We also grabbed an order of onion rings, it was a massive portion, perfectly crispy! It was honestly shocking to find this level of quality so far away from the city. Locals are fun, but don't sit at the table in front of the fire place without checking with the staff. A couple of locals sort of "nest" there and protect it like mother bears. If the local political families close the Vermilion Club, like they did the Bay View, the next stop will be Virginia or Ely for similar food and drink. Stop by, have a beer or burger or both. Show the local ruling political families that just because you are old, doesn't mean you gave up like them.
