And another two miles down the street from my hotel in the morning. First, they don't honor the flat rates stated on the website. When you talk to the driver, they act like they don't understand what you are taking about. Then, they won't even honor the higher estimated fare you get while using the app. They charge extraneous fees for "waiting" when they do not wait on you at all. They clearly start the clock the minute they drive onto the property, not when they pick you up. The driver missed an exit and charged me for it. He actually asked me where to go and he had a GPS right in front of him. You can't be serious. He actually kept the clock running while he found a parking spot at the hotel and maneuvered to back into the spot. I was laughing. The guy overcharged me $22. Then, a mysterious charge for $10 shows up on my bank statement from "Curb Dallas Taxi," an app which I never used but that you find advertised in the taxi when you get in. Still scratching my head on that one. There is zero customer support. The number provided on your receipt is the number for booking and it's automated. The email provided for credit card disputes? You can email them, but they won't respond. I have email tracking that shows they opened it. The most that helps me is with the dispute I will make with my credit card company. It's a free-for-all I'm telling you. If you don't care about what you are charged and just need to get somewhere, take Yellow Cab Dallas. If you do care about your money, take an Uber.

You're required to select your terminal then the app will give you a GPS pinpoint of where to wait, though pick up seemed to be all over the place as some cars picked up from the middle island but ours came to the main curb outside of baggage claim. Ride share signage is very poor here, surprisingly. The lady who picked us up didn't help us with our bags at all, though she was nice and got us to our hotel safely. DROP OFF: A friendly guy named Joshua picked up up at our hotel. Unlike many drivers, he got out of his car and assisted us with loading our luggage. He was friendly, conversational and professional the whole way to the airport. When we arrived, he again got out of his car and assisted us with each bag. You can bet I gave him a nice tip! COST: Each run cost us $15 for a four mile trip. OVERALL: So far, so good in the Lone Star State!
