Then, I noticed what looked like peeling on the hood and front of the car. The Toyota-applied clear coat was coming off , My car was starting to look so bad. A few people gave me names of local auto body shops No one wanted to touch my car because I had not been in an auto accident!! They explained their reasons to me, which of course, were all about money and insurance claims. I was, of course, going to pay for any work but, shame on me, I did not have an accident. Just wanted to fix to the clear coat and have effected areas of my car re-painted. Finally, I was given the name Brothers auto body in Cromwell. Problem solved! My car was beautifully repainted and new clear coat applied. It looks spectacular! No hesitation to give me a reasonable quote, no rejection because I did not have an accident. Just kind, professional treatment from all at Brothers. Special thanks to Sarah, Jacob and Brian for making this whole process run so smoothly. My Corolla carries with it some very special memories from the past. I will always do what I can to keep it running and looking as good as I can.

After having the truck for 2.5 weeks we picked it up after being told "the truck is safe, I would let my kids drive it". No sooner did we drive TWO MINUTES down the road the truck broke down. This was right after my son paid $1700 to have fixed. Called the shop and Ruben didn't care anymore he got his money. The other owner came and pulled the truck back to the shop. Long story short after two more times we took the truck . Halfway home the engine light was back on and the truck was leaking oil and tranny fluid. Brought it to the shop and they couldn't believe the work. Wrong radiator was used so they put connectors. They were leaking. The brake line was wrong and the list goes on. THE BIGGES THING.... THE WELDING WAS COMPLETELY UNSAFE. IF MY SON HIT 3 LARGE BUMPS THE TRUCK WOULD HAVE FALLEN APART! we kept them posted and they asked for a receipt. No problem. It was provided and that was it....they have ignored us. We posted a Google review and they deleted it. They are awful! We are now going to take them to smalls claims court and are reporting them to DMV AND the department of consu.er protection. DONT DO BUSINESS. HERE.

Although not a huge job/problem, I was treated as if it was. Tom came right out, quoted me a great price for the repair, then told me that I could leave my truck there THAT day, or come in the next morning, and he would get to it then for sure. Minor emergency totally solved in 20 minutes... and for $45…read more. Punctured rear tire on my truck, secondary to belt separation. Can't just plug that up unfortunately (at least not safely), so the tire absolutely had to be replaced. Fortunately, a decent used tire of the same size for $25 and $18 in labor got me rolling again. And believe me when I say Ron took his time to do this right... Ground off all the old crusty stuff on the rim with the angle grinder, new valve stem, proper balancing. He even said he'd keep its pair aside for me if I wanted to do the other rear tire later in the week. Makes sense - would provide me with an old spare, and at least have matching tires front and rear. I've driven by it perhaps 1000 times, and never thought to go there. They service larger commercial vehicles too, so they may have just founs themselves a new regular customer...

Wrong. I then attempted to fix the car myself and made things so so much worse. I took off the bumper, the headlights, the wire assembly, and other components before realizing just how far I was in over my head! Ended up needing to go through insurance & after almost 3 months of my car sitting over there with Bryon's Auto Body, I couldn't be happier to have it back. They were extremely professional and easy to work with. I was quite embarrassed by the situation that had transpired & they were a pleasure. I would recommend them to anybody who needs auto work and who wants to work with an above-board, communicative, and expedient repair shop. Note that my car hanging out over there was of no way their fault! I had some explaining to do when it came to insurance but anyway... all's well that ends well and I think I may be telling this story for the rest of my life!

I went to 2 dealerships (including one I bought Audi from) and was told to come and leave my car for month or 2 as parts are really hard to find as many people fixing cars vs.buying in Covid time. First appoitment was in a month. Bryon's got parts a little over a week and in another week my car was wonderfully fixed. Gino and Karen, you are the greatest people and I had a best service. IMO, the customer service /communication was awful. What should have taken a week (10 days ...tops) to repair the rear quarter panel, took 17 days! To be fair the insurance company shares in some of the blame here too. But Victor's never bothered to call me with an update, I always had to call them and ask for one. I didn't feel as if my business was valued or respected. I'll never return!
