I was looking to buy some sheets of stained glass at Bissett when I realized they were not the same thickness as the other glass I was using for my mosaic I was working on. When I mentioned this to the sales woman at Bissett, she said it's up to the artist to decide what they want. I said I would take them home and see how they looked. At that point, if the sales woman had told me there were no returns allowed, I never would have purchased it. I would have brought my mosaic in to the store and checked it, due to the costs involved.
After getting it home, I decided it didn't look right with 2 different heights of glass so went back a few days later to return them. The price tags were still on the glass and I had not cut into any of the sheets of glass. The sales person said they do not take any returns, just like a fabric store. I said this glass was not cut for me, as is fabric and the price tags were still on and the glass was in its original condition. I mentioned that nowhere on the receipt did it say final sale or no returns. Again, she said they do not take returns. I have spent a lot of money in this store, including buying a glass grinder, extra bits, tools, glass, etc and needless to say I was very disappointed by their lack of customer service. Never was I told there were no returns.
BUYER BEWARE! They are not upfront with NO RETURNS!!
I will definitely be buying from Winter Art Glass Studio. I have had great experiences taking lessons and buying glass from this studio. read more
