Great food

Spectacular event center. We attended a fundraiser event there for our school last night and found it to be amazing on every level. Excellent food, great service, very historical facility with really classy design. This is a great venue for weddings, fundraiser, banquets, and many other things. I highly recommend, the Biltmore ballrooms.

We just celebrated my daughter's wedding reception at the Biltmore Ballrooms. It was a beautiful venue and Michelle S. (our coordinator/contact) was very responsive and professional from the original meeting through the final walkthrough. She explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions. Everything went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this venue. Our experience was wonderful.

Enjoyed a RM Sidecar @ RemyMartin TASTING! This was actually good.

I had the opportunity to attend a Remy Martin Tasting here and I was very pleased with this establishment. By the end of the tasting the tasting presentation ended in the ballroom. Oh my was I wooo. The ballroom ceilings were so beautifully crafted that I wanted to take pictures, I thought I was in an ancient tim eof rome or something. Sadly I could not because, no picture taken was allowed. I would love to visit this place again. THIS IS MY VOTE TO HAVE THE YELP CHRISTMAS PARTY AT...PLEASEEEEE!

Not much to write about the Biltmore as I was there for a retirement party of the chair for our school at GT. Since I'd been before I didn't expect much, HOWEVER, it was and still is an amazing hotel. The wait staff was pleasant and quick to pick up plates. Should I ever need to plan an event, I wouldn't shy away from using the Biltmore. Great team and food.

Stopped by the ballroom for a fashion show. The room is beautiful! The ornate ceilings, the chandeliers, the floors. Gorgeous! Definitely a beautiful venue to consider for any future events. They set up a bar outside the ballroom because of the particular setup which was annoying to go in and out but I imagine for other setups it's inside.

On October 1, 2017 I held my Italian themed wedding reception at the Biltmore Ballrooms. My vision was to transform the room into Italy. Rachel Hendrix worked amazingly with my florist and wedding coordinator to make all my non-traditional room requests happen. When I had my BIG Room REVEAL it literally took my breath away! I know it is a year later, but the memories will last a lifetime! Thank you Rachel and your team for making my night magical!

Gorgeous! Magnificent! Romantic! Splendid! Tasteful! The Biltmore Ballrooms are the perfect place to host any momentous occasion. The Biltmore Hotel is an elite and elegant architecturally interesting building in midtown reminiscent of 1920s high society. It was recently renovated and the beautifully handcrafted ceilings restored (definitely the best part of the rooms). I attended one of my friend's weddings and receptions here last month. It was a beautiful Sunday wedding and gardens were in bloom. The evening started with punch being served in the simple, but elegant entrance hall. The Georgian Ballroom was arranged for the service which then took place. Afterwards the wedding party went to the gardens in the front of the hotel to have pictures taken while the guests enjoyed gourmet Hors d'oeuvres again in the entrance hall while the Georgian Ballroom was transformed into a reception room with round banquet tables and a dance floor. The event went smoothly and the caterers and staff were professional and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress free southern wedding with class and elegance.

I had good time here for Girls Night Out. Can't go wrong with and indoor flea market type of event with free drinks!

On the business end, Natalie was very professional, flexible with the terms when my numbers proved much lower, and patient when I responded a bit slower to their requests. I'm the owner of a small coaching & special events business and perform many different tasks! Natalie was always pleasant in our dealings. With regard to the quality of service at the event itself, my patrons were absolutely amazed with Natalie, Zack and the rest of the team! (And so was I, delightedly so!) The lunch, dessert bar, bubbly bar, visual appearance and available (agreeable) waitstaff... It was not only delicious but the service flowed! I was able to concentrate on the presentation itself! The team made me look like a much larger, classy operation! My patrons were simply ecstatic! And so am I! This just may be an annual event! Thanks so much, Peachtree Club!

So, when I started working for SCAD and learned they were in the process of restoring and preserving the old Mansion Restaurant at Ponce & Piedmont, I was really excited. If you haven't had a chance to see the space since its transformation, please feel free to email me and I'd be happy to set up a free tour. lmoody@scad.edu. Truly the restoration of this historic landmark is a gift to our community. This Queen Anne Victorian house was built in 1883 by the Peters family--one of the founding families of our city. Know Peters street in Castleberry? Yep that's the same folks. They originally owned 400 acres from Briarcliff and Ponce all the way beyond where GA Tech now stands. In fact, the family donated the land that the campus was original built upon. They also donated the land for Morris Brown and the first baseball field for the Atlantans. The home is filled with beautiful detail. This is no cookie cutter McMansion. Every room is filled with unique features. The college will use the space for its Professional Writing program and will bring scholars, authors and journalists to speak and give workshops--many that will be open to the public. Visit the website often to see the free events coming up. In the Spring expect outdoor concerts in the lovely gardens. The home will be available for rentals for corporate meetings and the like.

Once I saw the renovation in progress I decided that I need to know more. It took some time but eventually I decided I had to see the place. I have been doing some Friday outings as mini-tweet-ups and this seemed perfect. The folks at SCAD were very gracious and responsive and I easily set a tour for Fri Dec 11, 2009. The result was an outstanding experience and we were knocked out with the work that's been done. This tour can be seen in video on my site at http://www.pro1pr.com/ivy-hall-atl-mini-tweetup I highly recommend you see for yourself. Contact them and see when the next public event will be held and get going. If you're looking to become a designer then I'd say you are in business!

Virtue Rooftop is a whole mood on a Tuesday. I touched down for the "Jazz on the Rooftop" session,…read moreand the live saxophonist was definitely the highlight--sliding through covers and originals with the kind of ease that makes a date night feel effortless. The spot is huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so you aren't cramped while trying to catch a vibe. The 1000 Masks cocktail was smooth and balanced, avoiding the sugar-trap I expected from the blueberry syrup. We started with the Yuca Parmesan Truffle Fries--solid crunch and the truffle wasn't aggressive--and the Togarashi Tempura Veggies, which were light and crispy. I went with the 5Church Lamb Burger Sliders for the main; the gorgonzola fondue and red onion marmalade combo was a heavy hitter, though the lemon-dressed arugula kept it grounded. The food was a solid, reliable choice--nothing that'll change your life, but definitely tasty enough to keep you satisfied while the music does its thing. If you want a laid-back, intentional atmosphere without the extra noise, this is the move.

Beautiful views, but the service and the food left much to be desired…read more I ordered chicken skewers, 2 mocktails, artichoke dip, and yucca fries. The chicken skewers took forever to come out. You only get two of them, and they are served over a bed of mixed greens. They lacked seasoning and flavor. The artichoke dip was extremely oily and had a very strange texture--it was thick and spreadable. The pita bread tasted old and stale. asked for a fork and the waitress forgot. When she brought my fries, she realized that she never brought the fork, and still didn't bring it. I ordered yucca fries, but she brought regular fries. The mocktails were served in these foggy old cups. Even the customer next to me commented on her own cup and said it looked like someone had drank from it. They add 20% gratuity to ALL bills--I was by myself and it was still added. 5 Church is pretty good, but this place was not at all. I paid 65 dollars for my meal, which was absolutely not worth it, given the quality and service of my experience. Looks good for IG but I won't be coming back to this rooftop.
