The lighting and overall setup create a welcoming environment that encourages you to take your time and enjoy the experience. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or on a date, the setting strikes a great balance between laid‑back and upscale. The food matched the atmosphere perfectly. The big T‑bone steak was impressive--generously sized, juicy, and full of flavor. The hamburger was solid, and the chile relleno was delicious and well prepared. The staff added to the positive experience, friendly and attentive without hovering, making sure everything flowed smoothly from start to finish. Great ambiance, excellent food, and good service make Valle 13 a place worth returning to.

The setting is really nice and makes for a great dining experience overall. That said, visitors should be aware that gratuity is automatically added/up charged, (if they see your not a local) which was not clearly communicated upfront. Transparency around pricing would go a long way in improving the experience. With clearer billing practices, this place could easily be a higher-rated destination.

If you're in the Valle de Guadalupe and have time, I highly recommend this place!…read more You are able to eat at a multi-michellen star restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine at an affordable price point. Pros: -The Elote Pancakes are delicious! The pairing with fresh butter makes them equally crispy and fluffy. They are so unique and delicious we wish we would have ordered more. -the cheese, it's super fresh and delicious with a nice easy flavor profile -the tortilla, both corn and four, are HUGE fresh and irresistible ! -The mini farmers market outside it cute and helps with the wait times -The service, there are so many staff members that the send you're done eating a plate or finishing a coffee the staff are their right way asking to clean up your desk or refill your drink. It really does make you feel seen and valued. The cons: -The machaca is highly rated but since it's made from dried beef, it's still dry so we weren't fans. -The birria was good but honestly I've had better since it tasted very salty -the beans were super salty too -The coffee; it's supposedly high quality coffee beans from local area but the Cafe de Olla was overtly sweet and lacked the cinnamon depth flavor and then the coffees/espressos were very very dark roast and bitter. -My partner noted the non-spicy or least spicy chile was still too spicy for her (I thought they were fine) -The roads to getting to the restaurant was an adventure itself with all the bumps.

The corn pancakes were my favorite (esp with the butter!), my partner really liked the birria but I…read moreprefer mine with more tender meat and savory flavor. The machetes was absolutely something I wanted to try but it was underwhelming -not to say it was the fault of the restaurant, I don't think it was for me though. I wrapped it with one of the corn tortillas and dipped it into the birria which helped. Overall, good service and great atmosphere. I would come back for the tea and pancakes. A great experience for sure.

They have bathrooms with 3 stalls in the ladies room and the last stall has a changing table for your baby. The restaurant was very clean and had an open plan. Their hot coffee was $65 pesos and it comes with free refills. I just got the fruit platter and the bread with coffee. The fruits were fresh and they also provide honey as well to eat with the cottage cheese. They also gave us a small complimentary plate of fruits so I just had extra. If you order the bread, you might get different varieties but they were all good. They were on the sweet side, just fyi. Overall, great experience with wonderful staff.
