I have visited this location twice now. The location itself is extremely clean and well kept. The staff is extremely friendly and thoroughly explain the whole process as a first time donor. My only complain is that this location is extremely busy and seems to be understaffed as it can take up to two hours to finish donating. It's awesome that they compensate you for your time but I really wish the process could be done a lot quicker. My first time it took three hours to get my physical and finish donating. The second time they barely hooked me up to the machine after an hour after my appointment. Be sure to account for this when you come to donate, it can take longer than expected. read more

Don't go here. Go anywhere else. They will do everything, include lie, to stop you from getting your full new donor promotion.

Wait times are ridiculous & appointment slots are every 5 minutes ... they need better organization and better employees. One of the techs, Shiv, is the sweetest though & knows what she is doing. Her communication is amazing, especially, during busy times. read more

I have been here 3 times and I always plan to be there awhile. My first time they warned me I could be there 2 hours and I was. My second time staff was busy and took about 30 mins before they got started today I was in and out. Overall good experience and I make extra cash. Helps that it's near my work so easy to come after work read more

They wouldn't allow me to save lives because of an illness I had in the early 90s. I have been healthy and monitored every sense and no issues but they didn't want to change their mind. They denied me... Everyone my job sends us to volunteer allowed me to donate. They should have a better way to handle scenarios like mine and not assume and be judgmental read more

First, I made an appointment online and waiting at least 20 min past that time while staff was just standing around. Then, when it came time to take my picture, I had to contort myself against a wall because there couldn't be people in the background. The way they have everything set up makes it impossible to not have anyone in the background unless they contort themselves oddly. The final straw was my "vein check." This is where I was told that I couldn't donate because of my full sleeve tattoo. Because they need to be able to "see" two veins. I've had numerous phlebotomists over the years take blood from that arm- no problem. But, people that only do that all day have to be able to see the vein. I was then dismissed. After 45 min of waiting and paperwork fill out. And of course, that policy is not indicated beforehand which means you have to go through the whole process to be rejected. Funny enough, I got a text inviting me back.... because they don't check their automated system against people who have been rejected. read more

I've been sitting in a bed waiting for someone to connect me for 25 minutes and they are connecting everyone around me including people that came after me read more

Looks very clean but they have you go through over an hour of screening and toward the end of the screening they ask if you have any auto immune diseases, if so you cannot donate. Wish they ask that question when you walk through the door, rather than them have you give all your info, poke you to check your blood levels, and the list goes on for an hour. I'm confused because I give blood at United blood services and they take my blood, the lady told me to "go there then" hmmm read more

Wait times are too long with an appointment, some of the employees are rude & clueless. Customer service needs improvement. The girl at the front, Shivanni, was super helpful when I wasn't feeling well and her process really made me feel at ease. Will try this center a few more times, before I switch locations. read more

Went 3 days ago for the first time and all the staff who I met was very friendly. Had a pleasant experience but unfortunately I was only able to do the physical. My donation was rescheduled due to the time which I didn't mind. Today I got there if anything 2 minutes late asked the reception what I needed to do. (Reminder there is a "10 minute grace time). She sent me to do the questionnaire and the questionnaire sent me back to an employee. Since the receptionist was busy I sat back down, went to the restroom and when I came back out I just waited for a receptionist to assist me, I wasn't able to get the receptionists name but by the time Chloe saw me it was about 15 minutes into my appt. She doesn't work in the front but saw me waiting and helped me out as best as she could; very nice young lady. She spoke to the receptionist who guided me only for her to basically talk negative about me to her saying I was late and she wasn't going to see me. The only person who saw me walk in, that could've vouched for me was a few feet away talking about me and I'm standing there listening to everything. This receptionist with the orange hair was very unprofessional. I could've called the supervisor and made a scene but I'm not that type of person, I know review hurt more. We are all in need of money right now and for that same reason I wouldn't encourage you not to go here but I hope you have a better experience. Careful with this receptionist, she definitely doesn't deserve a raise if they ever considered it. read more

The worst plasma center they need to hire more employees everything takes at least 3 employees to do one thing not communicating with other donors to let them know when they will attend to them never have been so irritated why do they also require appointments but still have lines that don't even fall within the timing of your appointment , I set one up for 10:55am didn't finish up until 2pm read more

Normally I would leave this place 4-5 stars, but this time I can't. They are BEYOND understaffed and overbooking appointments. There is no socially distancing and have so many people waiting on top of each other just to be screened with only 2 workers doing screenings. Plan to wait at least 45 minutes if you go after 3pm. How can management allow that to happen or not have enough staff especially during COVID? read more

Appointment times are very strict. I was told that my babysitter not showing up was not an emergency. Really? I should leave my kids home alone or bring them along? I arrived 20 min late and they had no ability to work me in. I waited more than an hour. I know that several appointments after me didn't show either but I couldn't have those slots. They refused to work with me despite my willingness to work with them. I offered to wait in the car for hours if they would call me with any opening but they just kept telling me they were booked. They say they appreciate their donors but they refused to work with me. read more

Stop allowing donors to have loud video and phone conversations. Long wait times the norm.

This place deserves 0 stars. Walked in to see about doing my physical and was greeted with an unwelcoming greet. Asked about doing physical and to donate and was right away with a snappy attitude was told that I had to schedule one. Went on to try and ask just a simple question how to change my donation center on the app and was rudely interrupted and then just walked away from me. Went to computer to try and figure it out on my own when was greeted again with another unwelcome tone. And was told that I was the one being rude and if I was to be that way again I was to be removed from the center. So I went on to explain the situation to the manager and again was being ignored and told they was busy and had other people to deal with. Been a long time donor back in Iowa where the customer service is so... much better. Then come to Arizona and be talked to like your a piece of trash. Will not return. Will take my donations to CSL or Octapharma where people are treated with respect and have better wait rooms and tvs for the donors so they feel more comfortable. Won't be recommending BioLife in Arizona to anyone read more

BIOLIFE PLASMA SERVICES -- I am a monogamous gay man who has been married to my husband of 28 years and wasted two and a half hours at BioLife Plasma Services. If they do not accept donations of PLASMA from LGBTQ people, there should be a Large sign at the entry which states such -- WAY before AN LGBTQ person wastes so much time going through the entire intake process...to find out at the end of the laborious process that they do not accept LGBTQ people. BioLife Plasma Services must prominently display a like NO LGBTQ Donations Accepted on its website to notify the community that they are not welcome. I wonder if BioLife Plasma Services is liable for poking me for a sample of my blood without such PRE-Screening INFO being available for me to see prior to submitting to the violation (BTW, other than being in a stable monogamous gay relationship, my blood sample qualified as perfect for plasma donation). I don't know who needs to take this up with the Supreme Court. That was discrimination which I (a 60+ year old man) experienced today. I am quite pissed off that this ignorance exists and that LGBTQ people endure great wastes of our efforts due to ignorance. PLZ SHARE SO THIS MAKES IT FULL-CIRCLE BACK to BioLife Plasma Services. Thank you! read more

WHAT THE HELL? What has happened to this place? The lines are outrageous. What is the point of an appointment system? Not even HALF of the available beds are being used. It's an embarrassment and a joke. Obviously management is not a thing here. Stay away. read more

Today was my first donation at BioLife but it was my second time going. Yesterday I had an appointment at 5pm to make a first time donation. I've read all the reviews about this location and I have to say, everyone was extremely nice and answered all the questions I had no matter how silly or stupid they may have been. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I do need the money and I was excited to see a $80 per my first 5 donations and I thought why not. I arrived on time for my first donation and waited to be seen. They are busy! Which in my mind is a good sign. I start my exam process. Finger prick, arm check, then questionnaire. Passed all that, now on to the physical. Mind you, at this point it's been about one and a half hours. In the physical, the nurse asked when was the last time I ate? I said 3:30. She said, "since it's been more than three hours since you've eaten, you shouldn't donate today but you can come back tomorrow and donate. You will not have to do this again." A little bit frustrating but I understand. So I made a appointment to come back the following day(today). Today I got in, scanned my finger. "Please see attendant" Le sigh.... I go the attendant she clears things up. Sweet. Answer questionnaire again(must complete every donation) and on to my finger prick. They give me my card to receive my $80 after I donate. Awesome!!! Get through all that and now I'm off to my donation chair! Sweet!! The phlebotomist was good. Found my vein easy Peezy. I gots them good veins. 45 mins in the chair and I was done donating. On to my 15 minute wait to make sure I'm good and not going to pass out. Felt fine. After 15 mins they let me go. First successful donation complete! I leave. **One hour later(French accent)** I pop out my BioLife donation card to activate them money's.... Card not assigned to me.. uhhhhh whaaaa... Wanted to call them tonight but of course it's past opening hours. Going to call tomorrow first thing and ask wth? Well not actually like that but you get the point. I'm not mad, just disappointed. I will however be back for all (at least) 5 donation to get that $400!!! Hopefully these next four go smoothly. If you've read this far I salute you. You have the patience needed to donate plasma. The world is a better place because people like you. Or something. Thanks for your time and good day. I SAID GOOD DAY SIR! read more

I have been donating regularly for almost a year now. Staff is very friendly, facility very clean etc. My only complaint is that the app is trash. It rarely works correctly & for the last 2 days it has been down and the website is down also. Called a few times and no one answers & calls are either disconnected or transferred to voicemail which no one returns a call for. read more

The first question I have about this place is if it's a donation center or government funded? The reason I ask is because I've seen faster service at the DMV. Don't they have enough people working here? Why require appointments when all they do is make you wait until they feel like working behind the counter. Pathetic read more

Super clean, organized, and automated. Rated two stars because I had two bad experiences with the needles. One slipped out and I sprayed blood everywhere and then a few weeks later another bad stick caused a super painful hematoma. Nice that I still got paid for both even though it was at the beginning of the donation read more

Wait times are horrible. Plan on 3-4 hours. Managers should get out of the office and get on the floor. Staff is nice but they need to do something to improve. read more

I have been here four times , my mother twice . Each time they have some stupid reason why they can't take us or they waste time sitting there . I went today to simply make an appointment and I sat at the counter for 15 minutes while the lady supposed to be helping me checked the voicemail and returned calls . NO ONE WAS IN LINE . just me . That was my last straw . This place is ran like a joke and the manager there today was a slug to say the least . People want to donate to help and in tough times get by! No matter the reason they should learn their jobs BETTER . Never have these problems at CSL. GO THERE . read more

Why bother with an appointment system?? You CAN'T log in more than 10 minutes before your appointment but yet you wait almost 2 hours to get into a bed. Some please help me understand this. I have donated at almost every center and Biolife is by far the best!! I am in and out in less than an hour. It is awesome to make an appointment and not have to wait for hours. It is super clean and the techs are great. Shout out to Rahem!! He is the best! Phil is a great phlebotomist. They app sucks but love everything else about read more

I've been coming to this BioLife for over two years now and it's always been a positive experience. The place is clean and efficient and although it can get backed up with long lines of people waiting to donate, if you have a little patience it's not too bad. And the compensation they pay you for your plasma is excellent. I've paid a lot of bills just with money made from donating. And the staff is pretty friendly, although one lady in particular, Annalese, who was super nice and a real doll, unfortunately is no longer working here. Overall, it's a great experience. read more

So slow and unorganized. You can go to another location and get better service. It's already tedious enough as is. I hate being ignored for 30 mins just to donate. read more

Process to be allowed to donate was very tedious. They had me contact my doctor for one thing after another and never got back to me. I know my blood is okay because they checked it and said so. I don't think that they wanted me for some reason. Never told me why. Maybe I'm too old (67). Finally I just gave up after trying again at a different location and getting similar treatment. read more

For needing donations. They had no problem turning me away even when I had an appointment. You can't get ahold of anybody on the phone either. I'm my opinion bee unorganized and feels like they are just trying to get as much business as possible but they compromise quality results read more

This was my first time donating plasma and I will definitely continue to do it. The staff was friendly and I did not have to wait for anything. I was there for 2 1/2 hours (my first time). For a place that claims they need as many donors as they can get they're quick to turn someone away if they bring a child that is old enough to sit on in a chair and quietly wait until I'm done. I'll find a different company instead of bio life. Y'all need me more than I need you so remember that next time a 10 year old is brought into the building. Oh and make sure you stop wasting peoples times and make it known before hand that a child is not allowed. Y'all are ridiculous. read more

If I could negative stars I would. This clinic is pathetic and unprofessional. I feel bad that the handful of bad ones give the few good workers here a bad name. Unbelievable that Some these people have a degree and job in this field Including on of the managers (Michael). He's probably just as bad as finding his own d*ck as he is at finding veins. Lazy and unwilling. This clinic is SUPPOSE to be about helping people. read more

This place is a complete waste of time. Many times I have been scheduled to donate, but they need additional information and will not let me donate. Do they call and tell me this? NO! They don't respect my time. They do not communicate amongst themselves and data often gets overlooked. There are many better places to donate plasma. I went to BioMAT and made more money and had a better experience. read more

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at BioLife. As a stay at home mom looking to make a little extra cash, BioLife has been a lifesaver. They have free babysitting! Before last month I haven't been able to donate since before my daughter was born 5 years ago. The staff are all extremely friendly and the facility it's self is very clean! I have never had to wait, even my first day was less than 2 hours and when I donated at other places before the first day was usually at least 5 hours. Highly recommend. read more

Rude nurse here. I would pick another center if I were you. Money looks good but the time effort and staff make this place not work it. Maybe try CSL they are much better employees read more

3rd time trying to donate in 8 days and someone behind the counter makes a mistake. Now can't donate and get $10 for my time. Never had these issues at BPL in over 2 years. And when they made a mistake they paid you for the full donation. Waste of everyone's time. When I tried to talk to the supervisor they just kept trying to explain over and over what mistake they made and how they made it. Not how they were going to make it right. Total waste of time. Staff is untrained in phlembotomy and do not know how to talk to people or don't even care too. read more

They force you to go by there scheduling, it's 12. :41 right now I came In For a standby on my second donation and they refused to let me be on a standby , they don't go by what they say , they don't care about saving peoples lives obviously because like I said is 7 more hours until they close the man right behind me cancelled and the lady said , I did that last time so obvious it's about control I'll go elsewhere and if I don't thanks boo life patients who rely on our plasma read more

Honestly, I get frustrated even thinking about coming here to donate. It's for one stupid reason too... the wait times! They literally have no cut off for the amount of people that can be booked into one time slot now. It's crazy! I understand there is a shortage of plasma but that is no excuse to have absolutely no consideration for the patients time. I take time out of my day to come donate for a good cause and you can't even do me the decency respecting the appointment time you had me book. Why not just let people walk in if your going to make them wait at least 30 min after their appointment to even check in. I don't even need the money, I need you to run your business better. 3-4 hours to donate is absolutely absurd and the manager of this place should be ashamed for wasting people's time unnecessarily. I used to come every week, twice a week. I can't set aside 6-8 hours to donate plasma every week, I have responsibilities. PLEASE!!! GET YOUR **** IN ORDER. read more
