My vehicle service check was due and it was easy to make an appointment with Ryan's team. They made sure my car was ready for my road trip next month! It was quick and easy to get my car serviced. They made their recommendations when I should get my tires replaced. They are always so honest which I appreciate since I know nothing about cars. You wont be disappointed! My bmw 08 328i doors were locked and I couldn't get in to the car I talked to other shops they said other things were wrong with it but Ryan at Bimmerspeed said it was door actuator and that made sense so I towed my car there and Peter was there he worked on the car and got the doors open and was able to access the car he found three recalls and only charged me for that work and was honest with me so I took the car to bmw and fixed the recalls for free and the car runs better and is fixed I saved money and a I am was happy thank you Bimmerspeed and this is the shop you want to bring your car read more

I've had the more difficult repairs performed on my BMW by independents in the San Diego area for the last 15 years. Last month I stopped by Bimmerspeed because I had a recurring noise I couldn't quite diagnose. Peter identified the issue within seconds after starting the car so I left it with them to do a thorough inspection. They found a few more items and were able to complete the work COB the following day. I few months prior I had work done on this car by another local indie and they didn't even notice this issue. I wish I had found Peter and Ryan years ago. Their pricing is fair and they use quality parts. I will be going back! read more

Really solid guys that work for your favor. I brought my BMW Wagon in for a pesky code and while ultimately my car has a blocked cylinder - these guys did everything they could to help me out in other ways. They are very knowledgable and were offering me creative solutions for my car. It's always important to find a trusted mechanic that will take the time to really diagnose the car and find out what the issue is. I had been to two mechanics (another BMW shop) and both places couldn't tell me what was wrong with my car. I brought it in and they immediately started working on it and had a call within a few hours of what was truly going on. These guys are thorough and worth every penny and the drive! read more

awesome service and very pleasant atmosphere. The price was much more reasonable than other places and very efficient! I will definitely come back when I face with any other issues! read more

Ryan, Max and John are very knowledgeable and great people to work with. I'm selective as to who I let work on my car and these guys make sure you are happy. Ryan & Max did an M-Performance exhaust install on my car an hour before closing for an extremely competitive price! They know what they're doing and I'll be back for future work. Also, I liked that they submitted all their work to Carfax. read more

My Mercedes was in need of some extra TLC... I am probably not the best car owner... I encapsulate all stereotypes of the little blonde driving the white mercedes... I need someone I can trust! Ryan was soo knowledgeable and fair! It's just like taking your car to the dealership, without the dealership pricetag. Thanks Ryan for making my car run like new! Bimmerspeed is in my SpeedDial! read more

Peter and the team at Bimmerspeed were able to perform an oil change on my car on the same day I requested an appointment. Quick and thorough service where they also performed a check on the rest of my car. Advised the status of my tires and brakes and timing to replace but there was not a push to sell, only honest feedback. I would take my car again when my next service is needed. Thanks! read more

Went in for an oil change and Ryan took care of it in no time. The price is a little cheaper and you don't have to deal with "service advisers" trying to sell you services you don't need. Ill definitely be back for my next oil change or future maintenance needs. Update Took car in again for major problem. Ryan trouble shot it and sent me in the right direction(dealer fixed it for free). Honest mechanic that knows how to do business. read more

Ryan, Peter, and the guys at Bimmerspeed are really, really good guys. I took my 335i convertible in for an oil change a few months ago, and was very satisfied and honestly impressed with their knowledge, service, easy going attitude, and especially their attention to detail. Since having a basic service, I have had my car in for 2 fairly significant maintenance items, and they continue to under-promise, and over-deliver. The most recent event, I was driving to an appointment, when my alternator simply died, and on its way, it took the 3 month old AGM battery with it......dang I it! When I called for a tow, I knew I was taking it to Bimmerspeed. I showed up with my car on a flatbread, and had it unloaded for the shop to take it in. I expected to drop it, and get a call in a day or 2 with a diagnosis. Well, Peter got right into it, testing and investigating, hoping for something simple, but being totally up front and honest, letting me know that I was likely looking at a new alternator, & they aren't cheap for BMWs......As we all know, nothing is cheap on a BMW.....After spending about 20-30 minutes looking at it, we talked about the possibilities as well as another notorious item I should consider dealing with, in that same area, but, he would call me later that day with a complete diagnosis and recommendation. Peter called at the end of the day with the complete diagnosis, and the unfortunate painful reality, but, thanks to his open honesty early on, I was prepared for it. I gave the go ahead, and he said it would be done by the end of the next day. True to their word again, Peter called the next day at 6pm, yes they worked after their posted hours a bit to finish my car, and have it ready for me. They replaced the alternator, as well as hoses, pulleys, and belts associated, which were well coated with oil and likely aged and compromised, from the other issue, the pesky oil filter housing gaskets leaking over time, which they fixed properly as well. They also cleaned the entire area, which again shows attention to detail, and doing things right. I feel confident that my car has been properly maintained, and I highly recommend Bimmerspeed for all of your BMW service and maintenance needs. read more

Ryan was expedient, personable and professional in his services performed. His rates are excellent and he uses the highest quality motor oils. Therefore the oil change performed was better than BMW dealer spec at a fraction of the cost. His experience with BMW maintenance is excellent as he is a factory trained master technician and has the highest business ethics (15 years). I recommend using BimmerSpeed for your BMW service needs. Once again I had an issue solved in minutes. My e60 was shaking/vibrating on idle and felt like it was going to stall at any moment. Took it my the shop and within 10 minutes Bimmerspeed diagnosed the issue as a bad ignition coil. I had another shop tell me it was my Vanos Solenoid Control Valve. Glad that wasn't the case. Bimmerspeed had the part on hand, replaced it and sent me on my way. AWESOMENESS! read more

Came here at the behest of a friend. Took with my '95 M3 for an oil change and to have them replace a power steering hose that was leaking. Turns out I also had an oil leak from the pan, and the transmission mounts were bad and the bolts off the bottom of my engine mounts WERE MISSING! Used to take it to a shop in Laguna Hills, never again. They had seen the car a dozen times and never saw the missing nuts or smashed transmission mounts (it was there at the last oil change, those things don't fail or go missing in a couple months!). Totally worth the drive from Long Beach (Yep, I drove that far. I knowingly drove by lots of other shops to come here and will do so happily every time from here on out!). It's hard to find competent, honest specialists, and if you have a BMW look no further. If there were 6 start I'd use them! read more

If you want quality work done on your BMW, you need to see Ryan. Time and time over he proves to be the most reliable BMW mechanic out there. The prices are extremely reasonable too and he uses no after market parts. Again, I highly recommend! read more

Yes I am here to sing the praises of BimmerSpeed and Ryan and his main tech. I purchased a used e46 and it was placed into their care. They quickly got me "up to speed" with the needed services to recondition my BMW to optimal health. Ryan worked with my budget and the tech iced the cake with fast turnaround, which was much appreciated and pretty much guarantees my return for the next round of routine maintenance/modifications. Oh and the services are warrantied for 2 years. Butter baby. read more

I cannot thank Ryan and his team enough for all of their hard work on my '09 BMW 550i. Like most proud car owners, I am pretty particular about who touches my BMW. Look no further, this is where you want to go for a professional BMW expert! Their shop was referred to me upon moving to San Diego from RRT back on the east coast, and that is really all I needed to hear to know I was in good hands. And once I got to know Ryan and his crew more through their services, they really helped me as a customer understand my needs for now versus later; their team really does a thorough inspection of the overall vehicle. I promise you, you will not regret using this team for any of your BMW wants/needs! Do yourself a favor, quit looking for another team, and go here. read more

Can't believe I'm only now just coming here for the first time. I was told about Ryan by a car mechanic working on my other car. Probably would have saved myself a ton of headache and money if I had been coming here the last few years instead of going to dealers and other mechanics. I plan to be coming here for BMW work from here on. Ryan is straight-forward, honest, and a nice guy. read more

I strongly recommend Bimmerspeed for quality service. You are getting dealership expertise and familiarity with all BMW products combined with reasonable independent shop pricing. I took my 01 Audi TT quattro down to BimmerSpeed for a full turbo back exhaust install. Ryan, the main tech there, was super knowledgeable, honest, and to the point about the cars parts and install. He helped me eliminate a super annoying vibration due to a bent heat shield under my chassis at no extra cost. Improved the quality and sound of my ride exponentially. New 3" stainless looks and sounds amazing with all completely stock mounting locations. BOTTOM LINE: Factory quality knowledge and service. Extremely reasonable price (especially for these euro. cars!!). And great communication (I don't feel just like another # in the system like at the dealership) I'll be back to BimmerSpeed 100% for sure!! read more

Stopped by to see Ryan from a recommendation from his fellow BMW mechanic. Developed an oil leak on my E39. Ryan checked it out, replaced a couple of grommets and advised of other possible causes of the leak. Told me to try the grommeets first and if problem persists then we know what the problem is. Ryan is professional and courteous! Provided me with an estimate for the worst case scenario and a few tips on possible suspension upgrades!!! Had to get a few business cards to pass on to fellow BMW enthsiasts. Ryan's customer service is bar none. It will a pleasure to return to Bimmerspeed! read more

If you are a BMW guy, you know finding the right guy is like searching for sunken treasure. People have heard about, but no one has found one. I found Ryan and his team on Yelp and called based on the reviews. My V12 needed a big repair and I was hoping they could get it right, since the dealer was going to be a fortune. No BS here...these guys are BMW mechanical samurai. They cared for my car like it was there own. Saved me money where they could. The process was smooth and it was clear Ryan new his stuff. Definitely the place to take your car for repairs. Ryan and his team were very knowledgeable and walked me through what was wrong with my car step by step. Went in for some minor repairs. Very nice guys. They are professional and don't try to over charge you. Best bmw service in the area.

I found this place through Google and read the positive reviews. I went to get an oil change with a previously arranged appointment and was in and out of there in about 30 minutes. Ryan (owner) is cool, courteous and straightforward. An oil change is no rocket science but it is hard to find good, expeditious customer service. I will definitely bring my car back for service whenever needed. read more
