During the past few days of this Texas arctic blast, we had a frozen drain pipe that began shooting…read morewater out of our washer, spilling onto the porcelain tile floor and around the corner into the living room - causing minor damage to the engineered wood floors. We were referred to CWF by A#1 Air. Project Manager Oscar showed up to assess the damage later that same day (Wednesday, Jan 17th)and walked us through the process. During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. We are going to go with CWF for restoration as well.

They didn't talk to each other, thus the work was inconsistent The project manager Colton Hayge was a liar and a con man. The work was shoddy and undone. Colton refused to finish the work and then threatened to place a lien on my house if I didn't pay in full. I had to hire a different contractor to complete the job. The only good thing was the boss of the boss of Colton in Chicago finally agreed to my terms and the contract was complete. Beware this company is the worst

This company is reliable, professional, intentional, trustworthy and a life saver!!!…read more Our toilet upstairs broke when we were out of state for vacation. MJ answered the phone right away and was the only company that was able to come out within 30 minutes. I was gone for 7 days. MJ and I talked everyday. He kept me in the loop of all the steps that were going to happen with the insurance claim. He sent me photos of everything. When I came back I was so devastated and MJ assured me that everything was going to be OK. I had my sister visiting when I came back home and he still made sure the house was all taken care of. (Keep in mine that I was not home to deal with all this) MJ and his team cleaned everything up. I had several snake issue he took care of. Yikes!!! He was available when I had the adjuster come out to my house. The only thing that was horrible was my home insurance!! Berkshire pathway/NARS. I had 3 different agents (as they each got replaced) and MJ was able to speak to them and help me in getting answers and funds. MJ went above and beyond numerous times as I was not home. I felt so comfortable with him dealing with everything while we were away. If your not sure on the insurance side. I say make sure you take pictures of everything and make sure that MJ is there when an adjuster is there and record everything!! MJ was so trust worthy that was just the most amazing part. So a big thank you to MJ and his team. Little bit of FYI.... Insurance Process is a nightmare so make sure you call MJ. Make sure you have photos. Keep all your receipts. Make sure you get a content manager to come to your house to adequately check your damages. I requested one from my insurance company! Make sure you get storage pods and MJ will tell you how many you need. MJ and his team were the ones that loaded all my belongings in the garage and upstairs into the pods as I had my garage ceiling damaged and 2nd floor. Good Luck!!! Your in good care with MJ and his team!!

BEWARE AND PLEASE READ…read more Look up "Dry Zone Arlington," "Strong Arm Plumbing" and "Expo Floors Inc" on BBB.org and online/google reviews. The father that owns these businesses and his sons (oldest son was our main contact) reincorporated their company as "Restoration Nation" in December 2018, so when we looked them up in July 2019 before hiring them for our water mitigation & reconstruction project everything looked clean. It wasn't until one night 3 months later when I was beyond frustrated and couldn't sleep that I decided to do more thorough internet research and found the connection with the other companies listed above. We could literally write a book about our roughly 90-day experience with Restoration Nation (which I will refer to as RN) but I will just touch on some of the more major points: A few weeks into the project RN demanded our insurance money IN ADDITION  to the contracted price for repairs & upgrades RN never responded to our multiple requests for written clarification on pricing after the above happened RN demanded full payment before work was completed RN took weeks to demo (usually one guy working at a time) and left piles of tile shards and excessive dust in the house while we were living there RN usually had one guy working at a time doing a little here and a little there while our entire house was torn up and unlivable  for months (kitchen, laundry room, 2 bathrooms and most of downstairs flooring). RN Did not measure counters correctly and on day of granite install told us there would not be enough to complete kitchen. They couldn't find another matching slab, so we were forced to choose a different stone for island (and they tried to charge us for it after installation) RN installed wrong baseboards and didn't respond or attempt to fix when we brought it to their attention RN surprised us with an additional bill weeks into the construction process of over $12,000 to paint our kitchen cabinets and stain bathroom vanities after making it seem like finishes were included in initial contracted price RN used plumbers that we are pretty sure were unlicensed and needed to be driven to the store for parts (which my husband did) and then installed sink plumbing incorrectly causing multiple leaks, flooding new finished bathroom vanities,  leaking laundry room sink, leaking kitchen sink and dishwasher not working. They hired another plumber to fix the work but as of today (10/27/19) we experienced ANOTHER leak with our kitchen sink and dishwasher line from things not being tightened properly. ** In our opinion** RN did not do a good job of managing subcontractors. My husband had to take lots of time off work to manage their workers and RN failed to be present during critical times of the process such as initial granite installation and the disastrous plumbers. RN told us repeatedly  "they know what to do" meanwhile subs are asking us tons of questions and my husband is having to manage everything. On their RN Facebook page they have a "Plumber Referral Program" that gives plumbers $400 plus 10% for referring water damage customers, which explains why the plumber we used initially (a local plumbing company) was quick to tell us to call RN when we noticed water issues We finally fired RN mid-October 2019 after finding the connections with their previous companies, despite having paid them all the money for the job PLUS insurance money. We could not allow the subpar work and excessive stress on our family to continue. We are now paying again for the work to be finished by other contractors and feel like this was the best decision because having them out of our house is such a relief. RN threatened legal action when we fired them, **in our opinion** another tactic to try to get a few thousand more dollars out of us (yes, they sent us an additional invoice even though they were already overcompensated and work was not finished) **In our opinion** RN looks for people in vulnerable situations with insurance claims because they see this as a blank check. They kept going back to our insurance agent with charges (that were denied repeatedly). After reading other people's experiences with Dry Zone and Expo Floors we are thankful and surprised they finished as much of the work as they did.  This was an incredibly stressful and expensive learning lesson for our family. Never again will we trust what a business tells us they will do or online reviews without a lot of further investigation and verification. We write this review hoping it helps someone else avoid an experience like we & others have had with this company and the other related companies.

What a wonderful business, extremely nice people with great ideas. If you're looking for a great…read moreconstruction company, look no further, you can't do better than HDP. Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. We look forward to beginning the next list of projects.
