I found Bill through the USAA Movers Advantage Program because I was moving from San Francisco to Boston. Bill set 3 complete days aside and drove my wife and me all over the greater Boston area looking at condominiums. We looked at around 30 places. He set up each and every visit for us. We never had to do a thing, which was good, because as first time home buyers, my wife and I were without a clue. Bill was very responsive with every question we asked, and trust me, we had plenty. Even after we signed a purchase and sale agreement Bill bent over backwards helping us with the condo. We were still out of the city and there's no way we could have done all of this without Bill. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than I recommend Bill Dellea.

Our agent had to repeatedly step up to chase down responses from the sellers' HOA and condo when emails to CB office got no results. Worse, the CB agent who showed up at the walk through on the day we closed had only one set of keys to hand over and a building entrance card that did not work. Post closing, the building's super told us the sellers had multiple sets of keys and entry fobs. So why couldn't the CB agent have them in his possession to hand over at closing? Lack of focus and follow through. I would not recommend this office for sellers or buyers.

After about a year and then some hunting in this miserable housing market, my wife and I were about…read moreready to give up and just keep renting for eternity. We had tried working with several buyers' agents who, after a pleasant initial consultation, signed us up for their automatic MLS emails and called it a day, or sellers agents who maybe were just doing their job when they said "we have, like, 25 interested buyers so bid high" or "maybe if you waived the home inspection clause you'd be more competitive!" No thanks. Our mortgage folks suggested that we get in touch with John Yemma of The Yemma Group. I'm writing this from the couch in our new house we bought thanks to John and his colleague Nate, so that should tell you how the rest of this review will go. From the outset, John and Nate were professional, thorough, and, best of all, honest. At no point did they force our hand - they'd spend the day running from East Boston to Neponset and back with us and never once tried to jam through a sale. They both value relationships - which paid huge dividends when it came time to put in an offer. Case in point, I firmly believe the house we ended up buying would not actually be ours today had John and Nate not formed a strong working relationship with the sellers agent...who turned out to have been the same agent on a house we lost out on only a few months prior. And even when we were on the losing end of a a competitive bid situation, The Yemma Group folks always got to the bottom of what would've made a deal go through, so we understood how to play our cards the next time around. We would especially point out John and Nate's collective real estate prowess. At each open house or follow up appointment, John and Nate would take the time to go through each home in detail - pointing out flaws and areas of concern with an inspector's eye. So, in sum, if you are struggling to find the right home for you and your family - reach in The Yemma Group's direction. They'll cut through the noise and find you somewhere epic.

I found Nate at The Yemma Group just through online research. I was pleasantly surprised by Nate's responsiveness via email as I had emailed a few real estate firms with no individual response. After my first visit to the office I knew I wanted to work with Nate! Nate walked me through every detailed step of the buying process before we even went to our fist open house. We ended up finding a condo quicker than expected and we had to get all our ducks in a row in less than 24 hours to get the offer in on time. Nate got the offer in with time to spare! With Nate's excellent communication and real estate skills I would never use another agent in Boston! Nate and the Yemma Group also connected me with a great real estate attorney and mortgage company, making the the entire buying process a piece of cake! I could not be happier with my new condo and the great service Nate and the Yemma Group provided me with. They will be my first and only call the next time I purchase a property!

In this market, I knew I needed to work with some one who was highly experienced and deeply embedded in the community I wanted to live in. I choose to work with Ann Harrington at Lighthouse Realty and am so glad I did! From the first to the most recent contact, (I won't say last, because I now count Ann as a friend), I felt supported, encouraged and guided. with 30+ years in Real Estate, Ann knows her stuff and as a community member she provides a unique perspective as both a Realtor and a neighbor. She provided insight and guidance, while helping me develop my own perspective. We looked at the market, my personal situation and then different neighborhoods before looking at specific properties. She suggested homes and also let me pick (because all new home buyers will constantly be on the apps looking) ones to visit. When visiting properties, she let me look and evaluate first, then asked me what I thought. She guided me without telling me what I did or didn't want. She pointed out features and also opportunities for change or improvement. Without fail, any open house I attended alone the listing agent knew Ann and spoke well of her. When we found my home, she was on top of every detail and provided me with so much information and perspective. She is extremely thorough and detailed in her work. She always answered my calls, texts or emails promptly. When we hit a potential snag with the lender, she jumped right in and went above and beyond what she had to do- advocating for me and helping to quickly resolve the issue. My home buying process was really smooth because of Ann and I can't thank her or recommend her enough. She covers all of Massachusetts, but is a specialist in the very competitive South Shore Market.

John was fantastic at helping me get all my documents organized for a mortgage application, remained completely charming even when I changed my mind about the lock-in details after I'd signed off on them, and in the end definitely went beyond the call of duty in helping me overcome a few glitches in the mortgage process. All in all, a very good experience. I'd recommend Capital Residential Group to anyone. Update: I went back a few years later for a refinance and - admittedly due to my own rushing and not taking time to do my homework - trusted John to handle it.
