Second being just brain trauma, needless to say short term memory slips. I conveyed to the staff that I see the call one day prior as my life line backup to remind me of the scheduled appointment. 3-4 weeks out from a scheduled date I had it written down 3 separate places I see everyday and an alarm in my cell phone. Next thing you know I get a call stating I missed the appointment. I then again in tears reiterated to the office staff that call truly is crucial for me due to working 3rd shift home healthcare sleeping when I can, all on top of the brain injury. I thought the sincerity in my broken voice as I'm in a panic attack would somewhat show this call is crucial in my life. I rescheduled as they called telling them I had just woken up still 50/50 cognitive, needless to say me being half asleep while making this new appointment I forgot once again with not one call. Couple weeks go by and I receive a letter in the mail stating I'm "dismissed" as a patient after doing everything in my power to bring the attention of my life downfalls post accident. All in all now I'm two brain injuries and the dismissal from Dr. Barr basically blacklisted me from the ENTIRE network of Unity which is what my insurance covers within 15mi. This literally makes me upset to my stomach as I already live daily with the repercussions of skull fractures and trauma now the entire network denies me as a patient becoming more deficient on Thyroid/anxiety/and skin medicine because I did everything in my power to adhere to the rules of what I thought a call is mandatory every other office I've ever been to example my dentist, so my dentist is more professional than my Family Practitioner. This is appalling and quite honestly incredibly immature from my opinion. This is my DR!! The entire network so now have to drive 15+ miles for each check up because they have zero tolerance sympathy for someone with documented disabilities. This post has been the first time I can catch a full stretch breath as my anxiety is at a new level. I'm speechless this is even the case. So when I encountered severe pain in my left upper leg I actually Googled pinched nerve treatment and up popped Advanced Health and Wellness. Luckily they are 5 miles from my home. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. They fixed the pain within a few weeks of the 8 week plan. Recently I had another pain related incident on the right side below my waist. Long story short Dr. Bupp was able to get me in fast and help me. He went the distance and took me in on a day that they weren't open! I still go for adjustments every 2 weeks to maintain my health. The staff there are terrific. I am so glad I found them!

This place is a scam…read more First off, it's like a factory, where everyone lines up to have the exact same adjustments done ( - it's all out in this big open room, so you can see what they're doing.) They sit you in this room and tell you about all the modalities they'll use to help you, and then calmly tell you it'll be some $12,000 and hand you the clipboard to sign, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. If you dare question their quote, or ask any billing questions whatsoever, they will make an example out of you, and give you a hard time, and sigh and shake their head, and make you feel like a 'problem patient,' and have some supposed bigwig from the back come out to talk to you, and other nonsense and idiocy. I had to beg and plead with them to give me some exercises I could do at home to help with the pain - but they weren't even concerned about that - I guess if the pain goes away, I wouldn't come back as much, right? - but they'd grudgingly give me just one new exercise every few times - and only because I pushed them to - they knew which ones I needed and just held them back - they could've helped me months earlier!!! It was also a bit frightening to overhear Dr Bupp on the phone with his wife on a couple of occasions... He was just shockingly immature,... and (as if the exorbitant charges and upselling and one-size-fits-all adjustments, and rude girls running around and Jesus music weren't enough,) I knew for sure then I wouldn't trust him anymore... Please be careful here. They may be able to help, but they will make you pay way beyond what you should have to, and make you wait much longer for pain relief than is necessary. Remember there's a lot you can do with stretching and exercises and posture at home.

I really enjoy coming to this office. The staff are usually super nice and bubbly. This office has multiple doctors. I personally have never been seen by Dr. Ragon, but Dr. Cooke is pretty good. This office focuses on your overall health. They also offer massages. It's a great office to go to. They now have offices in other cities as well.
