We went here for lunch of a weekday and it was a wonderful experience. We requested to sit upstairs…read morein the rafters, which had a slightly less formal vibe than their main dining room. There was also an outdoor patio area. We had the entire room to ourselves and our waiter was great. He was super attentive, friendly, and professional. Our food and drinks were delicious. Our waiter even recommended good pairing wines to order. The poke bowl portion was huge. The crème brûlée was one of the best I've ever had. This place was beautiful and upscale, but not overly stuffy. We were allowed to dine in casual clothing.

The server offered me a bag holder, which scored him points because I do not like putting my bag on the floor (it was a table for two and fit exactly 2 of us). Moving on to the service, it was ok. He wasn't very friendly or welcoming. It was very subtle and apparent in his answers to questions we had regarding the menu. I noticed it but didn't say anything because quite frankly, I just didn't have the bandwidth to deal with it. And because I knew that I would be writing a review of my experience and I would just mention it in the review. The menu was ehhh. It definitely changes because what was on yelp was not what was on the menu yesterday. When asked if there were any specials the server's response was no, what's on the menu is what we have. Point blank period. I had a bowl of the she crab soup. It was ok. I was surprised that the lady who brought it out literally brought a bowl of soup with a plate containing 3 saltines crackers. Size to ratio was way off, so I asked if 3 crackers was it. She looked at me and asked if I wanted more. I couldn't believe it, both the 3 crackers and her response question. It was the weirdest thing. The menu said saltine crackers came with the soup, so I was expecting saltine crackers prepackaged, usually 2 in a pack and a few of the packages since it was a bowl of soup. But nope 3 unpackaged crackers. Smh. She ended up bringing more, maybe 6 total (unpackaged). I had already tried one cracker from the first plate of 3 she brought and it tasted stale, you know how when you open crackers and either don't close the package back properly OR they are just old? That's the taste. I was turned off. However the second plate was better. I also ordered fries, which my assistant ate, and enjoyed, because he didn't see anything else that he found appealing on the menu. We both agreed that this was not a place that we will visit again. Oh and the price, $20 plus tip. I tipped despite his low-key dismissiveness.

Pleasant, funny, professional, knowledgeable of the food; you would wish she served you everywhere. I had the Shrimp & Grits Bowl with spinach, roasted tomatoes and andouille sausage... they also offer a garlic toast which I think was a thinly sliced ciabatta that was off the hook. Our server informed us it is something that is offered in place of the regular toast. Eddie had the Hash Benedict with grits. Near the end he ordered one of the griddle cakes which to our delight was a little corn mix and super light. Our 10YO had a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake, bacon and sliced banana. It was a very reasonable 5.99. So, what did we get on our way out of town.... Really well seasoned, tasting food for a great price and none of it would have been half as wonderful if it wasn't for the friendly, smiling server!

I seem to repeatedly get the same waitress, and I feel as though there may be an issue with me personally. I have noticed her talking with another waitress, which makes me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Once she takes my order, she rarely returns to my table to ask if everything is okay, if I need a refill on my drink, or if there is anything else I need. Good customer service means making every customer feel welcome, respected, and valued throughout their visit. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I enjoy dining out, but I should not have to feel ignored or uncomfortable while trying to enjoy my meal. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving customer service and ensuring every guest receives the same courtesy and attention. Ur

They post on a lot of the Facebook groups concerning Camden and always push you to their website to order delivery. Once you do, Uber Eats deliver the food. So I ordered an omelet and a bacon biscuit and went to check out. I always check the cart and double check it and this is why. There was going to be a $42 delivery fee. King's Kitchen is literally four miles away from me. $42. So I noped put of the transaction and posted about my experience in one of those Facebook groups and someone else said they had the same charge before. So if you order from their website, double and triple check that transaction carefully. About a week later, I did order from there, but went through Uber Eats directly. N o $42 charge this time. As far as the food goes, the omelet was fantastic and stuffed full. The side of grits was good, not great. I look forward to eating in house. The owners may want to work on that outrageous delivery fee.

Family operated and I did appreciate everyone was friendly, helpful and the owner/chef personally thanked us for the support! It's a rustic building under renovations with nearly no indoor dining but they have an expansive picnic table area and a couple tables right in front! The food was good! I ordered the corn beef hash with eggs n grits - the hash is straight out of a can but you can tell he did try to spruce it up a bit! The grits were creamy and rich and slightly salt forward! Hubby had the fish n grits and seem to enjoy!
