-ONE PARAGRPAH REVIEW!!-…read more Ok, a bar scene is all about its atmosphere. And this place has it in spades. I came on a July night. The "garage" is practically an outdoor bar, and the inside is just as warm, fun, inviting. Dan was our bartender. He's the man, and that's not just cause it rhymes. He's the man, and with more bartenders like him this place is the place I want to be when I'm looking to have a good time. Oh, and the tuna tacos was to die for. I know it cause I'm dead!!!!

We will probably seated by the hostess and provided menus. I asked if they had any brunch specials in the waitress let me know that there were some issues with the kitchen and that they wouldn't be serving brunch, only lunch. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. We are never around this area and I finally got to try this place and unfortunately, I opted to walk out. It was cute inside and smelled good. The drink list looked decent. Read it based on my interaction with the hostess, the waitress and how she handled the situation. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to try anything.

I had a small Caesar Salad and the Chicken Parmigiana, my wife had Fish & Chips. The "small" Caesar was too much for one person, we split it. It was fresh with an acceptable dressing, but lacked any hint of anchovy flavor. Hint, use some anchovy paste in the dressing. The Chicken Parmigiana was slightly overcooked and was lacking in taste. The pasta was cooked properly and had a somewhat better than average sauce. The fish was sorely lacking in seasoning. The fries were sub par. Overall, this place is slightly better than average, but not quite good enough to get 4*s.

Honestly my only issue here was the amount of help there on their phones and sipping on their water bottles. It was a Saturday and I was there during a lull, but I did roll my eyes once or twice. That said, the location is awesome in downtown New Bedford, right by the whaling museum and amazing NHS site. I really did enjoy the flight (even without the clever names or its cool shape), and that cod fish dish was very tasty--nice unique meal for a brewery, in fact. Would I go back? Absolutely.

Great beer selection on tap from ipas to ciders to whatever mixed drink you are looking for. We were taken care of right away by the bartender and later on another. The mozz sticks were great, nice cheese pull, the Reuben was the clear winner, not too salty at all, good flavor. The brisket was a little dry for the cheesesteak, and the burger was undercooked (asked for medium well got more of a medium rare), the bun also didn't hold up that great, but the fries were excellent good salt levels crisp and crunch. Would definitely come back for a Bev and a bite!
