Great haircuts, friendly stylists. Arynn is super nice and knows my hair and even remembers little details. 39 is more than I usually pay for a cut but it's worth it here, they will keep your details on file and fix it if you're unhappy with anything. Parking is easier here than the San Jose location. Highly recommended!! read more

Loved Alexia! She made the process easy and made me feel so beautiful. Can't wait to visit her for a trim here soon! They got me in at the very last minute and I was nervous about cutting 8 inches off my hair but she did a fabulous job! read more

The salon was nice. But my stylist, JD, was incredibly rude when I asked her to make both sides even, because one side was longer than the other. She actually raised her voice at me and told me to stop touching my hair. I would go to the salon again, but not to JD. read more

This place is great! Free beer! Great service, nice people, super clean they know what they are doing! This is no chain Supercuts they know there stuff! Ask for Maree she was really great! Attention to detail and actually spent more then 10 minutes cutting my hair. Oh did I mention free beer! read more

I came in on a random Wednesday evening. Around 5 pm. I always notice the big mural on the wall when I walk by and noticed they were empty so I figured why not? Let's get a hair cut! It turns out they are walk ins only, no reservations. Their prices are good and the girl that helped me was so fast and down to earth. I was impressed. It's a laid back kind of salon, but clean new and kinda edgy looking. Most my cuts at other places cost around 80 without tip so I'll be coming back because this was the most affordable chic salon experience I've ever had. read more

I am so grateful my daughters come here to get their hair done. Otherwise I may not have ever had the opportunity to have my hair done by JD. From start to finish she kept me informed on everything that she was doing so I would be comfortable and ask questions if I had any. She listened to what I was hoping for and built on it. I honestly have to say I've never had a stylist look at my eye color, skin tone and natural hair color to help me understand the balayage colors she thinks would look good for me. She even worked with the last remaining color i had from highlights that i had done in Dec of 2019! She showed me color samples of hair and pointed out all the details of what to expect when the balayage coloring was added. And! She had to finish off by rescuing me from a bad cut I had from a different salon. She worked to help me keep as much length as possible and gave me the right cut/style I was hoping for. All in all, I recommend Bishops. It's not a huge salon, about 8 chairs, but It's clean and the people were all friendly and they played great music! It is worth the price and I definitely recommend JD read more

Marie cut my boyfriend and I's hair the other day and did such a great job! I love that she was versatile with being able to do both men and woman's hair quickly but efficiently. I've been needing a trim for so long and she made my hair look fuller and so much healthier!!! Thank you Marie!! read more

Went to Bishops in Campbell for a quick haircut and got great service with a free drink! This is the best place in the San Jose area to get a quality hair cut. Maree cut my hair and really cared about my experience there and provided the best service I've had in years. Can't wait to go back! read more

Aileen has been doing my hair for years now, I took a break and find myself always coming back to her! Both times I impulsively decided to cut my hair short she was the one to do it. She ALWAYS does an amazing job. I can appreciate the friendly atmosphere so much because my sessions are daaaays long. The other stylists are super friendly as well! Definitely highly recommend! I wish I had the hair transformation to show. Will continue to be a loyal customer! read more

I've been going to Aileen for years so when she moved salons, I had to stop by and see the new place! The place is very hip and unique. She used Sebastian products to wash and deep conditioned my hair with. We did a trim to get all my previous color out and finished with a blow dry. Not to mention they also serve complementary brew! I love the shift in salons, definitely a perfect fit for such an talented stylist! Will be coming back soon!! read more

Maree did an awesome job on my hairshe went above and beyond ! My hair was not in good shape when I went in there left with my hair looking great. Also the convenience of the hours especially on a Sunday . I will be going back to Maree read more

After googling "Short Hairstyles" for an hour last night, I got hijacked by an algorithm that directed me to Bishop Cut & Color. I went with the flow and scheduled my first appointment with a stylist named Aileen....totally on faith. Walked in 45 mins. early. After a brief chat with Aileen, she went to work. An hour later I looked 20 years younger, with the cutest layered bob! I have found my look and my stylist. In a few months I'll go back and give Aileen free rein. She has talent and skills for days. Three random strangers commented favorably on my hair today. Bonus! read more

I visited this hair salon last Saturday. The customer service, transparency, and professionalism were spectacular. I was provided with a written estimate and I was kept informed of any additional changers along the way. Aileen was very knowledgeable and gave me a great haircut as well as root touch up. I am delighted to have found my new hair salon ! read more

Came for a nice high-fade. It is hard to find a shop that understands Asian hair well, our texture is very different than other culture's hair and it takes a certain understanding of hair and head shape to get it to look good. I am very meticulous about who cuts my hair, and Bishops left me very satisfied! Ask for Pamela :) she is very attentive to detail and listens to customer requests and demands. read more

I have been coming to this Bishops locations for years. I made an appointment to trim the lining of my short pixie cut (e.g., sideburns and behind the ears). I didn't care who was going to do it because I figured that's a basic hair stylist skill (maybe that's my fault). I sat down, explained what I would like, and she told me she doesn't use shears. She told me to wait 15 minutes until one of the other stylist could help me. I waited patiently for 25 minutes, then checked in with the front. I was given the option to wait another 10 minutes (I already learned I couldn't tryst was "15 minutes" meant), or reschedule. I chose to leave without rescheduling. Really disappointed. Won't be coming back. read more

Overall great hair salon. My stylist Valeria was incredibly kind, very professional and really took her time to understand what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Will definitely be returning for my next cut. read more

I cannot recommend Shelby enough! She took care of my hair before quarantine, and once I found out they were open again, I rushed to book an appointment. Super friendly, attentive, and creative, she's the only one I trust with my hair. I come in with an idea of what I want and Shelby brings it to life. She makes sure you are involved throughout the process and that you love the result. My hair will be in her care as long as I have a say in it! read more

Bishops Campbell - Hair Salons Near Me - Campbell, California

I have really coarse straight Asian hair and it's not the easiest thing to work with but Jay has been incredible and does the most cleanest fades! Highly recommend, great service, clean and tidy stations! read more

Aileen labored for hours to create the highlighted look I've wanted for years. My hair is hard work, and she foiled tirelessly, without complaint, with an upbeat and cheerful attitude. The result is even and looks just how I wanted it. My hair is very damaged now, and feels mushy when wet, but I'd colored it before and it has to do with how light I've lifted it, and is not a reflection on the artist. Aileen gave me great tips for taking care of it and babying it, and I'm so excited about my new look. read more

I've been going to Arynn for the past 1.5yrs year and have always had an amazing experience! She's a great listener: I describe the cut I'm looking for and she knows exactly what to do. She is creative and makes great recommendations, from whether or not to do a deep conditioning to getting out of my comfort zone with a balayage to going longer, shorter, more drastic or layered. She is outstanding -- Strangers even approach me to compliment my hair and how much the style always suits and works for me! Customer service is always top notch, and Bishops does a great job of making a safe and comfortable covid-friendly environment. read more

Bishops does not make the cut! And my bar is low: long hair even on both sides, bangs that don't make me look like Garth Algar. That's about it. The cut was so bad I had to schedule a "help!" cut at a different salon the next week. (Thank you Abby at Wildflower!) Before Bishops, I'd been going to the Salon Professional Academy in Westgate, and the $15 cuts (which, unlike Bishops, do include wash/dry) were waaaaay better. read more

Everyone there was really friendly and nice. That's why I gave them the two stars and that's where the positives ended for me. This is easily the worst hair experience I've had in over a decade. The woman I saw wanted to cut my hair completely dry. When I questioned this she said they are an a la carte shop. I think she wanted to charge me extra for spraying my hair with a water bottle. When I protested she grudgingly gave it three spritzes. The cut itself is awful. I hate it so much. It's uneven in some places and bulky in others. I didn't realize how bad it was while I was still in the shop and my hair was still damp after a color (story/review for another time). It's only the past few days that I've been trying to work with it that I can tell how truly awful it is. It's going to be such a long, painful 4-6 weeks before I can get it cut again. Really awful experience. If I need another last minute appointment and my usual person is booked, I'll go to the nearest beauty college because they can't do any worse! read more

Went in for a long overdue hair cut with Arynn. Very professional/great conversationalist/extremely talented hair stylist, did an extremely excellent job with my hair! You can tell they are passionate about what they do. Definitely going back to see Arynn! Cool environment/interior.Parking was pretty easy the building isn't hard to find. Would definitely recommend going here to friends/family. 10/10 Thanks for the amazing hair cut Arynn you're the best!! read more

This salon has great service and is a cute and chic spot! Big shoutout to Arynn for giving me an amazing new look and a fun chat :)

Came here to see Aileen for a haircut and highlights. Loved Aileen and had a wonderful time - the few hours flew by quickly, and loved the end result! I got my highlights showy yet natural looking just like I wanted, and my hair is now easily workable thanks to the haircut. The rest of the staff also seemed very nice and friendly, and the salon itself looks awesome and is nicely decorated (felt really cool and pleasant sitting there). Refreshments were also offered which was very cool and appreciated. Highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

I had a coupon to use as a first timer at this salon and after reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to see Serena. She did NOT disappoint!! I wanted to cut about 4 inches off of my hair to clean up the ends and add some bluntness to it, and with Serena's suggestions, she made my hair look EXACTLY like how I wanted it! She was super fun to chat with and really made sure to let me know what she was going to do and why. Plus the shampoo/head massage she gives when she washes your hair is absolutely amazing and relaxing, so I definitely recommend adding that to the cut as well! read more

Great bangs cut with Arynn. She helped me figure out how short to go and gave me some tips for washing and styling my hair!

It a cool and lively experience to get a hair cut and hair colour. First of all it was walk in with decent wait time. However, the front desk friendly and offered a beverage during wait time. Then my hair dresser "Haley" came in and she did a marvelous job. This place is slightly Costly if compared with local hair and nail shop, however it's wroth it. read more
