Half combo half veggie with white sauce

4.3 rating Feeling a need for a good pizza . After searching Yelp I decided on frequent reviewed Billy Q . Decided on a thin crust half veggie with white sauce and half combo. And a Rueben sandwich with fries. This location is easy to find but there is construction going on hiding the front entrance . The pizza was tasty and flavorful with lots of toppings . The Rueben was stuffed and juicy ... a good choice . Nice staff and the food satisfied my craving . No wonder it's so popular with the locals .

My boyfriend and I spent his birthday week in Palm Springs and he saw this place and wanted to go. We both love pizza so it was a win win situation. We got there and it was busy and a cool vibe. There was baseball playing on the tv so we took a seat at a table. All the people working there were very nice and got us our drinks quickly. He ordered a Coke and I ordered a Dr. Pepper. We decided to share the meat madness pizza because they were quite large. It took a while for the pizza to come out but they were cooked to order which is always a good thing. We both really enjoyed the pizza and will definitely be back the next time we're in town. 11/10 for Billy Q's pizza!

Just another great experience. Super extra thin crust pizza, great wings, outstanding salads, and even excellent subs. Great staff, good service and cold beer. Plus, they're Cubs and Bears fans. It doesn't get better.

Half and half specialty pizza Cubano and Scooters

Super unique pizza. They had a variety on the menu that all looked interesting and try worthy. I ended up getting a split pizza with the Scooters and Cubano for my split. The dough was definitely good, but the toppings are what made it great. Decent service, ended up sitting outside and the staff was very nice but the table was a bit dirty (also was outdoors, so I wiped it down). Nothing that deterred me from enjoying the pizza and sunset. Was in the area for work, would come back again if nearby.

    Build Your Own Pizza (Medium)

I work at a popular resort, I'm never going to recommend this place to any of my guests. Called the place around 5pm and the woman on the phone sounded like she was annoyed and didn't want to be there. Whatever, I'll let it slide for now. Came in and everyone was in a rush to leave saying they were closing early (I get it, it's the superbowl but their website should have said something about it, not a mere paper on their door only). Came home with 3 pizzas and the "Build your own" was so stale, and so thin. Nothing like the pictures promoted where it's fluffy and thick. That did it, and it was our first (and last) time coming here. I'll be sure to recommend my resort guests to other better places, even Upper Crust is better. That's saying something.

Wanted some comfort food for a Friday night and BQs did not disappoint. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and a Malibu Chicken sandwich. The chicken sandy was tender, the Hawaiian bun is always a hit. The pizza was absolutely delicious, but a little salty for my taste (reason for the 4 vs 5). Will definitely be back.

It's a small place, but they've got their system down pat! The servers were friendly and the food came quickly. The best part? It was delicious too! I got the Elaina Sliders and they were some of the best I've ever had! My youngest for the spaghetti and meatballs that came with cheesy garlic bread and she was in heaven, and my oldest and their grandpa split the Mikey's Meat Pizza and loved it There is something for everyone here! Stay and eat or take it to go!

I had the Pappardelle con Porcini and my wife had the lasagna. It is not an exaggeration to say it ranked up with the best Italian dishes I have ever had. As I started to take my first bite, Elio popped out and asked me to put my fork down. To visually take in the meal and enjoy the total experience. Oh man, did that endear me to him and his passion. It became the reference point of the table, discussed long after the plates were cleared. I entrusted Carlos (who I adore) with selecting my entrée, a decision made without hesitation. The staff is incredibly educated on each dish, and Carlos makes the most spectacular suggestion: the Beet Ravioli. His guidance always feels intuitive and assured, reflecting a dining room that understands intention as well as appetite. Service at Trattoria Mezzomondo is polished and professional, marked by genuine pride in the establishment. The staff engages effortlessly with both regulars and visitors, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming without sacrificing precision-- they treat you like family and, for me, the feel is mutual. Having watched this restaurant grow, it is remarkable how it has retained its core identity. Its commitment to authenticity--rooted in a reverence for craft and tradition--has sharpened my own expectations of cuisine, making neighboring establishments diminutive by contrast. The Chef demonstrates remarkable command across the menu--combustible genius. From the most restrained preparations to dessert, each plate is thoughtfully executed, with clarity of flavor and disciplined presentation. I travel often, Italy included, and yet Mezzo distinguishes itself not by imitation, but by authorship. This is the type of excellence that precludes replication. Each dish is shaped by the senses, seemingly satisfying a singular culinary vision. It's more than a meal, it's art. Why go here? Because they introduce you to something genuinely special: a new way to experience familiar flavors. Their take on traditional dishes blends the unexpected into a desperately welcomed harmony of ingredients. There is a clear distinction at work here, evident at every level of the dining experience. It would be unsurprising to see Mezzo recognized with a MICHELIN Star distinction soon.

Our server was timely on the drinks and the food, even brought me a glass of Pino on time with my meal. After that, however, she vanished. Fortunately, we were pretty much all set at that point. She took so long to re-appear, however, that I had to approach the hostess station to request the bill. Honestly, it must be something like 5 years since I've had to do that at a restaurant. Even then, it still took her almost 12 minutes to re-appear. Our disappointment had not gone unnoticed - whether because of my request for the bill or because he noticed, a bus boy came to box up some of our food. When our server did finally reappear, she attempted to drop the bill and run, but I inisisted she wait for the card and take it back. She explained that she had been tasked with a table of 19. I am - truly - sympathetic to her plight. Management made a poor choice to book a large table without enough staff and she takes the blame. From the moment that I approached the hostess station until we paid the bill was likely 20 minutes. At no time did the manager appear to explain or apologize. No dessert, no coffee, no offer either. It's not like we were late or took an excessive amount of time. We arrived at 6:20 for a 6:15 reservation. We left at 7:45. We weren't cheap (regular full price entrees, cocktails, wine). We love the food, the atmosphere and the drinks, and we will certainly return. But another experience like that will demote Waldos to the secondary list.

We arrived at 8 AM on Thursday and sat near the front of the restaurant. There were three other tables occupied at the time. I really enjoyed the Bees' Knees latte. My husband enjoyed his latte and my son had iced coffee. Beverages are served in unique and very pretty porcelain teacups. We ordered the Bananas Foster waffle with sausage patties, the half order of prosciutto avocado toast with eggs on the side, and my son had the chilaquiles. This is the kind of place where you can savor an old time atmosphere with many things to see as you enjoy conversation. This is not a fast food restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. The half order of prosciutto avocado toast was really delicious. The bread was lovely and dense and could have been toasted a little bit lighter for ease in cutting through the vegetables. (This was easily the perfect size for a meal, and the whole order is equally beautiful and generous.) My husband is still swooning over his lovely waffle and sausage patties. He gave his dish a solid 4 stars and talked about it all the way home. My son had chosen the red chilaquiles which had just the right spice level.
