about what's on my face for lotions due to allergies. When I asked the price after my service(this being my first time) she told me $10 when I checked her website said $8. Besides it being extremely unsanitary and dangerous she did a terrible job with my eye brows and completely did not do one side. STAY CLEAR this place is not Joke they do not take proper steps to insure client safety and sanitation. read more

I don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about. I do agree that this lady's technique is a little more painful but it's not terribly worse than most other places. Threading is always painful! But she didn't leave any scabs or cause them to bleed. And I have very sensitive skin that others have previously caused to bleed while threading. But BJs didn't! After threading she massaged my eyebrows really well too! However she shaped my eyebrows beautifully well. They look very pretty. And price is very reasonable too at 6.75$. I will definitely be back! read more

Terrible service. I used to be a regular there and she knew me. When I arrived she asked me what I wanted and I said please make my brows a bit thinner. She sighed and told me that I had "too much hair" and that I was "hairy" in front of other customers making me uncomfortable, especially being 19. (She used to comment this almost every visit) She threads them so slowly and painfully, I always bleed every visit with scabs, does not wash her hands after previous customer, does not wash her hands before applying lotion, always comments on my eyebrows being too thick. She was so rude I felt extremely sad afterwards. She then told me to pay $10 (even though the price is $8) because my brows were too much to handle??? Are you serious, at least tell me beforehand, extremely unprofessional. I would've gone elsewhere if my brows were "too much" for a threading salon? What did she expect. She was so, so rude. I am never ever going back (I've been going for 4 years) after this incident. She doesn't know how to treat people, so rude. read more

Finally! A place I can rely on to give me eyebrows that fit the shape of my face! I saw this place open up a while ago and I had been meaning to try it out - I wasn't disappointed when I went in on a quiet Sunday afternoon and came out 10 minutes later mustache free (haha!) and shapelier eyebrows! Try BJ's for yourself! read more

I absolutely LOVE BJ. Prior to finding her a few years ago, I only trusted one person so trust my eyebrows, BJ has since replaced her. I refer all of my friends and family to Bj. She listens to what you want, remembers names and stories. She is the best! Go check her out, you wont regret your decision! read more

they thin my eyebrows too much and don't clean their hands before touching my face. i usually break out around my eyebrows after having it done here. i'm used to having my brows cleaned before being threaded but they don't do that here. the price is $8 which is pretty cheap. read more

Excellent threading for a great price. Parking was a little tricky at first but once I walked in I sat down and got a monthly threading. I will continue coming here as long as I live in the Worcester area. read more
