The staff stared at me when I walked in and didn't say anything for minutes, which was fine by me. One girl yelled up "time?" and im like, "like my appointment time?" "it was 4:45, I am sorry I am a little late because of traffic and an accident but I did call and no one answered". Both employees continued working. I stood there thinking, okay no big deal. A few minutes later the older woman snippily says, "I said I'll be right up". I said," okay, no problem" but since she was clearly annoyed I sat at a chair. A third lady came up to intake me and the older woman says,"Nope, reschedule". I am appaulled at how rude they were. I was FUMING and really had to try hard to keep my cool. I am a human, so you can use full sentences when talking to me and treat me like it. I have AB positive blood by the way so I am a universal plasma donor. read more

I would advise anyone that comes here to request a professional or someone that has been doing this job for a while. A young short blonde haired lady attempted to put the needle in my arm, but missed and proceeded to try and poke around with the needle inside me to hit the vein. Doing so, she left scarring, bruising and swelling and walked off with an attitude asking someone for assistance to apply a separate needle inside my other arm. The Second young Lady was great. Nice, quick & professional. Be careful on who you allow to put a needle inside your arm. I'm glad my situation didn't turn out worse than it is. read more

Always slow as H3LL !!!! Need more beds and more staff! It should not take 4 hours!!!!!!!! And the pay is so small ! They get at least $1500 a bottle for plasma while only giving you $50! read more

Great place for plasma donation. I donated for the first time and my blood pressure dropped really low but the MSS took great care of me and had to stay late because of me. They had to give me a saline bag to bring my blood pressure back up and make sure I was well enough to leave. Even though I think I'm now permanently deferred I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to donate plasma. read more

They keep lowering there payments it's $92.00 for 2 Donations. Not worth my time. No other plasma donation place is that cheap. I can't go any other place because of my age read more

I webt for a mont 2x's a week. They make roughly 5000 per bag. The last day, their systens went down, but came back roughly an hour after they opened. On Oct.20th 2025, it happened agaib, but didn't come back online while I was their. I asked for my patment, as I was told if something happens where I cannot donate, as ling as it's nit my fault, they pay out. Well, thats a lie. I used public transportation, and was counting on the supplemental money for my girls BDay. They refused saying it wasn't fair for those that had already left Don't care about fair.I care about your word, your promise. I came straight from a 10 hr shift, spent hours on the bus, which costs me, and now can not get compensation for doing everything I could to donate. if people qould like to NOT ASK for their money, thats on them. Apathetic and uncaring. read more

Normally I would give a "10" as everyone I have encountered has been very professional, kind and caring. Always making sure you are okay and know exactly what they are going to do. But, I recently had to have some additional paperwork submitted. The nurse who was working with me was great and gave me a coupon for additional compensation on my next two visits. I thought this was very kind. He actually wrote the date wrong, so I had another nurse update and approve it. I gave plasma today and submitted the coupon. The manager who processed it was tentative. She got another employee and they went in the back. When they came out I was told, rather tersely, that they changed their policy and would not honor the coupon for the two donations promised. I was paid for today only. I said the coupon was issued by them, just last week, and should be honored as is. They refused. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of integrity of the person who refused to honor a coupon that they issued, and was approved by two ppl. Whether or not their policy changed, the coupon should have been honored. read more

Hire more people or limit the amount of appointments you take in a day. When 25 people are standing in line and one employee is pricking fingers, that's ridiculous. A three hour donation isn't worth $45. read more

You schedule a time to come in. No long unpredictable lines. No waiting outside in the cold. This place is fast and knowledgeable!

Some days they're quick and other days you'll be waiting over an hour just to get screened. Sometimes you'll get screened quickly and wait in the bed for an hour before they get started. Definitely give yourself 3 hours for the appointment. They really do vary anywhere from 1-3 hours. They're very short staffed but instead of taking less appointments they keep piling everyone in. They either need to hire more people or take less appointments at a time. I oftentimes hear employees talk about how they're still working an hour or more past when they should have gone home because they feel bad leaving their coworkers in a bind. Just check out the compensation ahead of time, assume it'll take up to 3 hours and decide if it's worth your time or not. I will say that the facility is clean and almost everyone there is friendly and helpful. Apparently they don't control the number of appointments the center takes and they're short handed. It sounds like if the employees had a say they would be accepting less appointments than they do so they could handle the workload better. It's a shame that the people higher up who make these decisions don't care about having overworked staff and frustrated clients. read more

Communication could drastically improve. Went for my donation on Sunday, Aug 25th. Was stuck by a tech who did a very poor job at it. Had to have a 2nd tech try to stick me in the other arm and by the time they finally succeeded my line had clotted and the blood they did draw couldn't be returned. So now I am deferred for two months through no fault of my own. And the center could not even call to inform me of this. I had to find out when I signed into the app to find all my upcoming appointments have been cancelled. No information given on when I can donate again or anything. Starting to not be worth $100 per week. read more

RIDICULOUS WAIT!!!!! I waited 2 hours today and then my heart rate was too high to donate....probably because my Adderall had started working! I was watching it on my watch, and it was in the 80's when I got there....so, had I been able to get in within a reasonable timeframe, it would have been fine! To top it off, due to today being the last day of the donation week, I lost $100!!! I don't know if they need a different process or more staff; and maybe they don't pay enough..... whatever their issue is, someone needs to address it!!!! Most of the staff are friendly and seem to try to get people moved through, like Pat is great, but there are some who don't get in a hurry to do anything, no matter how many people are waiting....JUST NOT GOOD!! read more

I am just a little disappointed at this establishment. They have a "Supervising Room" where spouses can take their children to change them or to watch while the other donates plasma. I have witnessed this being used numerous times, but never by parents, only by employees who decide to take breaks while on the clock. Today, I took my wife to donate and me and my 10M old daughter decided to sit in the playroom. We were visible by all staff, and it was clear we were doing nothing wrong, just waiting. My daughter was not making a single peep. One worker, who goes by the name "Carly", snitched me out to management that I was inside of the CHILD SUPERVISION ROOM. An older lady who's consistently an a** came in and told me she needs me to leave or be escorted out because the premises is 18+.... Okay? So why is there a child supervision room, complete with an entire baby changing station, magazines, toys, etc. in it? I understand needing to donate plasma, but if you have a family, BioLife may not be for you. They are always first to do what they can to ensure the crackheads receive the most money through promotions while parents get shit end of the stick while trying to make a couple extra dollars to make ends meet. It's clear to me that the young lady simply doesn't have children, nor the ability to possess compassion to know what it could be like. Her privilege shined through as she smirked with evil as me and my daughter were forced back outside against our will. You better believe they kept letting my wife donate tho. Will be filing complaints through BBB and corporate. read more

Why does the company biolife think they can keep messing around with people? Their pay is all over the place now its down to 25 dollars the first donation and 100 the second? While the people at the greenwood location are awesome this company is seriously short changing the donors look up how much they make off your donation folks compared to what they pay. You won't be happy. read more

I arrived 10-min prior to my 9:05am scheduled appointment on a Fri to be told there would be a 1-hour wait. Let the waiting begin. At 9:55am, my pager went off and I was told it was just time for me to enter the building and sit in the last chair in line of donors to standby for screening. So more waiting. I finally got to a tech at 10:45am for my screening. Done with my screen by 10:50am to go stand in another line to go donate. More waiting. Keeping in mind that my scheduled appointment was for 9:05 AM. By the time I got to my screening, the techs were telling the donors entering that there was now a 2-hour wait. So many donors just turned around to leave when they heard the wait time. Not to mention that with all the waiting, their Wi-Fi only had one bar of service and the building is so solid that it's interfered with my Internet reception, so definitely bring a book, crocheting, or something not electronic with you if you come here. I'll give this place 2 stars just because it appeared to be very clean and the techs were pleasant, but what a completely inefficient process. read more

The staff is very friendly, helpful and polite to the donors but they need more qualified staff or a better scheduling program. My appointment time on 1/19/23 was at 7:15am, they open at 6am. They had a sign on the front desk saying that it was a one hour wait already. How do you have a 1 hour wait when you only opened your doors an hour ago. This is exactly why I stopped donating back in October. I had a three hour wait from my appointment time. I guess in 3 months time nothing much has changed. My wife still chooses to donate here during the evening hours and she had a four hour appointment last week. read more

If you're looking for a good place to donate, look elsewhere. They drew my blood during my last visit and were supposed to test it for proteins. Well, they never tested it and now I have to wait 7-10 days for them to call me. I'm being punished for their incompetence and get nothing for coming in today. Don't waste your time and fuel coming here. Also, they are really slow. read more

this specific location is horrible. i have gone there multiple times @230, and sat ~ no movement for at least 1 hr 1/2, and DID NOT LEAVE until @630pm! It used to take me 30 minutes total to donate at my usual location before i moved to Indiana. no one at the front desk is moving a line forward so everyone is just standing for x 1/2hours on their phones because everyone who worked there disappeared. I've seen many people walk out after a hour and a half of standing. I wait a total of 4 hours to make $40? that is ridiculous. there is one lady who is on the shorter side, long hair who is rude as s$it. this store should be reevaluated and removed, there are at least two people i met there who actually where NICE and spoke to me like i was a PERSON. read more

Sitting here waiting to be hooked up.. all the techs sitting around talking to each other and going to whoever they want. Like 3 or 4 ppl was hooked up before me and I was seated before them. So now when it was time to take me down he bypassed me twice goand got an attitude like a female because I was stopping him from running game on the female donor he was taking down who came down after me. Everybody see him taking advantage of his position with the female donors and trying to get on because they need this 40.. don't go here!!! The words customer service do not exist. I sat there forever waiting to get helped on and it never came. Every time I come here it's a little worse than the time before. It's plagued with the same staffing issues as everywhere else. The last time there was a nightmare. It took literally 3 hours to get a chair and another hour to donate. By the time I donated I was thirsty and hungry and I was then sick and weird feeling the rest of the day. Went in at 11 (on a Sunday) and got home after 4pm. Never going back. read more

Big time scam. They promise $900 for your initial 8 donations. Then when you show up with the coupon they say, we aren't offering that anymore. The amount for a donation keeps dropping based on how tough the economy is. If they have lots of donors they pay less. A few months ago they were paying $35 for your first donation, $65 for your second in the same week. It dropped to $25/$65, then $20/$60. My last donation was in Ypsilanti Michigan. They gave me $20 on Saturday and then when I went the following Tuesday, they only gave me $20. When I brought it to their attention, they said their week begins on Tuesday so my second donation didn't count for the $60. So for driving 40 miles round trip and sitting for an hour and a half with a needle in my arm, they paid me slightly better than a McDonald's worker! Another time the phlebotomist punctured my vein and I had a massive bruise on my arm from all the blood leakage. Ready for the punchline? These companies sell plasma for about $400 a unit and hospitals charge 4x that for it when they sell it back to patients. I am done with this company and I encourage anyone thinking about them to reconsider!!! read more

if I could only give this place a zero. what is the point if you make an appointment and still have to wait for 2 hours before even getting your bios done first? Our time is valuable. I had gone in for my one year physical and was told by the nurse I have had my ears double pierced at some time in my life, which I haven't. We went back and forth about it and she marked down in my file that my ears have been doubled pierced at some point in my life so I was disqualified from donating again. I could never recommend anyone else to go, If this is the level of care one can expect from a nurse there. I couldn't trust a place that is so incompetent in the future. I'm just thankful nothing ever went wrong in the past, now knowing this was the nurse that would have come to my aide. I will be just donating whole blood during the drives held by the blood bank going forward. They have RN that supervise. read more

This place is so bad. I don't know if it's because of capacity restrictions or understaffing but whoever is in charge of appointments is incompetent and needs to adjust how many appointments are available because they seem to be operating with half staff/capacity but still allowing full capacity appointments which makes the wait time INSANE! Today was a disaster. I checked in at 10, did my questions, and had my vitals checked. (by a new employee being trained so it took longer), and went to my assigned section. There was a delay in getting me hooked-up. Then I was told the computer system was down. I waited 2-1/2 hrs. (the last 15 min. in my car because the building was so cold). i informed staff that I was going to go to my car to get warm and would come back in in a few minutes and check the status of the system. I was told that was fine by two people. When I went back in, the system is still down, they have no idea for how long. I was then told that even if it comes back up today, I can't donate now because I went to my car. This is ridiculous. I made every effort to make a donation today. It was certainly not my fault I was unable to do so. Most of the time, all but a very few of the staff are cordial, professional, and efficient. Today couldn't have been worse, a complete waste of time. read more

$140 promotion- you must complete the 1st donation by Thursday, or you won't get the $100 on the 2nd because the week starts over on Monday. The email doesn't say that because they're being sneaky. The staff at this location are extremely friendly and professional. You can tell they all work hard and try to make it an easy experience for everyone. If YOU do what you're supposed to do then it's a simple process. Just make sure you read the FAQ section of the app/website. If it's you're first time coming you have to bring social security card, ID, and proof of address. Don't be surprised when they ask for these things. You're first time you will need a physical before your donation so it will be around 2 hours. Your donations after that will all be approximately 1 hour. The best time to go is in the mornings or early afternoon before people come off work. Make sure you take advantage of the promotions they give out. I will receive $400 this week for 2 donations!
