I really wanted to like this place because it was my second visit, but the experience was disappointing. I ordered the butter chicken, which cost almost $19, and it came with only four bite‑sized pieces of chicken. That's nowhere near worth the price. My kids and I ended up eating mostly the sauce with naan because there just wasn't enough actual food. We brought it up to the waitress, and the only thing offered was a $2 discount -- which honestly didn't make a difference considering how small the portion was. I came here because there was so many positive reviews but I left with a 1 star experience. I'm giving it a 2 because the Fish dish was good. I came in and really was the only customer. The greeter barely said hello before sitting us. That should have been a red flag. We ordered 2 Lassi drinks. 1 mango and one strawberry. They were the most water down Lassi drinks, I've ever had at any Indian restaurant. It was flavor less and we honestly should have sent it back. Our food wasn't much better. It lacked flavor and spices. Two things not common in Indian dishes. The only item that was good was a fried fish dish. This is the only reason why I'm giving them 2. The Naan was good as well. Bites of India is my go-to restaurant when craving Indian food. Every time I've gone there, they are quick to take my order and usually take about 20 minutes to bring it back out. I usually take my order to-go and actually can't say much about their ambiance since I'm in & out. Today was actually my first time ordering their lunch special, and I am happy to share I was not disappointed. It was delicious & filling! Moving forward, I may come back for their lunch special. We ordered butter chicken,aloo palak and naan bread over the phone which is a small Order. Went to pick the order after 40 minutes with family and still wasn't ready. The owner insisted it will be ready 5-10 minutes, and informed me to wait in the car as he'll bring the order out. After waiting for 10 minutes I went back inside and asked if it was ready. He told me 10 minutes more which turned to longer wait time. I couldn't wait so thought it's best to get a refund due to my kids in the car and I was pressed for time to go to an event. When I asked for a refund he refused and rushed back inside the kitchen and never came out until the order was ready. Very unprofessional. We found Bites of India and we order for pick up. Shrimp Tandoori- if you like spicy food this dish would do it, I think for me it was too spicy I could not finish it- maybe I will ask next time if the spicy level can be adjusted, we also order Samosa, (I didn't try this personally since I am gluten free), Butter Chicken (was really good and it had a lot of sauce which we appreciated) Mango Lassi- my daughter order this and OMG this was so delicious and creamy. We also got a mix of Naan bread (once again I did not try this but my daughter and fiancé did) Cheese & garlic naan, Garlic Naan Bread, and Plain Naan Bread. We also order some Plain Jeera Rice (this is one of my favorite items). Our bill came out to about $62. When picking up the food, the restaurant looked pretty clean; not many people dinning in but a lot more people were arriving for pick ups. I think we might try dinning in next time and try new items. Worst Indian food I've had in a while. I got garlic naan and chicken tikka masala. I thought it couldn't be done wrong but it was. The naan had almost regular bread taste with some yellow coloring that didn't seem to taste anything like butter. I was warmly greeted by several people the second I entered the establishment and seated immediately. The ambiance was modern, clean and very nicely done. Had ordered chana bhatura, chana was ok in taste with oil and color floating. Bhatura was Okish with thick center. Veg biryani was not even like a pulao, tasted as if tomato sauce had been added. The garlic made its presence known but not overwhelming where your date may leave you in the friend zone. This naan can easily convince someone to cheat on their low carb diet. The chicken tikka masala had just the right amount of spice, it was creamy and smooth. The chicken serve is good quality meat and perfectly cooked. While this dish may be known as the national dish of the United Kingdom, it takes a real Indian chef to master it. And this establishment has done it.
