You order at the food truck and they give you a buzzer to notify you when the food is ready. There were wild chickens roaming the property and even went into the huts. The portions are large so we shared 2 dishes between 3 people. We had the Texan and the Cowboy nachos. The food was decent and was not bad for BBQ as the meat did not have a lot of sweet bbq sauce on it. The bbq sauce that you could dip was good. The nachos were good when first came out but got soggy very quickly. There was enough food for 3 people and there was some meat leftover.

They share a space with Kinsip distillery, however they have a distinct area for their patrons including little huts to sit in, picnic tables, and a large fire pit with Muskoka chairs. Plenty of distance space for you to enjoy your barbecue. We came late on a Sunday afternoon, and unfortunately they were already sold out of their ribs. We decided on trying some brisket instead. Our platter had two large slabs of brisket, barbeque sauce, a soft bun, and a choice of sides (coleslaw for us). The brisket was tender, well cooked, and a beautiful color. We're expecting some more smoke flavour from it, but it was surprisingly clean. We really enjoyed the coleslaw as it was vinegar-based and helped cut through the meat and provide more juiciness for the drier parts. Very good snack for two or meal for one.

They didn't have the beer my husband ordered. They didn't have ribs. (What kind of BBQ spot runs out of ribs????) They ran out of beans. They didn't tell us that their menu was out of date when they seated us. My pulled pork sandwich had a huge chunk of unpulled pork in it with some kind of gross membrane stiĺl attached to it. We are sorry we wasted our night going here.

It wasn't very busy so we had a dedicated server who was lovely and great with kids. I had the pulled pork your way and chose to get it on a bun with a side salad. The salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp for a bbq place and the pulled pork was nice - not covered in sauce and not too dry. They have a sauce station where you can pick and choose from their house made bbq sauces. This was really fun and unique! My daughter had the kids meal with Mac and cheese and a side of fries. The fries were amazing and I finished most of hers! She was also highly impressed by the amount of crayon colours they had to keep her busy. Kids also get a dessert, we chose the cookie to go as we had to get on the road. The decor was on point with a modern bbq joint. There was a lot of different seating options, tables and bar seats. The music was also well chosen and fit the theme, but wasn't overpowering. Would be a fun place to try when they have live music nights.

Wow what an experience!!! Visiting from Miami and Arizona!…read moreI came with my family (group of 9) We waited for about 40 minutes, and it was very much worth it. Starting with the friendly and attentive service from the staff. Even the security guard outside welcomed us to Rochester and made his recommendations! Amanda took care of our table and she made our experience much more memorable. The raspberry lemon drop **ELITE** I had three! And the food, we all devoured every bite. The amount of food was perfect, the sides were all so tasty, I couldn't pick my favorite! The ribs I was so happy from beginning to end. It was the best way to end the night, even the kids couldn't stop raving about the delicious food! Thank you so much team! I would 10000% come back if I'm in Rochester!

It was easily the standout of the meal and cooked to perfection. The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, the corn was delicious, and the cornbread was warm, moist, and the perfect complement to the barbecue. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Between the incredible brisket, delicious sides, and fun BBQ vibe, this was a fantastic dining experience. If you're in Rochester, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back for more brisket!

A bunch of my family and I come to the County every summer for a couple of days and nights. Great…read moredining is always a major part of our evenings. Over the years we have passed by the Milford Bistro but we've never been around that area at dinner. This year we were staying at a lovely B&B in nearby Cherry Valley so it was the perfect chance to check out the Bistro. We understand that the Bistro is under new management or ownership as of three months ago so there aren't many recent reviews to go by. The menu is limited with a few starter options, four mains and three desserts. Three of our four had the beef short rib on a bed of mashed potato with a tasty, thin yet not overly rich sauce. It was a good solid comfort meal. Our fourth had a half rack of baby back ribs with a bbq sauce on a bed of mashed potato. We would have preferred that the pork ribs have more of a fall-off-the-bone slow roasted texture but they didn't quite meet that want. Also the bbq sauce was quite strong and could have been more caramelized on the meat instead of being brushed on so heavily at the end. Vegetables were only available a la carte for $6 a plate. Seven fairly thin asparagus spears for $6; didn't necessarily feel that was good value. Oh and we also tried the Caesar salad to start - it was deconstructed but had nice solid components... a lovely fresh wedge of romaine, a nicely toasted bread crouton, a crispy slice of pancetta and a nice dressing. Couldn't be totally sure whether it was homemade or not. Service was polite and timely. It will be interesting to see whether given the limited menu, there will be frequent adjustments to keep the options new and interesting.

I need to open a restaurant so that I need to do. When I was at the Legion last week, they were selling hamburgers with all the fixings for five dollars and they said they're still making money. You know what I mean.
