Biskit was our favorite place to grab breakfast when we were in Parnell. The coffee was always good, served by a friendly staff. I got the Ugly Salmom Bagel that was incredibly delicious. The smoked salmon was great atop a crispy sesame seed bagel with crispy capers, feta, black olives, red onion and dill. The S.O. raved about his scrambled eggs on toast, which for such a simple dish, they did an outstanding job. The weather was beautiful with the open windows and a must for anyone staying in the little neighborhood. read more

Super cute coffee shop a little off the main city path! The server was super friendly when we entered and helped us with our order right away. The pastries looked delicious but we didn't want to ruin our appetites for dinner so we just had lattes. My chai latte was one of the best chai lattes I had on my trip, and it was a good sized portion. As small was plenty. It was also sweetened but not too much! The street the cafe is located on is really nice to walk around in. There are cute boutique shops and fancy restaurants that are just fun to browse by. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Even though it was the middle of the day on a weekday, I'm sure you will never have trouble finding a nice table to enjoy your coffee at. I would definitely stop at this coffee shop again! read more

The environment, location, interior, and people are amazing and friendly. The food however is served in small portions and very expensive although some of it was tasty. We came here with 4 people and it was around $30 per person for lunch. Wait is Biskit a coffee and tea shop? that's kind of expensive for a cafe... it's like restaurant price. The portions were ridiculously small... The two boys were starving after one ordered a market fish and the other ordered the squid. The girls on the other hand were content with a chicken salad and i was smart in ordering the burger. We got a side of chicken wings (which only came with 3... so sad....) and a doughnut to share (tasted pretty normal). The market fish was the smallest dish but at a hefty price... The squid was a tad on the spicier side (which we like but i think others were dying haha) and was accompanied by a "garden salad" which was so small it was eaten in a bite haha. The chicken salad was nice but a tad oily. Burger was probably the nicest and most filling meal on the table and the beer battered fries were delish! If ever in a dilemma, always pick the burger! For drinks we had 2 long blacks, an asahi (yes they serve alcohol for lunch! yay!) and a Iced lemon tea. Can't say much for the others but im assuming my iced tea was made and not from a bottle because it was overly sweet. still nice but too sweet for my liking.. Overall, the small portion and high price ain't floating my boat... must find somewhere else to battle my hunger read more

This restaurant is located on the Main Street of downtown Parnell. Great atmosphere, great service and nice decor. Has a great cross breeze so you don't get to warm from the kitchen since it's not a huge place very cozy. We sat down and immediately were given menus and water. They do have display cabinet of sandwiches and such plus some muffins. We ordered the hamburger and chips looked amazing and great size, also got edamame that were fab, also got a panini of egg, avocado and tomato -Delish and hot, the kids both got chicken wings you only get three. The wings look like they were on steroids. Nice and big. And it satisfied the kids appetites. Also had a banana milkshake which was great and a cappuccino. Service was great came back multiple times to ask for anything needed. The prices seemed average for the four of us was $65 total. read more

The berry smoothie was one of the nicest I've had lately and the chocolate & almond croissant probably best shared, it's huge. The decor is airy and it is beautiful outside today so they had the sliding windows open which made the atmosphere even more comfortable. I ordered the bagel with smoke salmon. It was beautifully presented but the bagel was chewy and didn't seem fully cooked which ruined the dish. My iced americano was good and gave me the needed caffeine kick after my long flight. I was feeling a little bit worse for wear after a rather large night out but decided to try a new place for breakfast in Parnell. I wandered up and down the main strip and settled on Biskit since the decor was bright, light and open. I was really pleased there was table service. I was feeling a little bit homesick, so I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. There must have been less than 8 min from order to delivery - awesome. It said that is came with salsa but it really was just chopped up onion and tomato - but it wasn't terrible, just not salsa. It also wasn't a burrito - more like a really big taco ... which was a bit odd. I also didn't really see the need for lettuce and carrot on the side. I wasn't hugely disappointed but not overly impressed. I loved the decor and the service, might need to go for the big brekky next time.
