First time at Bin 47 was for a family dinner. I was excited to finally give this place try and see what the hype was all about. Bin 47 is an upscale bistro located on the ground floor in the The Somm Hotel & Spa. The space has a trendy winery theme and offers a picturesque view of Woodinville. Seating area is comfortable and the large windows allows natural light. Their menu features Pacific Northwest inspired flavors. Our server recommended we start with their house sourdough bread which was served with whipped butter and quince pear preserves. Definitely delicious and good starter. For my drink, I ordered a vodka martini to start and a glass of the cabernet sauvignon. For main course, I ordered the crispy Spanish octopus. This was served with red pepper romanesco, crispy potatoes, parsley salad, and a lime brulee. The dish was fantastic. The octopus had a nice crisp yet tender. The potatoes were not exactly crispy, rather soft boiled consistency. For dessert, I ordered the roasted brie basque cheesecake with bood orange marmalade and honeycomb cremeux. I cannot recommend this enough. The cheesecake was creamy and not too overly sweet. The orange marmalade added some sweetness and citrus flavor. I did order a glass of Treveri to go with the dessert. Service was ok. Our server was friendly. It was evident that they needed more help as the dining room filled up. Parking was an adventure. There was a long line to the valet and covered parking area. I recommend skipping the line and go for the street parking a block away on 143rd. There is a walkway that cuts through the apartment and ultimately saves time and valet charge. Who was fantastic by the way and had great recommendations) There are two entrances to this place, you can go through the hotel but there is also another on the back end of the restaurant and lounge. They also have discounted validation for parking so just bear that in mind. The restaurant counter is actually just outside the restaurant which was a little confusing but no big deal there, I will say I did not appreciate being talked down to by the person manning that station. I had come early and mentioned I had reservations and stood aside waiting for the restaurant to officially open. Other people were then seated but not us and so I approached the lady (curly hair middle aged, I don't have a name for the individual) and seeing as she was not the same person I spoke to asked if we needed a table, I clarified I did not need a table I had a reservation to which she replied "Yes like I just said, do you need a table." There is always an expectation, to the level of professionalism when it comes to fine dining, this interaction soured my introduction to this restaurant. I'm only glad that both Gen and the phenomenal chefs saved it So lets talk food, now the food is best served together as the sides come separate to the mains and we decided to to more of a family style with the sides so we ordered the Sichuan Brussel Sprouts 5/5 they were beautifully prepared with the perfect amount of spice, we also had the Mountain Mac and Cheese because I am simply a sucker for a good Mac & Cheese if prepared well and this was ok 4/5 would be my rating. I would absolutely be trying the duck fat hash browns the next time I come and I WILL be coming back. For the mains my friends had Wagyu Bavette and the King Salmon and both got rave reviews from them both, I myself got the Grilled Half Chicken 6/5 oh my god this was exceptionally done it comes with charred cabbage and the most amazing Miso horseradish bbq sauce, I wouldn't even call it a bbq sauce it is far too delicious for that. The chicken alone is glorious I would say that it's more of a one person dish than for the table. Since I live near by, I frequently visit local restaurants and am glad to see this one being added to the list. I've been to this place a few times for breakfast and would recommend it. - Book in advances you don't have to wait. It is not because they are always full but you get a priority without waiting. - Expect mix of local moms with kids as well as some hotel guests. - Parking can be challenging unless you are willing to pay or know the area well. They do validate partially if you want to park in the garage. - Breakfast quality is pretty good. Above average. Visiting Seattle for a quick weekend spell & found ourselves at Bin 47. Amazing drinks - we got to try the new mocktails (that also are cocktail versions w/ alcohol, we just don't drink) by head mixologist Lane at the bar. These were super tasty and unique -- the Hawaiian lilikoi & Li hing mui drink was divine (a little salty a little sour and sweet), and a strawberry mint cucumber mojito mocktail! they had seasonal truffle thin crust pizza that was so tasty. Service and vibes were impeccable. Apparently they do wine mixing workshops / tastings as well in another room that looked neat. The staff was super friendly and had good recs all around. First experience at Bin 47 was a brunch with girlfriends. It left me underwhelmed. Service and ambiance were lovely! It's a beautiful place. Their portions were pretty big. Overall food quality was good. But nothing blew me away. The somm breakfast I ordered was huge. The large potatoes were undercooked which was a bummer because they looked delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly but had little pools of butter, which feels unnecessary. Giant bacon pieces were soft, I prefer crispy. So a pretty regular, simple breakfast for $21. Vibes Vibes Vibes. This is one of my new favorite spots in woodinville. Woodinville is known for their wine tasting. Bin 47 is located in the SOMM hotel. It is a perfect spot if you want to have some after work drinks or even go have a staycation with a few girlfriends. We came here for a birthday and right when you walk you are mesmerized by the decorations on the wall, the different parts of the hotel where you can wine taste, and the view from the restaurant is amazing!! Besides the view, the food is delicious I got beef tarter, and the broccoli Caesar. The rest of the table got Mac and cheese, gnocchi, Brussels sprouts, scallops, oysters and chicken. I usually don't remove more stars to a restaurant simply because of their service - but for a group of our size that is paying upwards of $150 to $200 a person an had over 20 people in our party, I would have expected way better service. We had booked this place at least 2-3 weeks in advance. We went on March 21, and asked way in advance for a party of ~ 25 individuals including kids from 5 though 12 years of age. We had originally wanted to do pre-fixe menu and our group had extensive conversations with their catering manager about what that would look like. We were asked to pick 2-3 items from each menu - Snacks, Appetizers, Entrees and desserts. What ultimately happened is that the items we picked were on a "smaller/shorter menu" at the regular price instead of it being pre-fixe. So in short, because our group was large, their version of a pre-fixe menu is whittling down all the choices we would have regularly been able to have off of the main menu, but kept the prices of the items the same. So basically, the restaurant dint want us to order behind a standard 4-5 mains for a group of 20. How is this fair to a customer? WTF?! The surprise aside, our original reservation was 7:00 pm but the food wasn't served to the adults until 9:30 pm. The wait staff was un-informed about our group's needs and not ready to deal with the group our size. The children who were seated at a separate table were served sometime AFTER all the adults received, wayyyyy after 9:30. What's worse--two adults who had requested the cod dish both had their fish served refrigerator cold. While I can say that the other food was delish, I will likely NOT be returning with a party greater than 4 and certainly not for work or business reasons. This place is Unpredictability at its worst. To add final insult to the injury, we were told our parking can be "validated" on our way out. But hold tight - for this business, validation means $5 off of a $20 parking fee in the midst of Bothell!! Not to sound like a spoilt Eastsider--but we live in Downtown Kirkland and frequently go to waterfront restaurants in Bellevue or DT Kirkland and never before have we paid this much for parking. Do your customers a favor - advertise this fee, get your service right, and at least comp the parking fully if a group is spending a few thousand dollars. You may get our business as a first time trial, but now I know that I'll only make that mistake once! read more

The anticipation has been high to try Bin 47 at the new Somm hotel, and let me tell you this absolutely exceeded my expectations! First, the restaurant is located at the back of the hotel. If you park in the valet or current temp parking lot, walk the main hall straight to the back to find it. I enjoy this walk since there are several cute and interesting seating areas and fun art to check out on the way. The restaurant itself is of course posh and new. But the menu is really fantastic. My girlfriend and I both tried a mocktail and they were so flavorful and interesting. We ordered the steak frites and a few veggie sides. The steak was cooked toperfection. And I am very judgmental when it comes to steak frites. The carrots were great, broccoli was smothered in parm. All around great meal, good service, a really enjoyable experience. We've been to Bin 47 a few times now; the first time was for the soft opening. The food has been consistently well prepared and delicious - the entrees are particularly impressive (on the last go, we shared a spectacular tomahawk steak - every slice was med-rare, which an amazing accomplishment for a steak on the bone/of that size -50+ oz.). All that being said: the service on our visits has been really inconsistent; your experience depends a lot on which server you wind up with. Some are far more attentive and detail-oriented than others. On our last visit there were lengthy periods of time between courses, 30-40 minute stretches without contact re: beverages, etc. I hope that they can iron out the kinks with this. Free valet parking at the Somm (the hotel in which Bin 47 is located) makes this a very easy drive from points outside of Woodinville. The facility itself has some quirky, regional decor - it's not your typical Marriott-helmed property. Time will tell how this place fares, but the food is excellent. We were fans of the chef's Queen Anne fine dining restaurant (Eden Hill); hopefully Bin 47 will be a worthy successor. read more

Had no issues with my reservations both times and did not have to wait long to get seated. I've been hearing mix reviews on service and had no issues with ours for both times we got to visit. The food came out fast and there were no delays. For brunch - we ordered the sour dough French toast and the cast iron corn pancake. Both came out hot and fresh, a perfect balance of sweetness. Perfect to share with the table. I ordered the prosciutto eggs Benedict with a side of potato's. The Benedict was good but thought that the prosciutto was too overpowering as it made the dish really salty. The side of potato's came out super crispy, hot and fresh. Bin 47 is the hottest and trendiest new restaurant in Woodinville, located inside the brand new The Somm hotel which is part of the Autograph Collection. The hotel is still in its soft opening phase and has been open for a month or two at most. The entire exterior and interior is wine-themed with wine barrel poles outside the entrance and glass wine bottle decor around the reception desk. It is super modern, clean, and spacious to accommodate for large events like weddings, business meetings, and more. They even have a wine blend room where you can customize and bottle your own wine. My family made dinner reservations to celebrate my mom's birthday this past Sunday at 6:30pm and were very glad we did as most tables were full upon our arrival. Bin 47 (located behind the bar) is a fusion bistro, serving seafood, wagyu steak, chicken cassoulet, duck breast, beet salad, grits, and more. They have fancy whiskey cocktails too and of course, a variety of local wines from Woodinville, Walla Walla, and other Washington wineries. We ordered the... HEARTH MILKBREAD ($14) - this soft and fluffy bread was absolutely FANTASTIC and an excellent start to the dinner show! The rolls were freshly made and served warm right out of the oven. I loved the unique buttery rosemary flavor and the side of caramelized quince pear preserves that added a wonderful sweetness. Not going to lie, my mouth is still watering from just imagining the bread - it's THAT GOOD! THIN CUT FRIES (not on the main menu, but they have them at the bar) - these fries were almost like shoe string fries and were not overly greasy or salty. They came with ketchup and aioli, but the aioli just tasted like plain mayo. They still hit the spot as we were waiting for the entrees to arrive, but the duck fat hashbrown side would probably have been more unique. CHARRED BROCCOLI CAESAR ($17) - in all honesty, this was my least favorite dish we ordered. The broccoli wasn't that charred and it was saltier than I would've preferred as it had parmesan, kelp salt, and sourdough crumb. While it was nice to have some greens, I think I would've just preferred regular charred broccoli. WRIGHT BROTHER'S BEETS ($18) - this is a dish that I'm hoping to recreate for Thanksgiving as I found it super tasty and refreshing. It came with creamy burrata, sweet candied walnuts, golden raisins, umami mustards, and lemon basil. I loved the different textures and flavors of this dish and would definitely get it again. GRILLED TIGER PRAWNS ($24) - the prawns in this dish were the BIGGEST prawns I've ever seen! There were only two, but they were the size of lobster tails. Marinated in brown butter miso, coconut sabayon, and served with salt roasted kolhrabi, and lime kelp crumb, these prawns were amazingly sweet, juicy, and flavorful. Another 10/10 dish. GRILLED SPANISH OCTOPUS ($26) - another impressive dish where the octopus was grilled just right to where it was tender and not chewy at all. It came with romasco cheese, crispy potatoes, parsley salad, and lime brulee. This dish also only came with two pieces, but the pieces were adequately sized and worth savoring. SMOKED CHICKEN CASSOULET ($36) - this dish was the largest of the entrees we ordered and came with foie gras and pork belly andouille, butter beans, tomato confit, and fine herb breadcrumbs. It was served in a hot ceramic bowl and was a nice and hearty dish for a cold fall day. CRYING TIGER HANGER ($38) - this was probably my favorite dish of the entrees we ordered, even though it was probably the smallest. The steak was marinated in a sweet and savory red chili fish caramel sauce and just melted in your mouth. This dish came with eight thinly cut slices of meat; similar to the octopus, every bite was worth savoring. MATCHA TIRAMISU - my mom chose this one out of the dessert options (which also included duck egg creme brûlée, hazelnut chocolate cake, and one other). The tiramisu was beautifully presented with alternating layers of white cake, citrus syrup, and sweet mascarpone, drizzled with a slightly sweet and slightly bitter matcha cream. It was topped with caramelized hazelnut white chocolate and was an overall exceptional dessert and finish to the show. Service was outstanding. Our server, Lucio, was very friendly and attentive throughout. They also comped the matcha tiramisu for my mom's birthday, which was a sweet ending. Thank you, Bin 47, for a wonderful experience. Came on the recommendation of a friend. Entrées ranged between $18 and $30. Located inside the new Marriott property The Somm, there is a high-end Vegas feel about the venue. Hostess at the front seat of us -- but not before we were interrupted by a very high energy waiter who inserted his guest list before us. Then apologized for interrupting our conversation with the hostess. Kelvin was our waiter and very solicitors. Vicki was warm and welcoming and made sure our water was topped off and supported our experience. We ordered the prosciutto eggs Benedict and the fried chicken and waffles being enjoyed by the table next to us persuaded us to try that as well. A bloody Mary was ordered and came wonderfully loaded. And the drink itself was one of the best tasting most balanced Bloody Mary's I've ever had. Refreshing and crisp the way a morning drink should be. I will certainly order that again. They were out of the cinnamon roll which was disappointing but then they were also out of the mushrooms that went into the omelette. So we were unable to order two items. Instead we ordered the pumpkin coffee cake which came out in the shape of a muffin. Verdict is still out on whether or coffee cake should come out in the shape of a muffin. (Why not just call it an $8 muffin?) Customer service was excellent and we're looking forward to coming back and trying lunch as well as dinner when the occasion suits. There was also a private dining room in the back that looked ideal for larger gatherings. And I'm told him this summer sitting out on the balcony is pretty wonderful. They validated parking, we spent an hour and 45 minutes it would've been $20 we paid seven dollars. We both agreed it would've been nice if they validated for two hours. There is some thought of staying longer at the bar in the future but inclined to hesitate because of parking rate. Curious about the rooms here we checked the website and discovered weekday and March would be about $269 before taxes and a weekend day would be about $331. Curious to check out the spa, too. My wife and I only had one item that we didn't absolutely love but yet our server replaced it with one we did love. The service was next level. Our server Jennifer was just as top notch as you can get. Our fav food was The double smash burger, Wagyu tenderloin, side of gnocchi, and our crab cake that replaced the prawns we had tried. Our drinks were also incredible. Old fashioned and a drink called "Night" something lol can't remember. As far as why I say this is the best restaurant in Woodenville is because all things combined, service, food and decor you couldn't get it any better than BIN 47 in the area. Normally, if I walk out of a restaurant having dropped $44 (including tip) on one breakfast, I'm not coming back. On tip of that, it's a restaurant in a Marriott, albeit an autograph collection, but still. Bin 47 is the exception. The hotel and restaurant vibe are warm and welcoming. I don't know the design style, but I'd call it "Pacific Northwest wine country." Kingsley was our server and was excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel like he wanted to hang out with us. Kingsley walked us through the menu. He had us at "people have said this is the best omelette they've ever had." Normally, I don't order omelette because they're not well seasoned and interesting and I can do better at home, but Kingsley had me intrigued. So, we ordered the omelette to split, added crab, a very generous portion for $8, and added a side of smashed Yukon potatoes. My friends, every bite was thoughtfully crafted. The omelette was flavorful, interesting and delicious! The potatoes were crisp on the outside with a crust of sea salt and pepper, perfectly seasoned, warm and pillowy on the inside. Came in here shortly after it opened with some friend's for a birthday dinner. Being Hollywood Hill locals we were excited at the opportunity to try something new. Maybe I'm biased but Woodinville really is the best, and The Somm with this rooftop restaurant are really top notch. We felt like we were in an entirely new location, not just a couple of miles down the road. I had the baked Brie and it was perfect, very tasty and just the right amount for me. My friends had the burger and the flatbread. We all agreed it was a very tasty meal. The cocktails were also delicious - strong but tasty. This is a new restaurant at the new Somm Hotel and it is simply outstanding. Like the hotel, it has a lot of wine-related decorations and we really like the modern interior (that was also very comfortable. We started at the bar. They have a great drink list and obviously terrific wine choices. I had the Sasquatch old fashioned which I loved. It came with Woodinville Rye and also a locally made Port (which is not typical for this drink, but really worked). We had reservations which is a really good idea. Our server Dani was fantastic. We started with the sourdough bread which I highly recommend. They fry the bread a little and the butter was great. They also have a great wine list--we had a Baer blend that was wonderful. For the main course, I had the salmon while my wife had the duck, the we also had gnocchi and sweet potato. My salmon was perfection, with nice crisp skin, flavored perfectly, then nice and moist inside. Then I loved the celery root risotto that came with this--I could have easily had a big bowl of this. Then the duck was excellent also, really nice flavor to this. Portion sizes are not huge, so good idea to get sides. We both loved the gnocchi, about the best I have ever had. It just melted in your mouth and was so delicious. The sweet potato was white on the inside, but very tasty. For dessert, we split the creme brulee. This was very good as well. Overpriced food! We went there to celebrate a birthday, honestly not wowed by the food at all. I am happy to pay top dollar if the food is excellent. We ordered wagyu, it was fibrous, and one of the worst steak I have eaten. The portions are very small. If you don't order dessert, you will not be full. The service is fast, nothing to complain about. It's hard to find the way up, once you park in the garage, there are no signs which floor the restaurant is at. The ambience is just standard, no views etc. we were seated at an inside table. Did the 14-course Chef counter blind tasting at Bin47 at the Somm hotel in Woodinville. Price fixed with wine pairing, mine was non-alcoholic. Very enjoyable! Executive Chef Maximillian, (previously from Eden Hill), gave us a tour of the kitchen. I was impressed by the micro-green hydroponic tower, plus all the setup and organization there, and his own cookbook lending library. Chef Max explained that their fresh produce comes from the farm across from the hotel, and they made their own kimchee, smoked meat, etc. The only downside is there was too much food; we had to box the last couple courses, and reheating the next day did not do them justice. I highly recommend it for special occasions. It's expensive but considering the number of courses including wine pairing, it's reasonable for the quality and quantity, and the service was outstanding. I would rate it 5 stars, after losing half star for too much food, and adding half star back for the kitchen tour. Although maybe for other people the amount is manageable. And they validate the 3 hour parking, as I read that they did not initially. read more

Bin 47 Such high hopes for this new restaurant within the woodinville wine district. Service at the front desk, by those who seated me, and even the busier Jeremey (he deserves a shoutout because he was warm and chatty and delightful) was wonderful. Asked how I was, what brought me in, smiled readily, made me feel welcome and wanted and let me know my server would be with me shortly. The gentleman who showed up 10 minutes later, however, and mind you, he could very well have been having a bad day. However my servers introduction occurred in the same breath as "what do you want?" The complete disdain when I asked if the potatoes could be subbed for something different, wasn't all together surprising. He didn't look like someone used to accommodating off script requests. He explained I was ordering a Mother's Day special (as tho that was a crime in and of itself) but he'd see what chef would allow. What came out was a flavorless lump of left over crab that had been deep fried like it was day old catfish in the south. The side was asparagus, and I was given a generous portion as an up charge for denying potatoes, was so overcooked and drowned in butter it was barely edible without an ambulance on stand by in the fire lane. I probably would have written it all off to a new restaurant working its way out of new kinks and new staff personalities except for the family that sat down next to me shortly after my food arrived. The same server that was ready to hand me the bill before I took a bite patiently answered questions from both the husband and the wife, happily agreed to mix juices to create a concoction to the young child's satisfaction, told the husband enthusiastically that of course they could honor his request for extra mushrooms (must not have been a special). He even smiled. To be fair I watched the other servers work. They were lovely. Warm, engaging, patient and doing their best. But when one puts a restaurant into a $1,000 a night hotel where your culinary competition is the magnificent and renowned Herbfarm across the street, every single staff member matters. And the experience of a mother out on her own on her special day deserves just as much attention and just as high a level of service as the tables for 3 and 4. Because while I may not make you as much in tips today, I have no less than 8 dinners on the books to bring friends to in this area over the next 3 months, and after this experience, I won't be bringing them here. read more

We were staying at the hotel and ended up getting a drink / dessert in the evening and then breakfast the next day. Since this is still fairly new I think they are still working on things but we had a decent experience. The drinks / cake were delicious but spendy, as is any hotel restaurant or anywhere in Woodinville for the most part. The breakfast was just okay, it was a bit cold. Decided to stop at Bin 47 while in woodinville for a ladies brunch. I got the Bloody Mary and my friend the aperol spritz. The salmon Benedict was delish and my friend enjoyed the Somm breakfast. The setting is just beautiful during this soft opening. It was challenging to figure out parking with the construction going on, and the entrance to the restaurant is through the bar with little signage. That said, still gorgeous setting and beautiful finishes! The bloody was a little non traditional, I'll probably choose something else next time but our server Tyler was delightful and I can't wait to go back. read more

I've got mixed feelings about this place. I hear great things about it but I left underwhelmed with my whole experience. The meal was OK. It tasted good but nothing wowed me. Starting with the oysters - they were OK but needed more vinegar and were loaded with shallot. Not well balanced. It came with a pineapple (?) hot sauce but that didn't help. The broccoli ceasar was cold and I wasn't expecting that but I will admit the flavor grew on me. Maybe because of the mountain of Parmesan on top? The octopus was tender but overall just OK. The cod cheeks had no flavor. The saving grace of the meal was the basque cheesecake. It's already one of my fave desserts in general and they did it justice. The creme anglaise was nice and smooth and paired well with it. Pricing was decent considering the portion size. Service was great. Waiter visited often and a plates were cleared often. It's a newer place so I hope they are still working things out. I'll give it some time before I give it another try. read more

I didn't have any premade perception of this place as I had not read any reviews. We frequent this area regularly and were excited to come and check out the new hotel and potential new dining spots. We sat at the bar last weekend for cocktails so we thought we would come back to give the restaurant a try. It's nicely decorated, we had a reservation and were sat quickly. The server was friendly, but wasn't completely knowledgeable about the wine list. But ok, whatever. We ordered the white cheddar churros as an appetizer. I don't think I have ever described a dish in this way in my entire life: but it was a completely POINTLESS dish. If there was white cheddar it was just the micro shaved garnish of cheese on top. It was basically empty tasteless puffs of dough, with maybe an avocado sauce under it, shaved cheese and tasteless micro zest of truffle. It had zero flavor, it was completely unsatisfying and pointless. Like, who created this and presented it to people to taste for the menu, and why did no one tell them this sucks? Anyway, on to the menu. These gargantuan menu books that weigh about 5lbs each that are so huge I jokingly told my husband it was like holding the tablets to the 10 commandments. Even funnier is; it's so huge you expect this extensive menu with tons of options. Nope! The opposite. Rather limited menu, just printed in really big fonts with tons of spacing between items to fill up the 2 pages. We ordered the glazed carrots and short rib lasagna to share as we were told it is family style. It was certainly plenty for 2 people. Carrots were tasty, lasagna was decent, but nothing to rave about. Basque cheesecake was also decent. Maybe 2-3 minutes less cook in the oven so that it is creamier would have made it a solid 8 out of 10 for me. Since I have been to San Sebastián and have had authentic Basque cheesecake, I have a pretty good reference. I also make it at home the real way with real Spanish sheep's milk cheese in it. Anyway, the cheesecake should be the star of the plate. It doesn't need a zabaione sauce, or what I think was maybe diced poached pear, definitely didn't need the undercooked caramel sauce that was still grainy from all the sugar. The only thing that was remotely appropriate with this was what I think might have been quince paste. The Basque people would be shaking their heads in confusion to all the unnecessary accouterments. My husband instantly complained about how uncomfortable his chair was and that he could feel the wooden posts underneath the cushion. I sat on the banquet, which was ok. The wine list, while I get it, it's Washington so featuring local Washington wines is expected, but when you are located inside a hotel called The SOMM, one would think that you would have a quite extensive wine list with wines featured from all over the globe. I mean a sommelier would never limit their palate to just one region, especially a mediocre one to boot. Don't expect to get a great bottle of anything from anywhere else (except some bubbly or a handful of Oregon Pinots). I was actually really disappointed in this. I was excited to see what would be on their wine list, only to be severely disappointed. It was also the first time dining out at a nice restaurant where I opted for just cocktails with dinner instead of ordering a bottle of wine. Overall, the place wasn't bad, but it was definitely somewhat of a let down. I wanted it to be so much better. I might hang out in the bar on occasion. But I'd probably skip Bin47. read more

We went in for Mother's Day. The crab cakes were delicious (flavorful and not dry). We also tried the chocolate and apple tarte. The chocolate was sublime. Light and not sugar laden. Our waiter was kind and attentive. read more

Is a great place in my opinion! Good job on setting the right light ambience, mane place do it wrong in Washington. Makes it feel comfortable and elegant, we got the smash burger and the Broccoli Caesar salad, both great dishes. The fries are tasty but a bit too thin in my opinion, I like thin fries but they went hard on it. Service is great at the bar, nos so fast on the tables... maybe they were short on staff this night. Enjoyed Christmas dinner at Bin 47. Everything was top notch! The mint mocha espresso martini was the perfect after dinner drink! Chicory salad, gnocchi, crab cakes....everything we tried was amazing. Will definitely be back. We were really hesitant to try Bin 47 after a close friend had a terrible experience shortly after they opened. That said, given that the restaurant has now been open for a few months, we assumed they'd had time to work out the kinks. Unfortunately, our New Year's brunch proved otherwise. We had a reservation with another couple. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes before a server even acknowledged our table, and another 15 minutes after ordering before we received drinks. We were told service had been slow, so we placed our food order immediately to get ahead of it. Thirty minutes after finally receiving drinks, our food still hadn't arrived. When we asked for an update, we were told it was "almost ready." Another 30 minutes passed bringing our total time there to an hour and a half with no food served. At that point, we asked for everything to be boxed up and requested to speak with a manager. The manager did remove the cost of our entrées, but we were still charged for drinks even though we never ate and the experience was entirely defined by delays. Frankly, after that level of service failure, comping the full meal would have been the appropriate response. To make matters worse, it took another 15 minutes for the manager to come to our table, and we eventually had to go look for him ourselves. The most serious issue, however, was a major food safety failure. Our daughter has severe peanut and dairy allergies, which were clearly communicated. Despite this, butter was placed on her toast, and she began breaking out. This crossed the line from poor service into a legitimate health and safety hazard. We were incredibly fortunate she didn't ingest more and that we didn't have to use an EpiPen. We were patient and understanding because this is a newer restaurant, but this experience was unacceptable. Our New Year's brunch was completely ruined. We left hungry, frustrated, and genuinely concerned. We are locals and had high hopes for Bin 47. Instead, they've lost six potential repeat customers, and we will be advising friends to avoid it until serious improvements are made. read more

Nice place, great service but the food and the price for wine was too much! Charged us double what you can buy the same wine at the grocery store. 75$ bottle of wine was 160$. We get they need to charge a little more but double?? I ordered the pork chop and hash brown App. The pork chop was thin and dry with a bad sauce on it. The hash brown looked like fried tofu and was one of the worst things. Wife and child's meals were a little better. Including tip total for three people was 450$ In this day and age to return to a restaurant you need to be blown away and we were not. Good luck! read more
