They would not work with us on it and even hesitated to accept my partner's check card for some odd reason. Just because we are weird looking doesn't mean we are trying to get one over on anyone. We are honest people and expect to be treated as such, especially when spending 1600.00. I get that checks are going the way of the dinosaurs, and respect that any company can set their own policies and how they are enforced. Marvin was very professional, reassured me that not only are these scams very common, but that he would take care of it and make it look like nothing ever happened. He was able to do it for a very fair and reasonable price, much lower than your average dealer or even Maaco. My car was in and out in about 3 days, and from the after pictures you can see that it definitely looks like new. I contacted AAA twice, and both times, they confirmed the problem was not with the battery but the alternator. Contrary to what Five Forks later claimed, AAA never installed a battery in my vehicle they only provided jump starts. I ultimately had to take my vehicle to a certified Dodge dealership, where a full inspection revealed the alternator had been improperly installed. According to their official report, this incorrect installation caused significant damage, including failure of the fuse box and unnecessary battery drain. As a result of this negligent repair, I incurred over $3,000 in losses including: Unnecessary parts (over $300 worth) purchased based on misdiagnosis Rental vehicle expenses Lost wages Additional repair costs to fix what Five Forks should have done right the first time I provided all documentation to the shop including Dodge's findings and a video showing the issue and gave them an opportunity to resolve this fairly. Instead of owning the mistake, they tried to deflect blame to AAA, despite clear evidence to the contrary. This has been a frustrating and financially draining experience. I am now pursuing legal remedies, including small claims court, due to the lack of accountability and proper customer care. I strongly advise others to avoid this shop. When something goes wrong, you deserve a mechanic who stands by their work not one who blames other parties and leaves you to deal with the damage!

This was during winter, so never really got a chance to use the A/C for weeks at a time, so it probably only worked a few days after each visit. Straight forward and direct…read more I've worked in the auto business for 20+yrs, and I've worked with some shady folks in those years. I've heard every line, and just about every excuse for not following through. I've dealt with junkyard and salvage yards hundreds of times, and these guys have been there for me multiple times (in both the old and new location). I needed an engine for my personal car this go'round, and of the two people I spoke with on the phone, they both genuinely seemed to care about what I was looking for, and when I needed it by. There was some confusion over one engine this, and another engine that, but that's because there was a communication gap between phone calls, and HPC cannot be blamed for this. Donor arrived at their site, then they pulled the engine and had me an engine the same day the donor arrived, and then a phone call to let me know it was ready for pickup. Cool. Being an old technician, I do all my own work, so I just needed them to source the engine this go'round. The mileage was written on the valve-cover, and the VIN plate was still attached so I could do some background check on the car it came out of. Neat. My only gripe is that the parking lot can be tough to get in and out of when they are busy, but that happens at every business, so it's no biggie. I'll be back when I need something else.
