I called and scheduled an appointment for the owner - Sarah - to come out to my house and see the spaces I needed light fixtures for and offer suggestions. The service was $100 but that is a credit towards your purchase and then you get 10% off your order as a design client. What a deal! We ended up getting new island pendants, dining room chandelier, and living room chandelier. I love them all! I loved Sarah (so nice and friendly and worked around my taste) but most of all I love how painless the whole process was. My husband and I cannot make a decision for the life of us but Sarah has collected such a great set of fixtures at her store that the decisions were easy and now both of us are happy with our selections. She also offered to come back with some of the ones we liked so that we could see them in the space which was so helpful for indecisive people like us! Lastly, they delivered them to our house when they came in. The service was phenomenal! Beyond the light service - it is just a delight to stop in and look around the store because there are so many fun things to look at. Also, it is just amazing at Christmas time. I bought this adorable santa shaped dish towel last year that is now my favorite Christmas decoration.

I had always seen the one on University which recently moved to Gaylord (if I'm not mistaken); this Hampden location appears to be the newest addition. Selection was great and wide range. Each section/table has a theme behind it (like wine and cheese for instance; there was even a section for Taylor Swift!!) I have to admit; some items are a bit pricey (I saw a cheese knife that was so good-looking but it was almost $40!! Ouch ) I took the time to look around though because I wanted to find something nice to buy. What I ended up buying was a book about cheese. I spotted a few books about wine but since I already know so much about wine I just opted for the cheese book only. And it was only $9! Service was good and friendly. I have to applaud them for being prompt to respond to inquiries, and their willingness to address a shipping challenge was truly a blessing. I bundled several items and everything arrived sooner than expected and in flawless condition. When I was setting up my table it caused me to look harder at a piece I recently ordered direct from Le Creuset and I discovered a flaw, (already proving a hassle to rectify that) so going forward I would absolutely order from Chefs Corner instead of direct from manufacturer. This company is unparalleled in a lot of respects in comparison to a lot of others selling the only brand of cookware I have interest in-Le Creuset.
