Admittedly, I can only eat here at lunchtimes as I live out of the area and am occasionally in the area for work & lunch, so it may be bursting at the seams in the evening. If so, good for them, and for you. If not - you're missing out on some great food! It's only drawback is the position in one of those funny little 60s shopping centres that seem to surround. Harlow. Try the Keema Rice, it's the best! Another great dish is the "lamb curry", which you ask for rather than being more specific, and you'll get the type of curry that most of the Indian restaurants prepare for their local Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities. It's superb! Of course, if you want a Korma, Jalfrezi, Madras or Tikka Masala, then it's on the menu, but for me, plain "curry" beats them all. There were a few points which let it down, the service was quite friendly and attentive at first but towards the end the waiters all seemed rushed off their feet and took ages bringing the bill and then finally actually coming back for the payment. The food hadn't taken too long to arrive, but when it did it was all a bit on the cold side. Finally, the dish I had was supposed to be fairly hot but was really mild, and although hotness of a dish is always subjective this did seem like a bit of an extreme. They also have a hygiene rating of 3 out of 5 according to the Scores on the Doors website, which isn't that great. Overall I'd say it's worth going to if you really fancy an Indian but not worth making a special effort for.

Food is cooked from fresh while you wait, so you normally have to wait about 15mins for your curry but it is definately worth the wait. Good value too as the portions are huge and the curries always have lots of meat in them. Would recommend!!!!
