I didn't know they had a breakfast burrito, or that I had about 600 unused reward points. I opted to save my points for future visits (bc this location has never disappointed me), and ordered the sausage scramble + hashbrown burrito with a side of hash browns (bc "potato" is my word for the day). The burrito was thick and wrapped in a yummy, almost gummy, thin tortilla. I'm used to more "bready" and floury tortillas but this one was a nice and unexpected change! It went well with the fillings; plenty of egg, good portion of sausage (and not the gristly kind that surprises ya with unexpected dental appointments), and flaky hash browns. I think the side of hashbrowns are different than the ones in the burrito but I could be wrong. The sides are always crunchy on the outside and flaky in the middle with the right amount of salt; never too greasy. Service-wise this location is always on point with friendly staff with genuine smiles. Granted, I went in the morning (8:30am) but I've visited other times and the positivity was consistent! Drive-thru pickup for mobile orders is a breeze and is even a last chance to change/update your order. All in all, great location with great food and awesome employees!

I was charged at 9:45 AM for a free chicken biscuit redeemed from my rewards, a large hash browns, and an iced coffee with one extra shot of cane syrup. The order total was $13.80. The app initially stated that my food would arrive between 10:38-10:53 AM, but the delivery window continued to change: first to 10:47-11:02, then to 10:58-11:13, then to 11:03-11:18, and finally to 11:20-11:35. Since I needed the food before my 11:10 AM college class, I called the store at 10:57 AM to cancel my order. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. I called again at 11:01 AM, and once again, no one answered, so I left another voicemail to confirm my cancellation and to request that my free chicken biscuit reward be restored to my account, as the app did not provide me with a cancellation option. After these calls, I checked the app and saw that the order had been moved to my transaction history as a past order, confirming it had been cancelled. However, at 11:12 AM--after my class had already begun--I received a text from Thomas, the delivery driver, stating he was on his way with my order. Because of poor cell service in the building, I was unable to call him before he arrived. At 11:15 AM, I texted him that I was in Building 103 (the engineering building), and at 11:18 AM he replied that he was pulling up out front. I attempted to call him three times at 11:20 AM, but the calls failed due to service issues. When I finally stepped out of class, I found him by a faculty member's office door. He asked if I was Bridgette, handed me the food, and left without offering any apology for the delay, the miscommunication, or the inconvenience caused by the fact that the order had already been cancelled. Since food is not allowed in my class, I was unable to eat it until 12:52 PM. At that point, the order was no longer fresh. Furthermore, I have not received a refund for the $13.80 charge, nor has my free chicken biscuit reward been returned to my account. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I ordered well in advance to ensure I could have breakfast before class, but despite cancelling the order twice and leaving voicemails for the store, the order was still delivered late, disrupting my class and leaving me with a meal I could not enjoy as intended. Additionally, I was left without a refund or the restoration of my reward. It was inconsiderate not only to ignore my request for a refund and the return of my reward, but also to assume that simply handing me late food was an acceptable solution. The lack of communication and concern for me as a customer was extremely disappointing, especially as I waited hungry up until the start of my class with the expectation that my order would be handled properly.

Upon entering, one of the cooks was at the jukebox changing the music. I have only ever seen this in movies! The wait staff were energetic and on our order without missing a beat. Our waittress, Pam, was a real gem. She was always on top of refilling our water and my delicious decaf coffee, and even gave me a playful slap on the shoulder after I had the audacity to ask for syrup with our waffles - of course we'd get syrup! That's like asking for ketcuhp with fries. Pam made me feel at home at the last place I thought possible :) The food, without doubt, was my favorite meal of the year. Did I spend 7 hours in the cold on my bike before this, and have an appetite ravenous for fat and salt? Yes, definitely. But that does not detract from how amazing my steak hash bowl and waffle were. Loaded up with sauce and extra eggs, the bowl was ultra satisfying. The namesake waffle was soft, buttery, syrupy, and extraordinary. I tried a bite of my friend's biscuit with gravy, and proceeded to mutter some spiritual words under my breath. I enjoyed my food slowly, in good company of my friends, squished into a small booth. I frankly didn't want the moment to end, for I knew future Waffle House visits would never compare despite the predictable consistency of the fare. As I took my final bite of waffle, dolloped with an extra drip of syrup, I wished dearly to myself my college town may soon erect a Waffle House to glow bright and gold amidst the gloomy haze that is Route 1 in Central New Jersey. It's like any other Arby's inside the pilot although here it stands out I noticed it got the garbage changed quite often and the tables are wiped out after someone sits there. I want to try their new turkey sandwich but it's sold out already apparently it's a hot one. Shall I had my double beef and cheddar on a regular seated bun fresh mozzarella sticks by request and a soda. Employees were very nice and cordial. So I'm still holding it for solid four stars for this pilot Arby's
