I love the team at Bishops. Lisa and Morgan are the most fantastic stylists and have been doing our whole family's hair for years. They treat us like family and always do a great job whether is a traditional haircut or full out color. They open up the big garage doors when the weather is nice out which is an added bonus. read more

What I wanted was informed consent. A simple, "This will cost more--are you okay with that?" would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, I wasn't given that choice to say no. I recently visited Bishops for a highlight/Lowlight service and was very pleased with the stylist--I connected with her right away, and she did a fantastic job on my hair. However, the communication around pricing and services was seriously lacking. Online, I had requested a highlight/Lowlight, deep conditioner, and hair protectant. What I received was a highlight, lowlight, and an all-over color, was not explained would be an additional cost beforehand. I was charged for services I did not request online amd I was charged for a long hair treatment, even though my hair is above shoulder length, with no communication that this would incur an extra fee. At checkout, I was shocked to find my total nearly $400--about $200 or so more than expected. When I spoke with the manager, she didn't acknowledge the real issue: lack of transparency. Instead, she repeated that the salon performed the services they charged for and pointed out that I liked the results, which I absolutely did amd never disputed. Liking the results doesn't mean I agreed to the unapproved charges. Again A simple, "This will cost more--are you okay with that?" would have made all the difference. read more

If I wanted a choppy fad no line up and more cut off then asked we would have gone to Supercuts and paid for what we got if there is no one in the shop who is a qualified barber do not say yes to the style because you want the money because now I'm an extremely upset customer who has to pay extra to fix your mistakes Atleast Owen up to the less then stellar job and have us pay what the quality reflects you all took advantage of a sweet man who was to nice to speak up I hope you take this and do better for others because this is bad bussiness practice read more

I'd give a -star review if possible. My 74 year old mother in law called to ask about getting her hair done, since this "place" is super close by. They were extremely rude and made my disabled mother in law extremely upset. My mother in law has dementia and is trying to be as independent as possible. My wife called this place back to see what the issue was and the "person" was extremely rude to my wife as well. She was told that because it's a LGBTQ+ they can talk to customers however they want. My wife made 0 threats to this person, and when my wife mentioned calling the police, this "person" said she'd just lie and say my wife threatened her!!! Since getting off the phone, my wife has gotten threatening texts and phone calls from multiple numbers. I don't care who or what you are, this is harassment and NOBODY deserves to be treated this way! Especially a elderly women with dementia and/or her daughter who is just trying to help her disabled mother get her hair done. What the hell is this world coming too?!?! read more

I went in over the weekend towards the last of Jan, I showed the girl pictures of what I kinda wanted since my hair was short already but still enough hair to have what I wanted, first off she did not shampoo, she proceeded to bust out the clippers and started basically buzzing my hair I was going for a Jamie Lee cut but still with length my hair is so short I can't do crsp with it I have to wait a hat or wig until it grows out?, I tipped her anyway because that's who I am but this was the worst hair cut in my entire live never again will I walk thru those doors ​ read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My daughter and I have been to Bishops several times for cuts and color services and have always been happy until today. When we arrived, they were very flippant about telling us that our appointments were canceled because we were 5 min late. They said they sent a text to let us know. When I checked, the text said we would be canceled if we were 10 min late. I showed it to them and they blamed it on their "Corporate" office who had not changed the message. They then proceeded to tell us they had a "jam packed" day and could not accommodate us, yet there were 5 stylists standing at the front desk doing nothing. read more

I have been going to This Bishops for not too long but I was very happy with my services and everyone was really nice..until I made the mistake if rescheduling an appt because of an emergency. Apparently that is not allowed. I spoke to the rudest person LUCY...who has no idea what customer service is and she was very happy to lose a client. Verbatim " that's fine if you don't want to come back". I never raised my voice or got rude...and this is the way I was treated. Beware if your child has to be rushed to ER for an allergic reaction...you can't reschedule or cancel because that is punishable by death. Thank you LUCY!!! read more

This is the best salon I have been too. I have known the Manager (Lisa) since I was super young. I have now 17 and almost 18 and she still does my hair. They are super laid back and super sweet. I have talked to everyone there and they are the nicest people you could know going to a salon. They always do amazing work every time. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else read more

This service was several months ago but the experience is still fresh in my mind as a rather negative one. My husband and I both went in for haircuts. He went first and I sat and waited. The woman cutting his hair was incredibly friendly and thorough and gave him a great experience. He told me all about it as she was cleaning up and prepping for me. I sat in the chair, foolishly expecting a similar experience. She started off curt and devolved into rudeness. She made me stand for my entire haircut, which was not a pleasant experience in the first place and even more uncomfortable as I was heavily pregnant at the time. I asked her to cut layers into my hair and she told me "no". I was taken aback and asked if she could at least trim my bangs and once again, she said "no". I don't think I was requesting anything absurd for a haircut, but she sure seemed irritated that I asked. When my husband went to pay, she was bubbly and chatty again. I'll give the place two stars for my husband's positive experience but I can't muster much else read more

Wow! Let me just say that this salon/shop/barber is the best I have ever been to: hands down. I've had my hair done at high end places , fancy places, chain haircut shops and even done by friends in their homes but this place blew away my expectations. Also I will point out that they even offered me a waterbottle while I waited. It wasn't a long wait though. Less than 4 mins. I had an appt and was early. Morgan did a fantastic job fixing a botched cut that I recently had. Even though she had to undo the damage caused by another stylist at another location which I will not disclose due to privacy reasons she never had a bad thing to say about what the pervious stylist did. I will say that my last haircut was not what I wanted at all. However I bit my tongue and accepted it knowing that I would have to go elsewhere to spend the $. I'm so glad I did. This is a very non judge mental very welcoming environment and atmosphere. The ambience is top notch. Think of like a vintage type barber shop with modern decor and house of blues vibe. There's no blues here though. I've never been more satisfied or blown away with my haircut. The last one I had elsewhere was supposed to be a pixie but ended up looking like a North Korean dictators haircut. Morgan evened up the sides and the back and took just the right amount off the top. She styled it with great product that wasn't overly heavy, greasy or abundant with harsh smells. I was handed a mirror every step of the way and was educated on what exactly happened to my hair and how to fix said problems. She was also very positive and made my haircut versatile so I can style it different ways. I took a card and will gladly come back. I live in Denver but I'm willing to drive to Westminster just for this store. Thank you Bishops. I like the fact that I can get any hair cut without feeling judged for it. Lots of product to chose from. Very clean and sanitized environment, comfy chairs, tv. Stylists who know what their doing. Who knew there was so much science to cutting hair? Worst customer service I have ever had in any industry! Manager was rude and combative. There is an issue with their web site where if you click on the get directions button it takes you to a different location a block away at another salon. After calling, e-mailing, and texting I got a call back from the manager who said I wasn't welcome because I didn't want her to cancel my appointment even though I was still there before the 10 minute grace period. She took $ right out of her stylists pocket, I wouldn't want to work for her! read more

We love Bishops! Morgan does an excellent job - some of the best haircuts I have ever had. She does my hair, my mom, daughter and best friend. I use a wheelchair and need some accommodations and they are fantastic. Lisa, the manager, is great also! I would highly recommend! read more

My 14 year old son is trying to grow out the back of his hair so we asked Lexi to cut the sides and clean up his neck and I made sure to explain for my son that he wanted to leave the back alone because he was growing it out, I said "to kind of like a mullet" and she responded saying oh yea thats the style for the teenagers. After her acknowledging the cut we wanted she proceeded to shave off the entire back of his head and the sides. I told her thats NOT was we asked for and the stylist Lexi said oops my bad. When I asked for my money back I was told by the manager that services had been given so no money back. DO NOT EVER trust these stylist with your hair cut needs. While I was waiting another girl was walking out crying and her hair looked terrible from another stylist. This was our first and LAST time getting any kind of service at Bishops.
