Awesome people and good food. All proceeds go to the St. John the Baptist Church and school.

Dialogue excerpt: Me: I'm so excited to play Bingo tonight!…read moreManuel M.: You're just excited to play bingo, because of the prospect a bunch of old men being at the same place. Me: Touché, my friend. But maybe true. +2 points for you. But beyond that candor, bingo has a special place in my heart. My mother and I don't do anything together much anymore, and when I was 15 - she introduced me to bingo. This was the first place we went. And today, after a horrendous day in the office, coupled with a horrendous current outlook on life - I decided, bingo was needed. And thank god, it was Monday - because every Monday, the Italian Men's Club does bingo. So first of all, they have some really good Italian food here. And it's cheap. I'm down for spaghetti, almost all the time... especially, if it's good. The facilities are not great, but the experience is great. I wouldn't recommend doing 4 regular bingo cards at a time, because I got tired. Buy-in is $15 minimum, usually the night starts at 6pm with early bird, dinner is served starting at 5, and the regular games start at 6:45. The people that go here are odd at worse, and usually nice at best. So after a day of wanting to stab myself in the ear with a pencil at the office, I tried doing numbers with a cute pink dabber instead. Judge me, that's fine. Was that last number, O69, people?

Bingo here is great. It's a $15 minimum buy in--that gets you two booklets (about 10-15 games), and a $1.25 for your own stamper. I mean, dabber. I mean, those things that you mark your sheet with as they announce B-5. Note--if you're confused at all during any of the games--feel free to ask one of the 'regulars.' You can tell who they are by all their bingo paraphernalia. Just don't ask them when a game is in play.

The venue gets incredibly busy, but Anthony consistently helps keep everything running smoothly. What stands out most is his ability to make guests feel welcome, even when he's juggling a packed bar and a constant stream of customers. He's professional, attentive, and has a great sense of hospitality that elevates the overall experience. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the guests and the success of the business. In a high-energy environment where service can easily slip during peak hours, Anthony remains organized, approachable, and focused. He's a big part of why I enjoy returning to Main Bar and recommending it to friends.

It's more about the overall experience than any one specific restaurant. The ambiance is what really makes this place stand out. It's lively, energetic, and filled with food vendors, dessert spots, bars, and even a barber shop. There's often live music, plenty of people watching, and a fun social atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours here. Parking can be a challenge. You'll usually need to rely on paid garages, metered street parking, or get lucky finding a nearby spot. Once you're there, though, the area is very walkable since parts of the surrounding streets have been closed to vehicle traffic, making it feel more pedestrian-friendly.

Phenomenal Asian Fusion food stall in the San Pedro Square Market. Chicken Katsu is one of the best! Just under $20 is a bit high though.
