My nephew had his bday party there today and the party experience was just awful. The check in experrience was no different than a regular check in so party guest had to wait in the very very long line and miss the beginning of the party. There was a recording over the loud speaker for the guests to go to the party room. There was pizza, pitchers of soda, bottles of water, napkins and the kids gift bags sitting on the counter. There wasn't a party host from Billy Beez to check in on us at all. Even when the time was up, employees didn't say a single word- they just came in and started cleaning up. They took everything but the pizza but again, didn't say a single word. They basically pushed us out. They started decorating for the next party before we even got out. It was very rude and just wasn't friendly at all. It was the worst bday party experience. I should also add that the bottom of the pizza was burnt. DO NOT GO HERE! $20 for a child and $8 for an adult. You must have at least 1 adult to accompany a child. A bit of a rip off IMO considering you are already paying for your child so why don't the parents get in for free? No food or drink is allowed in either but guess what? They have their own overpriced food court in there. Wanna bounce around on the trampoline? It only costs $2.50 for 5 minutes worth of bouncing. RUDEST MANAGEMENT EVER!!! I visited with my 2 kids and my mother with 10-pack, this is already the 2nd 10-pack I purchase there due to limited outdoor activities in winter time. The reception guy told me that I have to pay additional one adult entry fee since with 10-pack I can only bring one adult per visit, for sure I was not happy about this rule and it is actually first time I bring 2 kids in at the same time since my little son was just past 2. Then I saw 65+ is free entry, I told the reception guy that my mother is actually 65+, he asked me to show my mother'ID, unfortunately my mother didn't bring any ID with her today.. after less than 15 seconds conversation with the guy he said: "I am very busy and YOU CAN LEAVE NOW".... OMG.. worst customer experience ever!!! Since my 2 kids were scared and crying I paid the extra entry fee for my 65+ mother.. don't want to make my kids disappoint. I actually asked the guy that I want to talk to his manager, and he said he is the manager, I asked him what is his name and to show me his badge, he refused to do so... crazy... worst experience ever!!! I checked google review, looks like I am not the only one complaining this kind of customer service. Will never load another 10-pack after using up current one. The whole management team needs more education about how to respect people!!! read more

Billy Beez - RUDEST MANAGEMENT EVER！！ - Kids Activities Near Me - Albany, New York

My 6 year old son loves to play here! He burns energy and I love that me and Dad can play with him too. Our local bounce house does not allow parents on the inflatables, which is a real bummer for hands on parents that like to engage and play with their kids. Can't wait for our next visit, as little brother is old enough to romp around in the toddler section. Equipment is clean and maintained. Only con is the constant wrist band scanning when you go in or out and no outside food is allowed. Trampoline cages cost additional money, which is ridiculous when you pay $20 for admission. While it is for the whole day, nothing should be extra except for food and drink. read more

I took 2 10 year olds and an 8 year old there yesterday. They all had a great time. Although it is a bit on the expensive side for children's entertainment, if you know that ahead of time and plan to spend a lot of time there it's truly worth it. It's nice that you can leave and come back for the whole day or take a break at the cafe/snack bar. The climbing things and slides really are big enough for adults and I had fun doing some of them with the kids. It's also good to know ahead of time that the trampoline and games cost extra- but were reasonably priced and provided a nice bonus to the climbing part. Don't be fooled by some of the bad reviews. There is only one negative to this place, and it's that it can seem expensive. I promise you it's worth it if you can spend a lot of time here (and if you aren't tired, come back later in the day). My two year old LOVED the kiddie area, especially the pretend small town. My older nephews (ages 5-10) loved the slides and climbing areas. The adults loved it more than anyone. We have never seen such huge, high, fast slides!! It was so much fun. This place is crazy and I would frequent it often if the prices weren't outrageous. A family of 5 was 67$ and that was last years prices. My 61 year old mother wanted to spend the day with us and had to pay almost 8$ today!!!! I was pissed. She's 61 and retired and will not be climbing in these small crazy spaces. I spoke to management and she was not flexible or helpful whatsoever and quite frankly rude for management. Sorry billy beeze you need to adjust adult and senior pricing because it's a rip off. This is one of the few places that charge adults to go in and sit. Then they won't let you switch with your partner so you don't have to pay for both parents to sit. The kiddos had a blast, lots of climbing and sliding. It's very expensive though twenty bucks a kid and extra if you want to use trampoline and play games. Also, My Husband and I had to pay 6.95 each which wasn't too bad but all we did was sit and look on, I rather had paid with a smile but it's a good business strategy. I would recommend if you go bring enough money because with two adults and two children we paid a grand total 63.48 plus an addition 20 for a couple drinks. My daughter, son in law, 4 year old grandson, 11 year old grandson and 17 year old Disappointed to discover that the cost for all of us to get in would have been $80. Since none of the adults were planning to use any of the equipment, we just sent in my granddaughter visited for the first time today. granddaughter with the little ones (and even that was $40). Don't know what all the bad reviews are about. Came here with my wife, mother and 3 kids. We all had a great time. Place was well kept and clean. Manager Angie was a great help and very friendly. Highly recommended for kids to kill time. Plenty to do. Definitely will be coming back. Also a big plus that they give a discount to seniors, military and police personnel. read more

Terrible over priced place for kids. Refuse to give corporate number. My one year old son broke out with a rash. It's been over a week second time back to pediatrician. The manager was rude himself when I finally got in touch with him. Extremely dismissive and told me he will see what the did wrong on their end. I explained to him how his workers handled a urine incident that happened in the play house area. Running dirty mop and mop water across it. I saw them take from closet up by the bathroom they never changed. Explained for each parent took like 20 minutes you find a worker to purchase a drink. Watched them let their friends and kids come in for free and charge people full price up to 730pm at night. However the policy is she hold each guest the same procedure not pick and choose. Just over all terrible experience for my kids and costing me close to $100. One of there workers literally says to my six year old when we got there. You don't wanna have a party here it costs 500 to 600 and it's not worth it. It's not what you say t o my child. read more

I've been to Billy Been a few times now and the place is certainly s fun place to bring your kids. Theres activities for all ages although not really for crawlers, or kids under 1. The slides are actually pretty steep and fast. This is good for the older kids, maybe 7 and up but for a 3 year ild it's a bit intense and can be dangerous. All in all it's fun for the kids. My issue us more with the service here. During the vacation week when a ton of kids have off from school, I waited in line for over hour and that's because they had 1 person on the register which I find absurd. The snack area is very slow as well, waited way too long for someone to help us which is just bad service. The employees are nice enough and seem to be good with kids so that's a plus. Other than the employees upfront, I've never seen an employee back in the activities so if someone ever got hurt, who knows what kind of response they would have. Like I said, it's fun, but the customer service is lacking. read more

Very disappointed in Billy Beez. Went to the Albany Crossgates site for New Year's eve with my husband and 5 year old granddaughter. I had checked the website several times (and also called) to verify that they were open-- and it stated until 8 pm. So we arrived some minutes before 6 pm...and was told they closed at 7 pm! It was also too late to go in since they stop selling tickets an hour before closing. No apology... was told it was their "holiday hours". WEBSITE and PHONE MESSAGE SHOULD HAVE BEEN UPDATED with the proper closing time. A couple of other thoughts from past visits--- employees who spend more time looking at their phones instead of doing their job, little or no supervision, and much of the equipment (especially in the younger children areas of Honeycomb Village and Mini Beez) is already showing wear or missing and needs to be replaced. Billy Beez is also expensive. There is only one price for each age group--- regardless of how long you can spend. Why is there not a 1 or 2 hour price? I often pick my granddaughter after school and we have 1 to 1.5 hrs max to play...but $20 is too expensive for a short visit. Happy ending to the story... Instead of spending $34 at Billy Beez... we went to Chuckie Cheese in Latham and spent $29 which included 30 games AND food! The staff was helpful, friendly, and good with the kids. read more

After reading some of the other reviews I have to agree with some of the concerns. The place was not very clean. I have been to the Billy Beez in the Palisade Mall in Rockland County many times (that's where I used to live) so I have something to make a comparison to. The staff (what staff?) are are normally seen all bunched together fooling around together. The concession stand is just flat out terrible. One guy was working at the concession stand and I had asked for pizza for my son and his friend. He took my money for the food then went on break (10 mins he said), well more than 45 went by before I finally got the pizza I had paid for. I tried to get the manager to help me but she didn't want anything to do with me or any of the other customers that could not buy any food or drinks. She didn't even try to come over and explain anything to all of us waiting. Poorly run business from top to bottom. I also agree with all that complains about having to leave shoes, phones, coats, etc. in those extremely small cubes. No lockers or nothing monitoring the area where everyone leaves their personal items. I could go on and on about the Billy Beez in Albany but I'm sure nothing will be done to make it a better experience for the parents that take their kids there. This place is ridiculous! I took my three kids here to play and they have the nerve to charge $20 per kid plus myself who was not going to play. $72.00 in total. Unbelievable! This will be the one and only time I come here. Then it's extra for the trampoline! You can't bring in outside food and drink and these prices are also outrageous. Billy Beez is reminiscent to Space Place, Stomping Ground, and DZ for everyone who remembers growing up with those indoor playgrounds. While this would have been a great day, I'd like everyone to know they have a racist associate working there. I arrived to Billy Beez this morning at crossgates mall with my 9 year old daughter. There were approximately 4 women with children in front of us. When I reached the register the associate named Katrina immediately asked me if I was the "legal guardian" of my daughter. When I said yes I am her mother, the associate responded with "you don't look like a mother". When I asked why she did not ask these questions to the previous people in line she stated "we had an incident the other day". When I asked for details of what she meant, she stated "I cannot comment". When I asked if she'd like to see my ID she stated "do you want to speak to a manager"? When I waited for the manager she went up to her other coworkers and pointed at us. When the manager Kim arrived, she was very polite. She stated that "all associates must ask this question". When I stated that the people in front of us were not questioned I also pointed out how Katrina (associate) told me I did not look like a mother. I'm not sure why that even means. Is there some kind of specific logo or face for "Mothers" in America? Katrina was a Caucasian Female; and the women in front of us were also Caucasian. I am Korean American and felt discriminated and humiliated over this situation; while also having to sit my child down to explain how in the world we live in there are ignorant racist people. Perhaps I am young looking but the way the associate approached the situation was degrading. While I did not want to ruin my daughters experience of coming to your business I was highly offended the entire time. Your associate needs cultural diversity training. I personally believe she should be terminated after this incident. The floor manager Kim was gracious and handled the situation professionally. If this truly is a protocol or rule for employees; then EVERYONE should be asked this question. read more

Just returned from Birthday Party I had booked for my 7 year old granddaughter and was never so disappointed. They tell you to be there an hour early for check-in which actually took a few minutes and then you just sit and wait until party room is ready. You are there with bunch of kids who are not going to sit still so you end up spending more money on drinks, snacks and games while you wait. Gimmick or what? You get to enter the party room at exactly the time you booked and you are rushed thru everything. You cannot be in that room 1 minute over the hour. I had to keep saying wait until they're done eating their pizza or wait until they finish their cupcakes, etc. While in the room, helper gave me a game card and told me to ask the manager how much was on the card to play the games. Was told nothing because I didn't buy a high enough package. For 11 kids and 8 adults (no charge), 2 pizzas, 3 pitchers of water, lemonade and fruit punch, 11 cupcakes - I supplied a cake and gift bags for the kids and approximately 1-1/2 hours on the slides and tunnels (no games) it cost me $350.00. I was lead to believe that all games were also included. What a ripoff!!!!!!!! Will never go there again!!!!!! read more

Very disappointed. Not is the price outrageous, but the staff is combative and rude. My sons one older one a toddler were playing in toddler area. Just being kids not hurting anyone. Just throwing balls at each other as they had seen other toddlers and there parents do through out the day. Not harming anyone. One cranky lady complained , a rude staff without seeing anything took her word . The staff Ask my son to leave the area because he was too old to be in there. But said nothing to another older kid in the same area. He was upset that the older kid wasn't also asked to leave and was confused. I approached the staff and said if you are going to make one older kid leave that area you need to make other older kids. She lied to my face combatively 3 times as to why she asked my son to leave. Finally me it was being he was being too rough. He had not hurt anyone and wasn't not be unacceptable at all. But I wasn't upset she asked him to leave , it was her arguing and lying to me about that upset me. I called the manager and he also clearly missed the point as the staff person had. I was never apologized to just treated more rudely by the manager. I decided to post this instead of trying to fight to try to change there policies that staff can't pick and choose who's being good and who's not being ok based on a cranky grandmother that clearly can't handle the energy of little boys. Took my 3 y/o and 11 month-old to check out this brand new indoor kids place today. All the staffs we encountered were very friendly. This place is huge and you could easily lost your kids in sight! It's nice that they take a family picture at the entrance and put on a bracelet for each family member for safety. Now the cons... My 11 month-old who is still breastfed a few times throughout the day, I asked the staff if there's a room for breastfeeding, they told me I can do it in the bathroom or anywhere else as long as I'm comfortable. However, I neither feel comfortable feeding my baby in public nor do I want my baby "eat" in the bathroom... At the end, I fed him baby food instead in the little cafe area, with him sitting on my lap, cuz no high chair could be found. Since this is a brand new place, I hope they could take it into consideration and making it baby friendly as well. Although babies under 1 are free, we adults who come with them still paid $6.95! Another thing is the little pretend play area charged $5 extra in addition to the $18.90 admission ($11.95 for toddler + $6.95 for adult.) Since most of the slides are "too high" and "too scary" for my toddler, she really just wanted to spend most of the time in the pretend play area. Why not make this area inclusive for toddlers?? I cannot justify to pay that extra $5 every time we come here! But overall, my kids had a great time, and we will be back but not anytime soon. read more
