I've given Bio Nails a few chances, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. The service feels rushed and inconsistent. During my last visit, they used a machine to remove my polish that hurt, and seemed annoyed when I asked to switch to remover. I was also physically uncomfortable--I had to hold my hands across my body instead of the technician adjusting to each side, which made the experience awkward and not relaxing. The service from part of the staff is amazing until you ask questions or make requests and quality is in consistent . My nails weren't even buffed, and the technician walked away without saying he was done--I had to ask. My pedicure also had a noticeable bubble in the polish. My daughter's French manicure cost the same as an adult manicure and it was super sloppy and uneven. Getting your nails done should be relaxing, and this experience was the opposite. I thought this service was fine. I have 4 cuts on my fingers that actually hurt really bad. It was cuts from filing. $70 for a fill and polka dots which i think is pretty steep. Considering the polka dots aren't symmetrical at all either. But the 4 cuts is really what made me upset! They were visibly bleeding during my appt. read more

Overall my experience was ok. I went in for a gel pedicure and regular manicure. Pedicure was great. The manicurist was fine at first but when she tried to upsell me on a buff shine and I turned it down, her demeanor changed. And then the minute she was finished she said "you pay now!" Very stearnly. Mind you I was still in the middle of my pedicure. I said "can I pay when I'm finished"? And then when I got to the checkout the manicurist was standing over my shoulder as I was sending the tip and there was so much confusion with the checkout process (on their end) between the card I was using to pay for my actual service and the tip for Venmo. What was supposed to be relaxing turned out to be stressful and chaotic. So unprofessional. read more

I came in at 6:30 (they close at 7) thinking it would take 20 minutes or so (based on literally every manicure I've had before this) and Kim spent an hour and fifteen minutes on my nails. Place is beautiful and conveniently located however, quality is very low. Showed up on a Friday morning and as the other reviewers mentioned they did not have enough staff. ( only the owner, one manicurist (male) and one pedicure person who were all busy) the owner called her staff on the phone but I waited an hour for them to show up. The male manicurist started my bio-gel manicure and did not prep my nails outside of using the drill. He did not pull back my cuticles or remove any excess skin etc like a normal manicure. The final product was uneven and thick on some nails. Finally the pedicurist arrived and started on my feet- I was already so irritated I didn't even realize she only painted my toes and did not do a complete pedicure! I walked in with red nail polish which she did not properly remove and the final pedicure was beyond mediocre-not sure if this person even had prior experience? I am not someone to complain so I paid and gave each a tip but will not be returning! This place has so much potential due to location and convenience of being next to a Tesla supercharger station, but when the quality is so subpar- people will not return. I removed my pedicure and my bio-gel started chipping and lifting within 5 days. Go elsewhere. read more

Dirtiest table, with nail clippings all over l. I had to tell them to clean the table and I guess they didn't like it as they all started talking loudly in their own language. Called them at 10am to see when they had availability throughout the day for a pedicure. They said whenever, so I asked to come at 10:30, half an hour from when I was calling. They told me they could take me and to come in. When I walked into the salon at 10:30 it was very busy, everyone helping a customer. I noticed an unpleasant smell as well. After a couple seconds one lady looked up from giving a pedicure, acknowledged my phone call and told me to take a seat in a chair in front of the store. I waited about 10 minutes there until she moved me to a pedicure chair in the back of the salon with a book of colors. I then waited for 20 more minutes to be helped or at least updated. Nothing. I started to notice other customers come in and sit down to start getting their nails done right away. At 11 am I finally just put my shoes on, stood up, and walked out. No one looked up as I left. I decided to try a new nail salon out because I was done with my go to nail salon they messed up my nails so bad putting cheap fake biogel and Mia was so welcoming and fixed my nails and was honest and so sweet. I'm glad when small businesses are busy!! But for this application - it's always a disappointment. And the gel placed on top is super bubbly. Why place gel on the dip powder - you don't need it. I never was asked for these up charges.. I believe it's extra 5 for gel. I'd ask for gel polish if I wanted gel. I went to this Nail spa for the first time and asked for a gel pedicure. I specifically asked for the $40 treatments, then I informed my nail tech that I am very allergic to latex and she ignored me. Her name was Lisa. I am usually very kind and don't leave bad reviews because I just would rather leave good ones, but this experience was really not a good one. Lisa literally made 4 of my toe nails bleed and !!! She was literally throwing all the nail tools in her cart with a bunch of dollar bills touching them and she wouldn't clean them, so I was very scared to get an infection because of my nails bleeding. The gel nail came out so bad, but I didn't say anything I just wanted to leave. I ended up paying $75 dollars and still gave her a $10 tip and I broke out with a rash because of the allergic reaction from her latex gloves and my toes are bruised and hurt. I have been to several nail spas and I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I will not go back. read more
