We were told that this was not a tourist spot but a place frequented by locals. The menu was simple, shrimp or fish tacos. They actively fry the food in front of you, so you know it's fresh. Then you have a plethora of toppings and various sauces to dress your tacos. Most people are standing when they're eating. Luckily we scored a table, which is one of three. We got a bunch of tacos to give all the meats a try, but the stand outs were by far the fish tacos and my Mulita of Carne Asada. My wife also got a Chorizo taco and she said it was really delicious. They bring the tacos out to you with all the sauces, and they are for sure all made fresh. You can taste the freshness. On top of that you can't beat the price. The workers are also all super nice. We got beef asada and fried fish pescado. I believe it was only $2.50 per taco so not the cheapest but definitely by far the most affordable and yummy in the touristy area. It's a perfect walkable distance from the cruise port. You can pay USD cash and it shows on their payment terminal the conversion. I don't know how to double check if the conversion was 100% accurate but just from a little google go the current conversion and counting out how many tacos we ordered, everything seemed to check out!! They have tables for you to sit at inside but open facing so you're covered from the sun/rain. It comes with 3 different salsas, bowl of limes, and my favorite part is the grilled jalapeño and green onions - omg so good! I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in town.
