They also make it so easy and enjoyable to be able to see all the products you can choose, to make your dreams come true. They definitely work within your budget and do everything possible to make it work for you, the home owner. They are considered to your needs. It's a wonderful concept of having everything there to choose from, then running around to other places to pick out things, which can become confusing and stressful when trying to narrow things down with, what goes with what! Alex is very thoughtful in her decision making, not pushy, but sensitive to her clients thought process. The company also works with highly qualified licensed contractors. Kevin, the company's owner, runs a top notch remodeling business. As you can see, we highly recommend Hood!!

Alison, Craig, Mark & Ed over at Almar couldn't have been better for our construction project. We…read moreturned an elevated deck into a glassed-in three season porch, and not only did Almar bid the project reasonably (based on five estimates) they completed it on time, with good communication and great attention to detail. Craig was excellent during the project kickoff phase as well, when my wife and I went back and forth on design details and even had to put the project on the back burner for a few months. He patiently input our ideas into his design software so we could see how the room would look, and explained the myriad tradeoffs between time, money and design in a way that made perfect sense and made it easy to make the right decisions for our family and budget. Once the project started, Mark and Ed kept us informed in person and via email, and were very friendly, personable and helpful onsite presences. Ed especially went the extra mile, doing jobsite cleanup at the end of the day -- something that wasn't strictly required -- as well as some small safety touches I would never have thought of to make sure that our curious 5-year old didn't have any chance of hurting himself if he "accidentally" wandered into the area. The rest of the Almar crew was similarly good, and even the electrical, roofing, & insulation subcontractors were top notch. I would use Almar again in an instant, and I have a coworker also using Almar for a project having a similarly good experience. Let them bid your project; you won't be disappointed.

There have been too many articles about Yelp creating negative reviews to extort honest business owners. Don't know if its true? Do know folks are saying it. What I do know is Dustin of Blinn's Fence is a craftsman. My experience with his work is "5 Star Perfection!!!!!" His estimate was higher than the other two contractors I contacted. After being put off repeatedly by the other two contractors. I called Dustin. Dustin actually showed up and did an excellent job with a difficult fence repair during the holiday season. Considering the equipment he used, I fully understand his pricing being higher. Dustin left virtually no signs of his repair. The other contractors had said they would have to dig up a portion of the pavers to do the repair. Dustin with his experience, expertise and specialized equipment did not. I highly recommend Blinn's Fence for any fence work required. I will be a repeat customer.

Once that was said it explained why so many mistakes and lack of customer service. They are spread to thin but it keeps their profit margins large.
