We went to Bingo4CHEF during the Memorial Day weekend. I heard stories through friends on the large payouts that you could win at this location. Although we didn't win a large payout that we had hoped for, I still had a great time. My partner won a game but had to split it with another winner 50/50. As for myself ....well I was excited to yell out BINGO but it died on the monitor and was won by the previous number . That's just how Bingo is sometimes . They do play quite a bit of flash games and can spend a lot by the time your done so be prepared if not just set yourself a limit. read more

I had fun playing bingo. I also enjoy getting out and playing and trying new places to play bingo. Definitely don't expect a win either. But to see the same man win 5 games in one night. Is ridiculous to think I spend my hard earned money and the same person winning over and over. And don't get me wrong sometimes us bingo players have them nights where we win a couple games here and there. But to think 5 wins all big wins I think this place is rigged. And I will never go back. Definitely not worth it in my opinion. And I never waste my time leaving a review so that should tell you something don't go there. Stockton has much better payouts and the sellars are more welcoming then Livermore any day. read more

Maria and her husband are friendly and helpful the place is legit lots of games for your money plenty of flash and strips restroom is clean. I would say bring your own food and snacks and drinks. Go here for a fun time that supports a good cause. My best friend visiting from Boston and I came here to play some bingo, and had a blast. Our only complaint was all the little in-between games they play. We bought two bingo boards each, but weren't even able to finish by midnight because so much time is spent on all those other games that are separate from the main game. The pull tabs are fun, but addictive. All in all, a fun time. read more

I've never been to any other bingo place but this place did seem quite charming. I think that aall the money when to some sort of community project or charity of some kind. The tables were all stained with ink (as it does get everywhere I'm sure) the speaking calling the numbers was clear and there were screens everywhere to help you along if you were getting behind. As it was my first bingo experience, I was needing lots of help from my mom. They gave us some deal because it was my first go at it, and they gave me a free ink marker thing and let me pick out the color. We had a good couple of hours here and my mom even got a bingo!!! :) One thing I was kind of disappointed in was when you get a bingo, people are like "bingo...." and not "BINGOoOGoOGOooo!!!!!!!!" and instead of everyone being excited for them, they start going "AWWW MANNN!" and i was like "Come on! Before I tell you my experience at this location, I just want to say the people who work here are really friendly and so are the people who play here. I have been coming here for quite some time and never posted a review on yelp.I was wanting to give this place a 5 star rating for the longest time, However when it comes to cheating it makes people feel "The game is fixed" and I don't care how friendly you are. This place does not even deserve 1 star. I just want everyone here to be fully aware there is cheating going on at this Bingo Hall. This location has packets and computers when you play bingo. I been playing Bingo for quite some time and I know what most of the patterns are you need to get a bingo unless it's something I never played before. The game I played was called "One postage stamp on 6 faces" This means you need just a block of 4 numbers (free space is okay) in all 6 squares on the paper or in the machine. (Payout is $500.00) I held my machine and said "BINGO" Someone who worked there came over to the table and looked at the machine. I showed the worker all 6 squares on my machine had a block of 4 (postage stamp) and every number lite up on the board was called including the free space. The worker said If you have a bingo the machine will light up the word "BINGO" I said how many postage stamps do you see? The worker counted 6 and said the machine will light up Bingo in big letters when you win. The worker then waved it off and the continued on, few mins later someone called out Bingo. There was several people sitting near me and wanted to see my machine. 10 or 15 people looked at my machine and said that is 6 postage stamps on 6 different faces. You should be the winner that's not right and it's considered cheating. Several of them said their no longer coming back to this location. read more

This bingo hall has been majorly upgraded. Ever since the new owners bought it a few years ago it has been 100% better. The volunteers are so friendly and helpful. Maria and John, the owners are amazing. They are so friendly, so helpful, always super nice. I am so glad that when the old bingo owners left bingo ranch, they didn't close it down, Maria and John came in and made it 100% better. Absolutely love playing bingo here! The games are so much fun with great payouts! I love the changes they've made to the games, the free games, the progressive games. It's so much better! I love this place... everyone is friendly. They have security roaming the parking lot not that you need it. The games pay out nicely and the pull tabs are great. Close to home and just all around great place. Mary P, if you want to talk I suggest finding another bingo place that allows you to talk and laugh during game play... I don't know about you but I like it quiet so that you can hear the caller and people yell bingo. You make it sound like were in east L.A., your obviously not from here. Livermore is safe. There is no bar across the parking lot, it's a restaurant. Judging from your reviews you give all bad names. Hard way 6 pack, crazy arrow, horse race, small crazy kite--- are just a few of the games played. if your new, refer to the nifty guide on how each game is won or ask new bingo buddy seated next to you for pointers. Bingo is a freakin' BLAST! Bingo Ranch is the place to play. For under 20 buckaroos you can play almost 20 games which usually lasts 4-5 hours--- get your gambling fix without breaking the bank. You get a free dabber if your a first timer and there are nibbles and coffee for nada as well. Peeps were so helpful & sweet as they took the time to explain the games and make sure that my numbers were properly dabbed. This place is so much fun!!! Of course after winning one of the pots of money helps!!! It's relatively cheap to play (under $20) and on Wednesday nights they have machines too. Low pressure and low key and not full of old people as most people associate Bingo with. It's open Wed night, Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. It's run by volunteers and proceeds go to the Boys Ranch. Check it out for something different! read more

This place went downhill. They recently brought in the machines...similar to Vegas style bingo...which really comes down to this: You pay more money and you are playing less games. To me that is cheating the people. I have been coming here for years and once I saw what they were doing I knew I would not be returning. Most of the players were complaining after realizing the same issues I had and figuring out on paper the costs. Let's also mention the stale bagels they offer. Whoever had this brilliant idea of having these machines really needs to listen to your players. I am now going to Granada High School to play and see all the same faces from Bingo Ranch chanting they will not be going back. Wake up Bingo Ranch...because without your players you have no money that is supposedly going to Charter Schools. Good luck with that! read more

This Bingo Hall supports several Schools in my community so when you play here you are benefiting the Schools and Children in Livermore. the staff is amazing and helpful, I have made a lot of friends at the Bingo Ranch. They play Bingo Everyday except Tuesdays. The games are verfied by another table when someone whens on a flash game the flashes played here are from 250 to 1,199.00 and regular papaer games are 175-00 to 250.00 on Friday Nights and Saturday on wedesday nights it all u can paly for thirthy dollars~ Minday and Thrusday the pots are 175.00 and your chance is as good as anyone else's no cheating at this palce... First of all No way to cheat the numbers are in the hands of the Bingo ball blower and the Bingo God's lol... With any type of a gambling its all Luck =))) So come and try The Livermore BINGO Ranch where my experience has been Amazing and the Atomsphere is relaxing and fun too!!! I just Love the Owner Laura and her Staff they do such a Amazing Job.. Probably the most tedious place I've ever played. Twenty five dollars to play eight games of bingo that took over three hours. Between every 'regular game' there was a 'flash' game. They do not play any of them simultaneously so unless you lay out a small fortune to play these side games you sit and wait. We twice asked staff walking the floor selling side games game related questions and both staff members said they did not know. The games themselves could be improved upon if they were announced more clearly and loudly and a minute or two more to mark wild numbers for those games that have them. If you went regularly enough to learn their play routine and spent enough on the side games then I suppose this place could be an acceptable place to play. If you're only playing the 'regular games' take a book you'll have lots of down time between games. read more

Wonder Woman Bingo players, all players for that matter, whatever you do make sure you call Bingo before they call that next number or you don't get what is rightfully yours! Not to mention..you pay $5 for a progressive strip and even though jackpots vary, these are over $1,000 and all they offered me was a free Bingo play for a future visit worth $20. The proper thing to do is to split the pot with the person that got their Bingo with the number that was called AFTER yours! Or give you at least half of what the pot was worth even if you pay the other person out the full amount! Human error on both sides doesn't mean the customer pays the price. Sure, I'm not as fast as others when they are calling numbers, but they give people little time to look over their cards. Of course though that's the "standard" I was told and it's the customers fault they don't catch its. Then you get nothing but more insulted, especially after you spend over $100 to play at their establishment. It's not ever $20 that they advertise. If so, you will sit there for hours waiting for all the additional games they play that are not included in that magical price. I'm beside myself and it makes me want to start my own Bingo Hall and actually take care of customers the right way! Beware folks!!!!! read more

i do love the occassional bingo and this place always provides... if you haven't been before, sit close to someone who's a regular, bc even though it was my second visit, i still got minorly confused on a couple games. but otherwise, friday night bingo is tons of fun! we bring in drinks n snacks, and bingo goes for 5hours just FYI since they have 19 regular rounds of bingo plus all the games inbetween, so be prepared! :) read more

I am so disappointed in this bingo hall. Me and my mother started going to the bingo ranch and we really enjoyed ourselves until we started noticing the same people were bingo - ing more than the majority of the time. When we first started going we only went once a week so we didn't really notice. The entire month of September 2011 we played every night they were open and by October 1st I was sick at the thought of how much money i wasted with no real chance of winning. The callers also have cards in play (that alone is wrong) If you stop and take the time to watch you will see how far they cross the line and how they are pocketing most of the pots. I didnt go there with a negative attitude and i am saddened since i love bingo and they are the only local bingo hall. I posted this so anyone who choses to go there will be able to benefit from what took me months to discover. You don't have to take my word for it just go and make up your own mind! They have a new machine in which it is electronic and all you have to do is press one button. Currently the bingo game is limit 12 packs for the machine and then additional packs for $2.50 each on paper. The caller calls really fast. Faster the the 18 seconds that is allowed. The people running this place are greedy and wants to sell other games/ flash. Note that when they don't sell out the flash game, they will keep you hostage until it sells out. All and all its a better deal in Oakland /. Durant. Or foothill. Another option is the Granada high on Saturdays in Livermore. They have as many papers as you can handle. read more

Worst place to play bingo. Small place, very few games. Games starts at 6:30 pm and they end like pass 10pm not because they have a lot to play..the caller was waaaaaay to slow. To slow that i forgot what we were playing. The flash board lady in the counter is so confused, bougth 10 flash cards and she counted them 3 times, what the hell? No cafeteria. This was by far the worst bingo experience I have ever had. I would not waste my time and money playing at the Bingo Ranch because what they did tonight was no less than cheating. If the caller had been doing his job then the major mistake would not have happened. The caller failed to push a called ball down and made a player miss the bingo once the mistake was realized the MANAGEMENt did not correct the matter and did NOT pay the player. I have never seen such blatant disregard for customers as here. I would not not waste my time or money playing here if Bernie is the caller! he also calls on Fridays, because he feels he is always right. Tonight he told a lady to sit down and shut up. This place is need of some serious training and management overhaul. This situation would not have happened if the person left in charge knew how to play bingo, or if the main manager was there, but I guess she couldn't be bothered as I heard people say they had called her at home but alas nothing was done. Huge waste of money and time, stay home or go elsewhere. read more
