I was so happy we were able to try this place. The establishment was very nice, and it wasn't packed, which made the experience even better. The view is amazing, the customer service was exceptional, and the staff were very attentive and kind. The food was also very good.10/10

We came here hoping to get a steak for lunch but they have a different menu for lunch than they do for dinner- unfortunately! The restaurant is located inside the LA resort - very swanky-looking and modern. Parking is free and ample. As far as food - we ended up getting fish & chips, fish tacos, chicken cobb salad and jalapeño poppers. The food was pretty delicious. The service was ok.

Came here couple of times for drinks and were told we need a reservation to eat, so we came back this time with a reservation to eat. Our waitress was super nice and provided us with great service. Bartenders make great strong drinks and my husband and I were so hungry, we ordered too much food. In my opinion, portion size were huge! We ordered French onion soup and frito misto for our appetizers. For our entrees, we ordered braised short ribs and the hamburger. Flavor of the short ribs are good, but it was too heavy for me. I probably won't order that again. Definitely will come back again to try other dishes.

I ordered the fish and chips with the skinny fries. Food was great and homemade tartar sauce. Kim was my server and she was friendly and my food came out quick. The view from outside table was amazing.

My husband and I love this place. The bartenders make excellent drinks. We came for brunch during our stay at the resort for our anniversary. Food was great! I wish I could have shared a picture of the amazing spicy Bloody Mary I had. If you're looking for a nice place for brunch or just for a cocktail, this spot is beautiful and overlooks the lake. Definitely worth the visit and the stay at the resort

Bar service Derek and Andy are amazing! Deming the manager is a sweetheart and the dinner experience and staff were a delight. Best crafted drink I've ever had. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area?

We came with a group of friends to this popular American restaurant. The restaurant interior is aesthetic and welcoming, and the service was amazing despite us having to wait an hour for dinner. Here's what we ordered Garlic Parmesan fries: they were decent - not enough garlic. Crispy Brussels sprouts: this was the best dish of the night. The Brussels were well cooked, crispy, and also a bit sweet which was perfect! Chios and jalapeño queso: the queso was alright but the jalapeño bomb sauce was surprising very delicious and creamy. The chips were fresh and crispy thankfully. Angel hair pasta: decent dish - too many tomatoes but tasty cheese. Cauliflower steak: very well cooked and seasoned! The potato puree was creamy and the broccolini well complemented it. Bread and butter: complementary bread and butter was the perfect starter. The sour dough bread was soft on the inside and slightly harder on the outside. Butter was a bit too creamy though. Overall, that was a solid location with delicious food.

Love the outside patio ambiance! This is what I call relaxing from the chaos of our everyday lives. Arizonans often escape to San Diego. San Diegans escape to Lake Arrowhead where Bin 189 is located. If you want to enjoy this getaway. Book it today. Don't wait.

Bin 189 has the ambiance and pricing of an upscale restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. The service was very slow--we often had to flag someone down just to get basic things like the check or place an order. There were also mistakes on our bill that needed to be corrected. The food was just okay, especially considering the premium prices. I really wanted to love this place, but it felt a bit disorganized and didn't deliver the elevated experience we were hoping for.

Located in the Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa, Bin 189 offers a culinary experience that captures a cross of ambience, service, and good food. A very extensive wine selection and a full bar, your choice of beverage should be readily available. In town a few days for a retreat, I had an opportunity to try several options on the menu. My favorite was the angel hair pasta with shrimp. Lighter than expected, flavorful and prepared just tight.

This review is for breakfast only. The space is beautiful and well kept. It took a few minutes on a Monday morning to get some attention and seated but once we did get attention the service was on point. Prices are resort level as most breakfasts were $25 & up. Normally I would balk at this but I just didn't care and wanted a convenient breakfast. The OJ tasted fresh squeezed and was a good size glass. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns which came with link sausages. Pancakes or toast and I had the silver dollar pancakes. They give you three but they were almost full size. The portions were huge. My scrambled eggs were among the best I remember having (and I've had a bunch). The sausages were chubby AF and were very high end. Not supermarket sausage. Perfectly seasoned and stacked like little logs on my plate. The bacon was also huge and tasty. These pancakes were absolutely delicious with crispy edges. Absolutely perfect! I might go back to lake arrowhead just to have breakfast there again! Biscuits and gravy which made me think no we're apparently delicious. I went in with low expectations and the prices were high but I would pay 25% more plus for a repeat of that breakfast!

Y'all. The food is all over the place here. Some good dishes, some terrible. Some that could be good if they weren't over ooked.

Will this be open on Thanksgiving?

Yes. You need to call for reservations

Does the Bin 189 restaurant have a vegan menu? Or at least offers some plantbased options that are not side dishes only? As a 4-star hotel, I'd think that the answer is yes. Thanks!

Yes we have vegan options! We just launched an all new menu, my favorite is our amazing Spaghetti Squash Primavera.

We came on a sunday at 11pm, so felt like there were minimal serving staff, so food took longer than expected, but the serving staff was very nice, and attentive. Service, environment, cleanliness, cute holiday decorations, sports on TV, 4.5 out of 5 Food was more of a 3, best thing we got was the Poke nachos, loved the fried wonton chips, nice cuts of tuna, great toppings. regular fries and parmesan fries were good, standard restaurant fries Philly cheese steak was ok, meat was good, bread was too thick and chewie. Burger was ok, average meat and bread. Fish and chips were ok, nice crisp, batter not too dense, needed seasoning, very plain. Chicken wings were ok, little dry, not too much flavor. Cool for groups, lots of alcohol options, good kid options, food was average. I would come back if I was in the area, and had a large group, and wanted alcohol. Dragon egg, neutral.

I really enjoyed the view but unfortunately the service didn't live up to the hype And by the way I still left a 22% tip I'm not that type of patron who won't leave a tip, but I was really disappointed with the service. I like to take my dogs to arrowhead village and bop around from restaurant to restaurant order a beer and a small appetizer and just explore. I really hope they get it together because the competition is very fierce out there.

Stopped in from West LA for a late dinner during this most recent Valentine's Day & President's Day…read morelong weekend and it was honestly better than we were expecting. It's located on the ground floor of an Inn of the same name. It has an old timey, alpine look to it which really adds to the ambiance. They have a full bar, as well as booths, tables, and covered patio seating. It's pretty large inside so can host large groups as well. Our server was very sweet and all of our items arrived quickly. They don't have a very large menu, but it does have a lot of great options on it, especially for over 5000 feet above sea level. I chose one of the specials for the night which was the Black Cod. It was honestly great, cooked perfectly, and a fair portion. I enjoyed every part of it and would recommend. I also started off with the French Onion Soup and that too was great, it was a bit saltier than most versions I have back home, but still I liked it. We also ordered the Cobb Salad which was generous in portions, and we both really liked it. I was not a very big fan of the French Fries, that was the only downside of the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for dinner when visiting Lake Arrowhead, especially for anyone looking for a great place for a date.

I had tried another restaurant in the past, but wanted something different. Also, let's face it, around Lake Arrowhead only, there aren't many restaurants to choose from. The rest is all fast food. I was coming from a couple of hours away and obviously wanted to make sure I had a place to have Thanksgiving dinner. Therefore, as far as rating this restaurant for its regular food, I can't do that because I went for Thanksgiving dinner only. My experience as sadly as it is to say was literally the worst I've ever had, not been mean even if it sounds that way, but it is a true statement and it doesn't make me happy to say it, but reality hurts sometimes. We walked in and I can only say, it wasn't what I would normally agree to go to, not terrible but not impressive either. Casual for sure, boots and a cowboy hat if you have it, will do the trick. We were seated right next to the bar, this is NOT a huge place to begin with, so the noise from the bar was not pleasant to begin with. We sat down and a waiter came over, he was nice at first, the menus were not given out because it was strictly Thanksgiving dinner and the copy paper already waiting for you on the table pretty much told you what you were getting. Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey/ham combo or only turkey with all its trimming that you normally eat on Thanksgiving, which it was easy to order obviously, didn't make the waiter sweat either. We told him combo for both of us. I am not kidding when I tell you that not even 5 minutes later, the dishes came to our table. I was still taking my jacket off. I get it that everything had to be ready to go and prepared to make it fast and all, but that immediately turned me off. The food itself aside from being cold, not one thing on that plate was even warm, the presentation was absolutely awful, I still say and believe that had I gone to Dennys, they probably would have done a much better job and not charge $40 dollars a plate and already added 20% tip to it either. The food literally looked nothing like you would expect from a restaurant like this. It wasn't a dump!!! It wasn't attractive to me, but it was a restaurant, nevertheless. That food was simply disgusting. The plate came filled with everything that looked store bought from their not even market but like a 7/11 in the city. Filled with disgusting and totally salty gravy, not homemade of course, and it was which it wasn't, the chef or cook had a lot of fun with the salt or dropped it in it by mistake, that's how salty it was. The mashed potatoes awful, cold, not soft, have no idea what was in it, came in a made round ball, by the way everything on one plate, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, a tiny bit of greens, wherever those two tiny balls of orange things were, a tiny bit of cranberry in a tiny plastic container, a small piece of bread. All just thrown on this plate that honestly made me sick to even look at it. Been Thanksgiving and all, we waited to eat knowing it was going to be quite a bit of food, so we were hungry. My girlfriend literally couldn't eat it. She had a bit of the turkey while trying to find it underneath all that disgusting gravy and she said that it was the only thing that tasted ok, the ham was just as bad as the rest of the stuff on top of it. She literally had three bites of it, that was it. I had more because I was hungry and there was no other place to go unless we wanted to go to McDonald which after that meal, would have been a much better choice and a lot cheaper. My girlfriend had no dinner basically and I had what I was able to eat, but it was just bad. To top it off, came the pie. Now, my girlfriend loves pumpkin pie, I do as well, she makes the best pie from scratch. Two pumpkin pies came. Again, what on earth were those pies, we still discussing it, how can you go wrong with pumpkin pies, well, this place managed to do so. We even asked them what on earth these pies were and the waiter simply said "it's pumpkin pie", no it's not we clearly said back, but he just kept saying it was and that was it. We both couldn't eat it and left it. No one ever came around through our dinner to ask if everything was ok, no one asked us if we needed more to drink, nothing. $115 dollars. The tip was already included as I mentioned that it clearly said on the menu at the end of it that 20% was going to be included. This dinner was worth and only if you were totally desperate, $10 dollars a plate MAX. The waiter did not deserve his tip as he did nothing for it, the only time we saw him was of course to bring us the check. Worst experience ever, never again at this place, I don't even think I would take a chance on their regular menu after this.

A tasty thick malt sounded amazing, especially if the business is kind of known for it with many options. I had not had a malt in so long. I kept wondering when we could find a window to squeeze this in. We finally walked a mile over from where we stayed (a lot of this was uphill so that was rough for me) and we plopped down, ready for our malts. I ordered a rocky road malt and Steven ordered a chocolate chip malt. The server was surprised at the easy order she received as we did not order any food or anything. Yet, it still took some time. Finally the malts arrived, but unfortunately we were left so disappointed. Malts are supposed to be thicker than shakes, but these drinks were pretty much just melted ice cream. So, we are not sure if the orders were placed as shakes and still much more melted than other shake shops, or what happened. I felt like I was drinking melted ice cream with a spoon. Once I got through my glass, I didn't bother trying to pour more from my metal cup into the regular cup. I just started scooping from the extra stainless steel cup, hoping to save some thicker portions in there. There were a few, but not a lot. Since I was expecting a thick malt or something thicker than liquid ice cream, I devoured it pretty fast and now had a tummy ache. We tried it, but it didn't work out for us.
