Excellent pizza , and the staff were very fast , polite, hard workers in there , good job ! 6 or 8 guys working there , very busy for take out , not a big place , cheers to you guys ! read more

Parking: This location has a shared parking lot with nearby businesses. Parking lot felt safe and plenty of parking. 4 stars. Staff: I ordered takeout, the employee who ran the checkout counter was more interested in the baseball game, than helping customers. Seemed very careless. 1 star. Food: Pizza was good, but not great. Lots of pepperoni. 3 stars. Ambiance: This is a good place to have a meal with friends and family. Casual atmosphere with many TV's. Also they have outdoor seating. Not too loud and easy to hear your parties conversation. 4 stars. Overall: This location has great seating options and TV's to watch the athletic games, but not the best pizza. (4+1+3+4)/4= 3 stars read more

Best vegetable pizza I've ever had!! Bought it home to bake, it smelled so good within minutes in the oven?we couldn't wait!!! Did not disappoint! Delicious pizza. read more

I first reviewed Billy Q's 10 years ago. At that time I lived in Palm Desert. After I moved away I continued to visit once/twice a year and over the last 10 years I can honestly say the quality, the taste, the atmosphere hasn't changed. I went again last night and ate in, awesome. Had fun. Food was great. Superb place. Highly, highly recommended. Just go, relax, and eat!! To Billy and Darnelle - your team continues to excel! Thanks. BTW: I miss the 312 beer read more

Delicious sour dough full veggie pizza we picked up for take out during our first visit. We will definitely return. Eating leftovers tonight which is why we purchased the large size for two people! Thank you for a lovely culinary experience for our Friday night pizza! read more

Excellent food and service and price! Always a treat to come to the desert to treat ourselves to the BEST pizza ever!!!

I tried Billy Q's based upon the yelp reviews, and I was severely disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and overly salty. It tasted more like something you would find at a pizza chain like Domino's than anything come from a pizza restaurant. We also ordered the Greek salad which was a disaster. The lettuce and vegetables were wilted and old, and the whole salad was something that the kitchen threw together at the last moment with leftovers I do not know why this restaurant has good reviews. The food is disappointing and. not worth what I paid. read more

Simple little place in a strip mall. Interesting range of pizzas with unique toppings -- slightly better than the average pie, but quite expensive for the overall quantity and flavor. Service was impersonal and disappointing. read more

I looked up pizza near me and i choose Billy Q's pizza, I told my husband that I seen a picture on yelp of the works pizza and it looked so good, my husband ordered the works pizza small because it was my husband and I, the Pizza came out and I grabbed a pizza and it was delicious all the ingredients worked well together and crust was good too, the guy that worked there was really nice, him and my husband were talking about sports he was a very nice guy, next time we're in town we will go back and try a different kind of pizza from Billy's, great job you must try the works pizza when you go there. read more

The food and service was excellent. The gluten free pizza crust was really good. The only slight downside was that it's a little noisy when they are busy. read more

Read the reviews and expected something very different. I expected like sports bar atmosphere....this place is a carry out pizza joint. Not impressed; I think I need to be more careful about what I read. My fault; guess I will have my birthday dinner tomorrow. Not my favorite pizza either. read more

We decided on this place because our friend's wedding got cancelled at the last minute due to unfortunate weather but we all made it work! We had a party of 8 to enjoy dinner with and it is definitely a tiny hole in the wall! Thankfully the staff were very friendly along with their customers. An elderly couple gave up their huge table to seat us and moved over to a smaller table. Super sweet of them and although it was still a very squishy table to seat all of us, we enjoyed it and had a great time. From the looks of this place, it's definitely been run down, if you look at the security camera up on their ceiling, it's completely covered in funk and basically black from all the dirt. But boy was their food absolutely delicious! I had to ask all 3 servers for a glass of coca-cola unfortunately. They were definitely busy but also some big baseball games were on the tv that might've also caused some distraction. Luckily the last guy remembered my drink very late but all good and they didn't charge us for it. We got a bunch of pizza and cheesy bread to share. The Mac n cheese one was ok, not really my thing but everyone else enjoyed it! I really liked their cheesy bread and basically filled up on that. I didn't get to finish my four cheese ravioli with pesto because of that but it was very good from what we got to try! I would definitely come here more often if I lived close but I highly recommend this place for their delicious and excellent food quality. IG: @ammysalamii read more

Best pizza and coleslaw! Services :) If you want good pizza and service easy parking and other places to eat or workout

Decided to take an overnight Joshua Trip trip and checked out the Living Desert Zoo for NYE. By the time we were done the family was hungry and we came across Billy Q's. Unfortunately we made it too close to closing time. But the the staff member who got to us first said they'll go ahead and work on a takeout order for us, so I really appreciated that since they could have just sent us on our way, which would be understandable. Placed an order for their Mac N Cheese pizza and Thai Chicken, which they got done quick. Service alone was 5 stars, but both pizzas were great as well.....so definitely 5 stars on the food dept too. read more

The food is exceptional. They don't skimp on the quality or the quantity of their ingredients. We had a medium The Works pizza, house salad, a meatball sandwich and fries for the three of us. We ate till we were full and we still had half a meatball sandwich and 4 slices of pizza to take home. The service is very friendly and quick. I would say they have the best pizza in the desert and probably the best meatball sandwiches and fries. This is a must try restaurant. read more

The best bar-b-que chicken pizza I've ever tasted. It was a to go order, but food quality was still excellent and delicious! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will return again and highly recommend to everyone. read more

Stopped by and asked some guys eating outside how is the food!? They said it's really good but small portion size on pizzas. So we gave it a try. I had mushroom personal size pizza. 1. Yes it was absolutely very small portion, it was called a personal size pizza, basically it's the size of 1 good slice. 2. The sauce is delicious, that's what makes this pizza so good! And thin crust, loved that. 3. Mushrooms were the tiniest pieces I've ever seen on a pizza, so don't expect a lot of any toppings. 4. For the price, I expected more...more mushrooms, bigger size pizza. Overall, great tasting, just pricey for what you get. read more

Everything was great but it's just a very very casual restaurant. The waitress and staff were wonderful.

Great pizza! Always just the right amount of toppings, so the flavors meld together. Billy Q's is a "must" every time we're in Palm Desert. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Service was great, they were busy with orders to go and people seated in and outside. They managed it well and were getting good out quickly all while keeping drinks topped off. Dining area was kept clean and cool which was a nice break from the heat. We ordered a Thai, works and cheese pizzas. All of them were very good and the whole family left satisfied and decided to make this place a regular spot. We will be back and really enjoyed ourselves. read more

For anyone looking for great pizza and amazing service, make your way here. Despite everything that closed down so early in Palm Desert, this should be your only choice for pizza and wings. Whether you come for take out or decide to hang and eat here, you won't be disappointed. Staff is super friendly and attentive regardless of how busy it is inside. Will be our go to spot every time we visit. Nice job to the staff there! read more

Great Greek salad. Flavorful dressing. Pizza was excellent. Thin crust. Toppings out to the edge. .

Is this the best pizza I've ever had? Yes. Am I salivating just by looking at these photos again? Also yes. I was looking for a casual option in Palm Desert as we were passing through, and this place popped up as super highly rated. Lemme tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. We sat out on the patio for an early dinner, but inside was packed too. That was our first sign this place is a local fave! We each ordered a pizza - a Greek cauliflower crust, cubano cauliflower crust, and regular jalapeño popper pizza and veggie pizza. And whoa. The cubano was INSANE!! My fav sandwich on the most crispy delicious cauli crust I've ever had?! Baked to perfection. Our awesome server recommended the Greek pizza, which was SO delish - the perfect saltiness from olives and artichokes and feta. Of course I had to try a bite of the other two, and the jalapeño popper pizza is just naughty and all around delicious! Veggie one was stacked and loaded high. I'm sure the sandwiches and pasta are great too, but don't mess around: get the pizza. Get the Cubano pizza, and thank me later read more

We played pickleball at nearby Freedom Park, and we were hungry afterwards. Billy Q's has pizza, salad, tacos & sandwiches, and it was near the airbnb we rented. We ordered a medium build your own pizza w/ three toppings (~$20), and a Greek salad ($14.99). The Greek salad had a ton of toppings, and all the produce was fresh. In addition, the portion was large enough for four. Likewise the pizza had a ton of toppings and was more than enough for two (the other two guys ordered their own pizza). The crust was nice and thin so you did not get full on crust. The four of us both had leftovers. Regarding the ambiance, they have tight indoor seating, and outdoor seating is shared (but sectioned off) w/ other restaurants. It was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was local kind super friendly & efficient. The food came out quickly. BQ's is your go to local pizza place w/ hearty food at fair prices, and fast & friendly service. I'd come back again. read more

Right off the bat the staff was truly personable. Food was fast and hot! A great place for a casual dining experience with friends or family. We started our dinner with the appetizer garlic cheese bread . The portion was decent for the price and the taste had a mild garlic flavor. The sauce was in abundance, so good if large group is huge sauce fans. We also got the Macaroni pizza which was a very interesting concept. Lastly we got the "works" pizza. This ZA is loaded AF!!! Unfortunately the crust to toppings is one sided. If the crust was a bit thicker it would have complimented the toppings nicely. If you get this pie, come HUNGRY! read more

Really good stuff and cold beer. I love the pastrami sandwich and coleslaw. Definitely worth a visit.

The most whatever pizza, most whatever wings, and most whatever fries. Diet Dr Pepper did not taste like it either.

Came here for dinner as a family during a recent trip to Palm Desert and loved it! The reviews are accurate- amazing pizza with a casual, family friendly atmosphere. We had a regular cheese pizza and tried the cauliflower crust on another one and equally loved both! Some of the best cauliflower crust I've ever had. Highly recommend this spot! read more
