I work for a very conservative investment firm in their events department. On arrival the group was not interested in participating and the host asked to cut the game short (before starting) and was not interested in the style of games provided. After relaying the message, Leia from Just Play, adjusted the games and promised to engage the crowd. THAT IS WHAT SHE DID! halfway through the games the host turns to me and gives me a thumbs up after seeing how much the group was enjoying themselves. Leia saved me an unwanted to email to my manager from their host. Leia was professional, accommodating, and entertaining. I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

Alarmingly, we witnessed young children being placed in timeout, a practice not allowed for their age in GA. When we raised concerns, especially after paying $3,000 for that week, the daycare dismissed us claiming they were very clear upfront about setting expectations. (We clearly expected more from them than they did of themselves.). Eventually the daycare stopped answering our questions. Parents, please think carefully before choosing Little Miss Sunshines playhouse.

Parents moved schedules around and now - 1 day before the course was to start, Nathans has canceled the course (due to alleged "low enrollment") and stated new weekend days that would be required. Nathans never asked who was attending and at least 10 families have indicated they had every intention of attending the course. Scheduling, and communication related to that, has been a disaster. There is no way possible that a business professional is running this company.

At the end of the class, she could never pass the test and had to retake. There were not enough driving instructors to ever schedule them in person. Institutions like this are the clear argument for repealing the requirement for driving instruction before obtaining a license. That law breeds scam and fraudulence. Nathans is an outgrowth of that and a foreseeable consequence. Let me save you 32 hours + of your life.

The tentative plan was almost none of what I requested and the pricing was $4000-7000 OVER my max budget. I had been going through major health issues which Tammie was aware of; and that's why I even considered not handling the event myself. Because most of what I requested at our first meeting was absent from the plan and pricing, I asked for a refund of MY $750. This was her RIDICULOUS Response: I'm so sorry we cannot refund your non-refundable deposit as we spent hours putting together your proposal and then hours letting all of our vendors go. How in the world could a company spend hours cancelling vendors that I never even approved. I didn't give her a go ahead for ANYTHING. I cancelled the contract within 48 hours of receiving Tammie's ridiculous proposal. She did offer to provide a STRIPPED DOWN VERSION OF THE EVENT. If I had wanted a STRIPPED DOWN EVENT, I wouldn't have tried to hire a planner.

There is a rear load in door so it was very easy to get our equipment in and out. There were two really nice attendants when I got there who unfortunately I cannot remember their names. But they got us set up and made sure our music and temps were good. James closed us out and was great. My first point of contact on the phone, Daniel was super patient & attentive. He made the booking process a pleasure. What can I say, my client who is an A list celeb was happy so I am happy. Will definitely book here again.
