Called for an oil change and repair and they told us no. If we decline a service then that's on us. But to rudely say NO? Tells me firstly, they don't care, and secondly I was willing to pay the price to have it fixed. I guess this is why they only have 3.5 stars. Should be in the area of 1 star. What I should really say is...Thank you for giving me a reason to find someone else. Already on the way to do the repair. read more

I came here to buy a Pallet Jack for our new warehouse. Co-owner Terry (wife of Bill) had listed it on Craig's List. They have a huge space and sell tons of used forklifts. Walked in the spacious and clean front office, Terry was right there, she walked me out to a warehouse that had the new pallet jacks and within a few minutes two nice gentlemen loaded it into my truck. It works great and is saving our backs! This company has been family owned for 25+ years. I like working with local companies and will go back if we get to the point of needing a forklift. read more

The biggest mistake I made was to call them, I was told the forklift has to be towed to the shop to get a better diagnostic, was quoted over $3000 to repair and end up paying thousand to tow back without any repair done. Will never use again! read more

I would give a zero stars after speaking to Terry today. I used to get my forklift repaired by this company. Not after today the lady Terry which maybe 1 of the owners( what a B) was rude by hanging up on a customer because I told her I would like to cancel the service call, which was a curtesy call letting them know I do not need the repairs because I found someone that was available sooner. read more

I am a small business owner that just got my first shop with a warehouse. I needed a forklift and look all over the internet for a decent used forklift. I found nothing but a bunch of used rusty junk. My wife found Bill's Lift and when I called, I just told them I have no clue what I am looking for and they walked me through everything and sent me info on 3 available used forklifts that they already refurbished and ready to go within 2 hours. I went down the next day and purchased one. The forklift was 19 years old and was so well refurbished, it looked like it was 2 years old and ran perfect. They delivered it to my shop for free and showed me how to do everything on the forklift. Even the propane tank was completely full. We purchased a used forklift from Bill's Forklift back in December 2015. Immediately after receiving this forklift, we used it around our warehouse to test it out. The first day, we noticed that the forks were constantly sagging even when an empty pallet was on it. We removed the pallet but they continued to sag about 1/16" every second. Not only was the forklift unable to perform its only job - but the smell the machine left was absolutely putrid. ​At this point, we called Bill's right away to have this serviced. After they brought it back, we were left having to deal with the same problems again. The constant sagging of the forks and the unbearable smell. We sent it back a second time. The company decided to then inform us that because this is a used forklift - the smell is inevitable and there was unfortunately no way around this. At this point, we were willing to live with the smell if it meant having a fully operating forklift without the sagging in the forks. After they returned it back the second time, forks were STILL sagging. It took the company a few weeks to come pick up the forklift again. The third time they brought it back - they had rebuilt the hydraulics which finally helped us to resolve the issue. This was great. We typically use the forklifts 1-2 days a week for 3 hours each time, so we felt that we could live with the smell of the exhaust fumes. In 3 months, we logged a total of 13 hours on this lift and during those 13 hours - the forklift managed to blow a head gasket only 3 months after it was serviced by Bill's. At this point, you can imagine our frustration. After calling Bill's to ask them to repair this issue - they waived us off and told us there's nothing they can do to help moving forward. They also refused to provide us with information we had asked for pertaining to how many hours this forklift had already been running on by the time we were in possession. As a paying customer, I am livid with their poor service and the hoops I've had to jump through to get this issue resolved. It's one thing if the forklift had been running smoothy with no problems and we have put on hundreds of hours on since Dec. 2015. However, this is not the case. Immediately after receiving this forklift, we have had it serviced over 3x within the first few months and have only been able to use it for 13 hours before it fell apart. Now, it's just sitting in our warehouse with a broken engine. To have paid over $7,000 for this machinery to break after minimal use and to have the company refuse to stand by their product to help us with a solution is terrible customer service and I have no interest in continuing to do business with this unscrupulous company. read more

We are a small company and was in need of a sit-down forklift. Our pallets are usually no more than 1,500 lbs. I was fortunate to find this forklift company through Craiglist. The owner Terry has been a pleasure to work with. She has been patient and friendly to show us the 5000 lb capacity forklift we saw in the ad. Then after some education and recommendation on forklifts, she found a smaller and cheaper forklift that better suits our need. She answered all of our questions (including 60-day warranty and recommended maintenance) and did not pressure us to make a quick decision on the purchase. Her price on the pallet jack is also hard to beat, plus free local delivery! All phone calls and email exchanges were answered promptly. All of her staffs are also very professional and friendly as well. Good experience overall! Will most likely be using them for future maintenance / repair for our forklift. read more

We did not have a positive experience. First we were told it would be ready for us in a week - it took them three weeks - which in and of itself isn't a problem but the fact that we would constantly have to call for updates was a problem. When someone can't deliver when they say I would expect them to be proactive in communicating rather than simply letting the delivery dates pass by without contact and wait for you to call them; When it did arrive they delivered it with an empty propane tank that also happened to have a broken shutoff valve; when we called to notify them they delivered a tank the next day - but again no level of service - that is something I would have expected to have been done right the first time; 2 months later we found out it had a cracked steering axel - we spent $600 repairing it; another 2.5 months months later we found out the engine was shot. When we called them to have them come look at it voicing our frustration that we believed we were sold a lemon he said he would send someone out to look at it later that day. One full week later no one had shown up so we had to call AGAIN (shouldn't have been surprised - given how our interaction with them had started back in February) - then with an attitude he told me he would send someone out. That afternoon Bill showed up and his response was two fold - "I checked the paperwork and we didn't give you any type of warranty on this" and secondly "the machine smokes and is leaking all over the place so I can't tell you what is wrong - if you want to fix the leak then I will look at why it is smoking" and then again reiterated there was no warranty and what did I expect when I purchased a used forklift for $6K - I explained I didn't expect to have to spend another $3K to $4K in repairs after 5 months of light use. I bought a forklift from these guys in end December 2016 seem like very nice people forklift they sold me on was only had low hours on it look like it was in great shape ran awesome they they delivered it to me now it's nine months later the forklift has about 150 hours on it and now sounds like the transmission is making noise and the side shift piston is leaking call them for service and they told me they don't service the high desert which my shop is an hour from them they sell me something which they don't service that was the case that I wouldn't have bought a forklift from them I would have bought it from somebody that's Services it should have been forthcoming when they sold it to me I would do your homework before you buy stuff from this company I don't like giving reviews but this one needed be given the lady didn't even try to help me out at all saying there's a place that I can refer you too help me out.
