Our tour guide that we took on a day trip to La Bufadora brought us to this side trip. Best stop of the day. We had 2 huge carne asada soft tacos with all the toppings and 2 Mexican Cokes for $7.25. Definitely a must stop. Sorry no pictures. We were halfway done by the time we realized no pictures

Great experience! Workers were so sweet all said welcome when we arrived great service , food and clean!! Would come again the ambiance is very inviting and cute!

I was really sad to see tacos Zarpoza close, who were nearby and decided to give this place a try! Love the variety here of meats , and ep loved that there's a lady making the tortillas fresh (which she slaps onto the plates) Delicious, fat tacos, but do wish the meat was a bit more charred. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. A solid 4 stars!

We came here because our tour leader suggested it, and said that these were the best tacos in Ensenada. We weren't expecting much, but man was he right! This place is awesome! They serve Sonora style tacos. Their tortillas are amazing! They grill all the meat on an open flame, and the place just smells intoxicating. We ordered a ton of food because we were a big group, but it didn't cost that much. Everyone loved the Asada and Al pastor tacos. Even our picky kids that don't eat anything, loved them. The crew was super nice and very accommodating. It felt like we were having luck at someone's house, in their backyard. Highly recommend this place if you're in Ensenada! You will not be sorry!

We made a quick stop for some tacos because it was late, and we were hungry and just wanted a quick meal. I had Quesatacos with adobada. They will really good soft tortilla with lots of cheese and crispy adobada meat inside. Service was really good we came with a big group and he was able to take all our orders and bring them out accordingly. They have seating area inside but also have a side area that is covered with chairs and tables. We sat in the side area because we had our puppy with us. Price was very reasonable.

Great place to get tacos, probably one of the best in Ensenada. Got carne asada, pollo and adobada. They cook right in front of you.

I got 3 asada tacos with a coke. $7. Guacamole and toppings free. Cheaper than chipotle and bigger portion sizes

Carne asada and el pastor/pork tacos...excellent!

Excellent tacos, we tried carne asada and al pastor/pork. We had 6 tacos with quacamole, beans and two drinks...all for $11 US dollars! Great service and wonderful authentic Mexican taco experience. Thanks to our guide Eric, for bringing us here!

This little taco establishment is cool because of its "locals feel". It's not touristy in any way because of its outside location in Ensenada (it's in the southern suburbs). It's not a far walk from Playa Hermosa which is nice... although we came at night in the winter-time so we didn't see many people around anyways. The set-up is a little different, and when we first walked in we were slightly confused on where to go to order food. Eventually a younger girl told us we could just sit and she'd take care of us. I ordered 2 tacos al pastor and my friend ordered an al pastor taco and a Huarache de Asada. They were decent. By Mexican standards, I would say they were about average. Nothing too special about them. Maybe in the U.S. it would be considered above average, but here I had high expectations that weren't met. The salsa wasn't very good to me in my opinion. Very watered down, and only 2 to choose from. The aguacate was also subpar as well. As mentioned, the Al Pastor was ok. I had better ones elsewhere in Baja. I will say that the Horchata I had was very good! It was delicious. Not too sweet, but also not too watery. All in all, if I lived in the area, I might come back if I didn't have the ability to get somewhere farther and wanted to walk here, but I definitely know there are better options around.

I came here during lunch hour on a Monday and it seemed moderately busy. Quite the cozy place, very comfortable and it was decorated with Christmas decor. I was seated quickly, and my order was taken efficiently. Chips and salsa quickly came out along with the condiments I would later use on my meal. Overall, I received excellent table service. The focus of this restaurant is on Birria, both beef and lamb. There isn't a variety of other Mexican dishes here such as enchiladas, burritos or seafood. There is instead a plethora of ways to eat the Birria including tacos, quesa-birria, and stew bowls only in beef or lamb. No chicken or vegetarian options available. I ordered the lamb Birria, which came in a standard sized bowl. The portions were modest, and the ratio from broth to chunks of meat was reasonable. While this place was highly rated, I found my meal to be average in both size and taste. When it comes to this delicious dish, I am a bit of a connoisseur, and I've had birria in different parts of Mexico, including Mexicali, Guadalajara, Ensenada and outside of Mexico- restaurants throughout Los Angeles and all the way up to northern California. This was not the best tasting birria I have experience up-to-date but it also was not disappointing. The flavors were standard and fair yet not memorable. I would recommend this establishment. Tip: my usual order at these places is the stew in a bowl with a side of corn tortillas. For those with larger appetites, I would suggest ordering the same thing, but consider adding one-to-two quesa-Birrias to reach satisfaction. I would return here but also leave my options open to try the competition.
