I have used this company sparingly for respirator fit testing when our go-to is unavailable for my employees, and unfortunately this will be the last time. My employee was treated rudely during her appointment, and the manager openly yelled at staff about having to retest her. That behavior is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Respirator fit testing for N95 masks are intended to protect workers from hazardous materials. This is not something that should be rushed or treated as an inconvenience. It is unreasonable to expect someone to "get it right" in one attempt when proper fit is critical for safety and compliance. One mask per session is unreasonable, no one is bringing 25 different masks to try on.. If a company cannot provide respirator fit testing professionally and without complaint, they should reconsider offering it at all. I cannot in good conscience continue sending my staff somewhere they are treated disrespectfully and to feel like a burden. So whoever was hollering at their staff about retesting my employee (she was described to me as a taller, Hispanic woman with glasses and dark brown hair) shame on you and I hope you finally get some type of repercussion because it seems like many of these reviews might be about you. read more

I came in today at 8:00 AM for a pre-employment drug test and had a very disappointing experience. When I checked in, the older woman at the front refused to give her name and immediately went to the back. I politely explained that I have a final exam scheduled at 10:00 AM and asked if there were any options to reschedule or how long the wait might be, since my employer sent me with a specific testing location and instructions. Instead of being helpful, she was extremely rude and dismissive. She told me the wait would be 1.5 to 2 hours and made it clear she didn't care about my situation. She spoke to me in a very unprofessional tone and told me to "go sit and wait like everyone else," even though I was simply trying to understand my options. I fully respect policies and don't mind waiting, but the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was unnecessary. A simple respectful explanation would have gone a long way. For a medical facility that deals with people's jobs and time-sensitive requirements, this level of customer service is unacceptable. read more

I would give zero if I could. I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early and was asked if I wanted to go to PT first. I told them I wanted to keep my 830 appointment. They said there were other people ahead of me and they did not know when I would be seen. I came in and was told that there would be a 45 minute to a one hour wait... Someone behind me was told that there would be a 3 hour wait... The place is clean, I came in for a drug screen and a TB test for work, which I really didn't think would take so long. Inside the lobby this man was complaining that they dumped his piss because it wasn't the right temp. Another man was complaining that he wasn't injured after he ran a red light and hit some people. The front staff was very polite and helpful. It just seems like they are understaffed and just take FOREVER. there are two tv's in the lobby and information pamphlets. Office Experience: HORRIBLE PLACE! My fiance had an appointment at 1:00PM... he did not get seen until til 4:30 and didn't leave until 5:15!! Why do they make "appointments" just for us to wait hours. It was an appointment for a follow up. The front desk or anyone for that matter was updating us nor communicating at all with us about what the hold up was. Myself had went up to the desk to see what was going on they stated "we're backed up due to only 2 doctors"... I've heard that before and my own family member who has been to this specific location has also and stated they've always used that as their excuse. Once we finally got into a room we were told it would be an additional hour and a half to see the doctor, so I then left my fiance to take our daughter to reschedule her appointment that we ended up missing. Once I came back for my fiance some older lady with glasses who seemed entitled, bossy, and rude told me "we can't let you back their because we usually don't let family in but we will this one time" and I was never speaking to her as I was already speaking to the front desk, I then ignored her and said the doctor nurse said I can go back. Anyways this place is horrible, rude and don't hold their word on appointments. I'm sure if we missed the appointment for personal reasons they'd cancel on us or make us pay a fee. He is professional in his demeanor and answered all the questions I had (and I had a lot) and I felt heard. If I had concerns he gave me solutions. Overall The facility is clean and welcoming, but people such as Alberto are their best asset that would make me choose to come back to their facility should the need arise. read more

Came here for a pre-employment drug screening. I actually stopped by around noon the day before, but was told that waiting times were over 1.5 hours, which was quite absurd to pee in a cup and be on my way. I returned the next day, ten minutes after opening, with two or three people in line ahead of me, but was still told that I would have to wait an estimated 45 minutes. Ultimately, I was in and out in under 30 minutes, which I suppose is reasonable under the circumstances (not everyone ahead of me was necessarily there for such a quick visit, and they seemed short-staffed). Their waiting area is nice and open, with large windows, two TVs, magazines, and plenty of comfortable seats. The place is kept quite clean and the receptionist was polite and quick to help all visitors. Eva did my screening and made the process as minimally awkward as possible. In fact, she was actually very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I also appreciated that she wished me luck with my new job. As far as urgent care centers and drug screenings go, this one was not bad at all. If you need to come here, I highly suggest you show up first thing in the morning. read more

There was one technician in the back working solo with a physician. So completely understaffed. First visit to a Concentra facility and hopefully I'll be able to use them again. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. Center Operations Director Melissa Swasey was very helpful in arranging for all my paperwork and payment to accommodate the tests I needed to satisfy and out-of-state request for extensive physical and lab work-ups. Lab tech Ana was very efficient in completing an array of tests and obtaining all the necessary fluid samples. I observed their processes for ensuring accuracy of the tests and samples; takes a bit more time, but seriously worth the effort. I completed the exam with Dr. Karin O'Clair, then a quick check-out with Melissa who ensured I had a copy of my paperwork and was already faxing a copy to my exam requester. Okay, we all know that NO ONE enjoys a visit to urgent care! And NO ONE enjoys camping in that lobby waiting for a pre-employment drug screen that seems to take hours just to pee in a cup & have it tested for a whopping 10 minutes of an actual visit! But, this is a necessary 'procedure'. And this is the 2nd time I have opted to visit this located over others! The first time was decent, so they earned me back for the next round a few years later (and it was for a NEW job, before anyone goes thinking I was in there for obligatory reasons more than once, LOL!!!) If you arrive early, just after opening, your wait time is significantly less. And I loved the front desk staff- the gal that checked me in was very friendly & had a good sense of humor- a warm feeling in such a cold atmosphere. I have to say, while I was a little jealous of her bragging about the fresh banana bread a co-worker brought in to share... it clearly made her day & she was expanding that happiness towards the patients! Much more pleasant than a cold face throwing paperwork at you & barking your name to come retrieve your ID card. It was kind of them to offer bottled water in lieu of the drinking fountain- especially when you are in there for a whiz-quiz! The wait was less than 1 hour, which was pretty decent, as there was at least 9 other patients in the waiting room aside from myself. But- there was a funky "smell". Maybe it was the trash can next to me? But I felt like I needed to go home & shower before showing up to a job site, afterwards. The screening was simple. As usual. Most of us are accustomed to this process & know what to expect. It just aggravated me that the nurse who took me back had all my paperwork in hand, and then turned around and tried to blame ME that the fax number for results was not included on the paperwork that was provided to me. She literally told me, "you'll have to wait while I call to obtain the information YOU failed to provide." I found that to be pretty rude & entirely not my fault, when I obviously did not draw up the paperwork to drug screen myself because I am obviously not employing myself! Also inconvenient when I came in knowing I had to pee, NEEDING to pee, just having drank an extra bottle of water provided from the lobby resulting in REALLY NEEDING to pee!!! It took an entire 3 minutes for her to call & ask for a fax number. If it was THAT much of an inconvenience, someone could have asked me to obtain it while I was sitting in the waiting room for 30+ minutes, since they already had all my documents/paperwork in their possession to process & review. But she could have left out her irritation, the nurse, because by the time 3 minutes or less passed with her getting a fax number, I had to pee SO badly I pretty much almost forgot the entire process that goes along with the screenings... *washes hands quickly while doing the 'jiggle dance' squeezing thighs together then waddling into bathroom to let it LOOSE & presenting the suddenly relieved face upon proudly handing over a cup that radiates your bladder saying- you have MORE than needed to test!* So besides the nurse seeming to be short with me- it was still a pretty decent & relatively quick visit for what is necessary in the workforce world. Props to the enjoyable gal at the check-in desk who really made it start off in a pleasant manner for what we really don't enjoy having to participate in. But they do their best to get you in & out. And we know they don't like handling our bodily fluids or specimens to get paid just as much as we dislike having to sit through/go through the screening process to prove our own eligibility to be paid! Necessary evils we kind of have to work together on in order for both sides to walk away unscathed! And, in this case, the nurse is lucky she obtained that fax number in a timely manner... otherwise my sample would not have survived it all the way to the pretty blue chemical toilet area! Part of me feels she could have just let me PEE & get through the initial test to obtain the fax number AFTER completing & upon submitting results... but I kind of figure she does this for a living, on the daily, and perhaps it adds some entertainment to her repetitive job in getting some sort of amusement watching patients nearly piss themselves? read more

If you are injured at work and if you are sent to this clinic--DON'T GO! The doctor who treated me for my work related injury was biased and he falsified my medical report when it came to the IME exam. I was shocked and outraged to learn at my IME that the Dr from Concentra lied about my injury on his report. The only reason I went to Concentra was because I had no health insurance and my employer sent me there. I went in with severe pain and numbness, which was clearly documented when I was completing their clinical paperwork. My injury was also documented in physical therapy. Yet, the Dr from Concentra completely LIED on his report and said I never had numbness or pain. THIS PLACE ONLY FAVORS THE COMPANIES WHO PAY THEM. They do NOT care about the people or their injuries. Treatments are very conservative. DON'T GO THERE. You will regret it if you are filing a workers comp claim. The Dr's side with the company and their reports clearly show it.
