I've been here many times each time I visit Ensenada ! This time around prices were really high , we got 9 tacos 1 margarita and it totaled $76 . Wow to my surprise everything has gone up !!! The people here are still very friendly , tortillas are hand made . Place is a lot of fun and loud The tripa tacos are not as crunchy as we like , the asada tacos were very bland , no flavor .All in all I don't think we will Return again , especially $6 tacos $15 margaritas .. the quality of food and price doesn't match .

    JUST WALK UP AND ORDER!

BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD!!! If you are ever in Ensenada or Estero Beach or near Chapultepec (where the tacos are) you have to have these TACOS I visit this spot at least 2-3 times in one weekend trip. Their Asada is AMAZING and they put BEANS on all tacos. You can can have flour or corn tortillas made fresh! You can even ask for a little cup of beans and they don't charge! EAT HERE ONCE AND YOU WILL DREAM ABOUT THESE DELICIOUS TACOS!! YOU WILL ALWAYS COME BACK!!

Tacos El Poblano is my go-to spot for excellent asada (grilled beef) and adobada (shawarma-style grilled seasoned pork) tacos in Ensenada. The guacamole is creamy and excellent here. Each taco 'con todo' will include a nice dollop of guac and tasty beans as well. Be sure to ask for extra grilled green onions and peppers on the side. The consistent fresh flavor keeps me and mis amigos coming back here for the last 3 years. This is a small spot with some street parking. Lots of locals and friendly staff. An OXXO right at the corner in case you want to bring a cold trago (drink) or finish you meal with a tasty paleta (ice cream). Really what's not to love about this place. Located near Estero Beach and worth the visit each and every time.

This place is amazing. Get the pastor / adobada. The tacos are way bigger than in the US. Great prices too.

We showed up in the afternoon and there were only a few people here. Our tour guide told us this was his favorite spot and that we had to try them, so we told him we were down to give it a try. We got a bunch of tacos to give all the meats a try, but the stand outs were by far the fish tacos and my Mulita of Carne Asada. My wife also got a Chorizo taco and she said it was really delicious. They bring the tacos out to you with all the sauces, and they are for sure all made fresh. You can taste the freshness. On top of that you can't beat the price. The workers are also all super nice. Just a heads up it's not right on the Main Street where most tours or cruise ships lead you but if you can get a ride or have someone take you here I highly recommend you come try this place out.

There was plenty of parking at the Smart and Final next door, and this is a great spot with plenty of seating for groups of 4. The pescado tacos here are to die for but my favorite was definitely the camarón taco . They give you generous portions of the pickled red onion and salsas on the side, so load up your tacos! My mouth is salivating thinking about this spot. The jalepenos were incredibly spicy though, so pick up a horchata from their drink fridge to cool down your tongue!

I came here during lunch hour on a Monday and it seemed moderately busy. Quite the cozy place, very comfortable and it was decorated with Christmas decor. I was seated quickly, and my order was taken efficiently. Chips and salsa quickly came out along with the condiments I would later use on my meal. Overall, I received excellent table service. The focus of this restaurant is on Birria, both beef and lamb. There isn't a variety of other Mexican dishes here such as enchiladas, burritos or seafood. There is instead a plethora of ways to eat the Birria including tacos, quesa-birria, and stew bowls only in beef or lamb. No chicken or vegetarian options available. I ordered the lamb Birria, which came in a standard sized bowl. The portions were modest, and the ratio from broth to chunks of meat was reasonable. While this place was highly rated, I found my meal to be average in both size and taste. When it comes to this delicious dish, I am a bit of a connoisseur, and I've had birria in different parts of Mexico, including Mexicali, Guadalajara, Ensenada and outside of Mexico- restaurants throughout Los Angeles and all the way up to northern California. This was not the best tasting birria I have experience up-to-date but it also was not disappointing. The flavors were standard and fair yet not memorable. I would recommend this establishment. Tip: my usual order at these places is the stew in a bowl with a side of corn tortillas. For those with larger appetites, I would suggest ordering the same thing, but consider adding one-to-two quesa-Birrias to reach satisfaction. I would return here but also leave my options open to try the competition.

There's one simple reason for this.... it's flipping awesome and it's awesome EVERY time I come in. They offer Asada only but several different ways. Tacos, quesotacos, burritos and quesadillas. All big, all great! I make it a point to eat here every time I go to Ensenada and even if I'm just passing through I'll swing in on my way. First off it's been the same family the entire time I've been coming down which is always a good thing. The food is always fantastic and comes quickly even when they're slammed (which is almost every day, all day) . All the food comes stuffed with plenty of the carne asada that makes them famous and what you add is up to you.. they'll throw on beans and cheese after that it's all up to you. There are two or three salsas and some avocado sauce but I wouldn't actually call it guacamole. There are onions, pickled onions, cilantro limes, radishes and it's all freshly sliced and ready to go. They have a variety of Coke products in cans and bottles for your pairing pleasure but sadly no beer or wine. When we roll in we belly up to the taco bar and they're always happy to see us (again). then the process begins.... Order, eat, repeat! When we've reached Food Coma we ask for the bill and gladly pay... tip... and go! Gots to be on your way.. someone wants that stool! Hands down the best Asadero in Ensenada. Never have I had a hoof or knuckle in my food and it's consistently fantastic! It's in kind of an odd spot but when you find it.. it's worth it! They also do to go orders and package up all the fixins for you and the yummy goodness goes with you!
