This is definitely your place for some authentic Mexican food, fresh hand made tortillas, tasty salsa & super tender birria! I had a hangover, so of course this place was the cure...I ordered the consomé & birria tacos and hubby ordered the chilaquiles... both delicious!! This is a very tiny restaurant, so you will most likely have a bit of a wait on the weekend since that's when I've been here and it's always packed. But, that shows how much people enjoy this lil gem. I usually order to-go, they do give you a lil paging device to alert you when your order is ready, so you can go wait in your car so your not in the way and just a heads up, they have only taken cash the past times I've been there. The lady at the register is very friendly despite how ridiculously busy she is! They have a wide variety of dishes to try, next time I'll try their menudo. I haven't been here in a while due to covid but today I came back with my mother and I am really sad and disappointed... Waitress is super rude .. Portions shrunk and prices went up. My go to is morisqueta. The plate significantly shrunk to half of what it used to be. The large pozole which my mother always orders when it's cold is now the small plate. Food is not as great as it used to be either .. My father told me about this a few months ago but I didn't listen and wanted to see for my self . He had the same complaint about the price and portion . I don't mind the price upcharge if the portions were still the same... but I definitely do mind if my portions are smaller..
