I just got back from this facial a few moments ago and usually after getting my faced picked at, I don't look great. But someone in the elevator stopped me and said "your skin looks radiant!" of course my head is now so big I don't know how it fit through the front door. =) The lady who owns this business (forgot her name!) is the sweetest woman ever, she doesn't sugar coat things, she's not pushy about buying her products and she's really fun to chat with. While the facial regularly is quite pricey ($250), I had a living social deal for $99 and I think after today, my husband's going to have to work overtime so I can fit more facials in from Biotec - because I'm hooked! read more

I purchased a Living Social Deal so was able to receive a big discount on my facial. I purchased a 90 minute facial but it only lasted 45 minutes. Maybe if you pay full price the facial will actually be 90 minutes. Also, the business is run out of a house in Georgetown...not as charming or relaxing as one would think. The facial itself did not hurt my skin in anyway but I also can't say it was one of the best I've ever received. I'd spend just a bit more $ and go to a place like Bliss or Elizabeth Arden. read more

Biotec USA by far has the best skin care products to date! I have very sensitive skin and would constantly have to change products. After using Biotec USA, I refuse to go anywhere else. My skin used to dry out after being out for a couple hours, I absolutely don't have that problem anymore. I use the foaming cleanser which is great. Its so easy to use and I love the fact that I can clean my sensitive eye area. I use the serum collagen hp which does a great job protecting my face in the daytime. The vitamin C 10% & Calcium is wonderful!!! My face always feels refreshed and keeps a nice glow. My skin tone doesn't change when the weather changes anymore, everything is so even now. At night time, I use the retinol capsules. I like the fact that I don't have to go through a whole process before bed. When I wake up, my skin feels softer and as weeks passed, my skin has gotten firmer. Thanks Biotec USA, because of you I will look 30 when I am 50 : ) read more

I received a mailer from Tanya and decided to give her a try and I'm so glad I did. Tanya is no joke- she is incredibly knowledgeable about skin and holds several science related degrees. She even has labs where she makes her own products. My skin looked so fantastic after I left and even better in the days following. Not until I started seeing Tanya did I see any real, lasting improvement to my sensitive skin. I have been her client for ten years -- her products are amazing; in fact, I haven't used and won't use any other line because of the way her products feel on my skin and what I know is in them (all the good stuff). Tanya offers products for all skin types, and some come in travel sizes. I love the healing effects of Tanya's Vitamin C & Calcium Serum, and I love how her Q10 day cream, High Performance Creme, and Eyeliss Contour all feel like cool water to my thirsty skin. I don't know where the other woman went who wrote the earlier review. I had my Living Social special facial today and showed up to a residential house--no elevators (at least that I could see). Instead of trusting my instincts that this, not being in a medical or spa building, might not be the best experience, I told myself not to judge a book by its cover and went in. This was the WORST way I've thrown away money, as of late. The woman who owns the house has tenants downstairs who had screaming babies that echoed through the room--providing a less that peaceful experience. She spent the entire session showing me how she cleans/sterilizes things (I'm not complaining about the cleanliness here) but her "professional" equipment included CVS boxes of needles. Everything went ok until she asked if she could take care of my whiteheads. It being a facial,and her being a trained professional, I figured, sure. She then (granted, after asking) stuck a needle into my first whitehead. I'm not squeamish so I didn't mind that part as much as the next 2 minutes where she pinched my upper cheek area until I was tearin up and almost screaming in pain. She refused to stop until the "entire" white head was out. She put some "antibiotic" powder on it when I expressed my deep fear that I'm now going to have a massive infection in my skin and then when I told her not to do that again, she gave me a hard time about not taking care of my face. She told me if I didn't let her do it, I'd have to have a surgeon SURGICALLY REMOVE MY WHITEHEADS. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but everyone I know has whiteheads, blackheads, whatever, and not ONE person has had to have surgery. She told me that whiteheads were not common, in fact, were rare, and that she needed to take care of them, which I refused. Later, my upper right cheek STILL aching/stinging/really hurting, I told her and she put some ice directly on my skin. After a few minutes I told her it was too cold and that she should really wrap a towel around it. I work in a medical facility and we NEVER put ice directly on the skin without a cloth covering because it can damage the skin. Wouldn't you think someone who makes a living out of skin care would know that? She then told me it WAS covered --it was in a "sterile" plastic ziplock, and that was enough cover. I was then informed she worked in a medical field too and that she knows how to cold pack things. Now, 3 hours later, my cheek is incredibly red and swollen and my eye is even beginning to swell shut, with all sorts of bruising around it. I will wait and see what happens but if it gets worse I'm going to have to go to a doctor. Really wish I'd saved my money. read more

I'm surprised to read the other reviews. I have received a lot of different facials from BioTec USA. I have a couple favorites. The High Performance 76 Facial which was the MOST amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life. The concept behind "76" is that it's 7 facials using 6 products. My face was is absolute heaven. I literally fell a sleep in the middle of it. The lady who did my facial, her name is Tanya. She also did a lymphatic drainage massage- absolute bliss. At the end of my facial my skin looked brand new. I didn't even wear any make up for weeks!!! I also came back shortly after a Miami trip and got the deep pigmentation facial because I had a lot of sun patches, dry skin. At the end, my face was even and one color. It was unbelievable. For the person who wrote that the location in Georgetown isn't "charming" you must be a new client because BioTec USA used to be based out of Fox Hall medical building in Georgetown. She moved it to where it is now for convenience. I've been seeing Tanya for over 7 years now and she is the best in the area. I've had a chance to meet her other clients in the waiting area and they are the "who's who" in DC. The thing I like most about BIoTec is that the owner is not just the owner, she is the Science Manager... she knows all the chemistry behind her products because she formulates them herself! There's nothing she doesn't know about her products, (trust me ask her and then try asking someone at Bliss her Elizabeth Arden)! Anyhow I recommend her all the way! read more
