I'm a male and grew my hair out for the first time. I became very attached to my hair, especially because I had learned it was naturally curly when it was long enough. After not getting a haircut for about a year and a half my hair was in need of some tidying up. I decided to cut it to the length it had been six months prior, which I had a picture of. However, not only did what I receive not resemble the photo whatsoever, but it was also cut at least three times shorter than I requested. Everyone who sees my hair now tells me they miss my curls, but when I show them the photo of what I had wanted to go back to and tell them I paid $43 to screw up my hair, they all laugh at what I ended up with. The manager reached out to me and offered to cut my hair again, which was frustrating because I had explained to her and showed her photos of how it had been severely over-cut, so making it shorter would not make it better. read more

I usually patronize barbershops, but my friend and stylist went back to work today, and I wanted to show my support. I was somewhat apprehensive about being in an indoor environment. The new safety practices were spot on, and everything was super clean. After four months of DIY haircuts, the reward was to have a professional fix it. You would think cutting short hair is a breeze, but it's not, it takes more time and skill to even things out. Louis gave me nice a subtle fade with top a little longer than a crew cut, that gave me the appearance of having more hair than I do. My daughter started coming to Bishops pre Coronavirus and saw Monique. We love her!!! She always does amazing, fun color for her and a great cut! She and I both made spots for yesterday because seriously...it's been over 6 months since our last cuts! I decided to book with Harry for a cut and my daughter booked with Aryne since Monique isn't back yet. We LOVE our cuts!!!! First of all let me say as we are living in the time of Coronavirus....Bishops doesn't play. Masks, temp checks, hand washing, bags in bins, sanitizing like crazy, plastic sheets hung between stations. The safety and well being of their staff and patrons is OBVIOUSLY of their utmost concern and as a mom could not have made me happier. I had NO CONCERNS being inside for this appt. Let me start with Aryn. She is so sweet, so spunky, my daughter loved her and her hair looks amazing! She did an undercut with a cute design and bangs from a straight, long straggly mess. She is amazing! Now on to Harry and my cut! So awesome! He took a hot mess and made me fabulous again! He totally got exactly what I wanted and delivered like a pro! He was incredibly patient with my less-than-helpful indecision about how I wanted my hair cut. He gave me options, made sure I was comfortable, and checked in with me often throughout, taking time to explain what he was doing. While walking downtown Campbell I noticed this hip place and stopped in to ask about their services offered and loved the vibe. The next week I made appointments for my husband and I. I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. I scheduled an appointment for myself and my young daughter. The hair dresser was very unfriendly and didn't smile or greet us kindly. At some point she complained that I should have brushed my daughters hair out so there were no knots before I left home, which I thought was unnecessary and rude. Our haircuts are both extremely uneven. My daughters slants diagonally in the back and mine has random hairs longer than others. I'm shocked at both the unprofessional behavior and lack of skill. I made an appointment with Arynn to get my hair colored. Prior to my appt, she had texted me to see what I want done with my hair. Based on the pictures that I sent of my current hair color and what I wanted, Arynn planned out the time needed for my service so that she was not rushed and has sufficient time to complete my coloring job. During my coloring job, she hand painted each section of my hair and took her time to make sure properly saturated. I had a lot of hair, so the attention to detail was really appreciated. I would definitely go back to get my hair done again. I trusted Arynn to dye my virgin hair, and I was not disappointed! They worked with me to make sure the colors were exactly what I was picturing. Usually I would say its just hair and it will grow back. But its just so bad. I My stylist never introduced herself, so I am not sure what her name is. I showed her a picture told her I wanted to keep the length. Its so choppy. Even my 4 years old daughter asked how come it doesn't look like a "V" like the picture/style I selected. I got my cut for a wedding next week and the holiday coming up buts its so horrible. I forgot to add that my stylist kept combing into my cartridge piercing - its a very small hoop. She actually made it come off and fall on the floor - that has never happened to me before and I have had my piercing for more than 10 years. My stylist asked the other stylist "how do you make sure the hair is even, can you lift up the two sides and compare the length?" I don't even part my hair in the center, so that definitely isn't going to work. That should have been a signed for me to leave/run! She took so long to cut my hair, I had another appointment to get to and I had my kids with me, so I couldn't stay any longer. I went into work the next day and one co-worker asked me if my daughter cut my hair for me and another co-worker asked me why my hair is so "choppy." I don't recommend going here, the staff are very self centric. I came here to dye my hair and the girl who did it was literally complaining the whole time about how difficult my hair was because it was short. I was so excited about dying my hair and this experience was turned negative by the shame I was made feel for making her job more difficult than it had to be. Now let's move on to the hair cut. The guys was literally in the phone for the first half of the cut and had a lot of attitude not really caring about the instructions about how I liked my hair. Worst part, u left the place with a really bad rash and cuts. I immediately contacted them again to try to at least get a refund for the hair cut as I hated how the "fade" I wanted came out and all I was offered was credit -_- like seriously, I had to go to a different barber once I healed to get it fixed so a refund was the least they could've done and plus why would I go back to a horrible place? read more
