Andre is polite, friendly and does great work for an inexpensive price. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks again!

On a Saturday in May of this year, Billings, MT received a substantial hail storm that pounded my house and devastated our lush landscaping. The next morning after church, my family and I were in the yard picking up debris, mending damaged foliage, and trying to assess the damage. We were all in funk due to the trauma of having so much damage to our home. Along came Dustin Swaggerty, an employee of yours, who I deemed a 'Storm Chaser' the first time I met him. It didn't take long for me to appreciate this young man and consider trying to steal him away from Aspen for my own business. So here we are on a Sunday in May, and Dustin is up on my roof the day after the storm. He noticed a damaged skylight that would then be a place for water to enter my home and cause further damage should it rain. By mid-afternoon of that very day, my skylight was waterproofed with a tarp thanks to Dustin. It remained so until the new custom skylight could be manufactured and installed roughly two months later. It rained many times during that period, yet it never leaked. Due to the issues with locating my skylight then having it custom built, it took a while for Aspen to actually fix my roof. During this period, Dustin would call, text and email as to the status of the replacement skylight so I never had to ask or wonder about the status of my roof being completed. Dustin also worked directly with my insurance company and brought to their attention numerous items they had missed, as well the need for a more expensive skylight than they had figured. Money was deposited into my account and I received emails from Dustin explaining why even before my insurance company gave me a heads up. Outstanding! Once work began on my home, the crew was in and out in less than two days. On top of that, they were friendly & polite, without a single word of bad language. They cleaned up so well before they left, you wouldn't know they were even there. Your service, workmanship, and employees are exemplary and I wanted to express my gratitude for making a devastating situation so much better. You can't have great employees without great leadership. Kudos to the folks in charge at Aspen Roofing.

Chris Berry was understanding and genuine in wanting to help us with our roof. Their estimate was very reasonable and Ben, the manager, came out and visited with us to let us know all of our options. I'm incredibly happy to say our new roof was installed today! Chris, Ben, another Chris, and the entire Aspen staff took exceptional care of us and were in constant communication with us, and their crew was courteous, efficient, and very thorough in their clean-up, I highly recommend them!

Returned to Billings from out-of-state and bought an old house. Called Archie's Home Improvements…read morefor creaking floors. Made an appointment, and they didn't show. Made a second appointment, they were late but showed. Looked at my floors (1936 house) - did a great job explaining what it would take, and said I'd have 2 estimates - the full job to fix the subfloors, and a second bid to just help with the squeaking. No response. A bit over 2 weeks later, I called and left a message just asking if I would get the bids, or if the "no response," was their way of saying, "We won't do it." That was 2 days ago. No response.

First they just ghosted us for a few weeks after they said they would start the project, gave us no reply and no start date. Then when they gave us a start date they didn't show up to start until weeks after they suggested. Then they went on vacation(?) and contracted out the job to a guy who had no clue. Dude showed up for work at 1, 2 and 3 pm, and kept working until after dark, and even after I said I needed to go to bed. Staying until 11 pm, and working in the dark. When Archies came back they agreed that the project was so messed up it had to be mostly torn down and rebuilt. New wood was needed. They left piles of wood and boxes of tools on the lawn leaving dead grass when they finally finished months later. During the project we asked them to notify us when they were coming, because we have several large territorial dogs that are not always friendly, but at one point they showed up at 4 pm, after they said they would start in the morning and finish the job that day (ha! it went on for another week) one of the builders walked in with a small child, throwing open the gate without looking and luckily my dogs were kenneled. At one point I was walking my dogs out the front to "go" and avoid all the happenings in the back yard, when I opened my front door a workers dog ran up in our face, he almost ran into the house, and would have if I hadn't slammed the door in his face to avoid a fight with my territorial dog. Once the project was done it became clear that the craftsmanship was just not there, cracks in the wood, a splintering banister that hadn't been sanded, wood they reused from the initial mess up cracked and screw holes throughout. They broke a light fixture, but just painted it and put it back up as if it wasn't broken. Left broken hardware in use, even in plain sight. When My husband said he didn't like the idea of using particle board for fascia, and instead would like it to match the rest of the fascia on the house, they persisted that their way was best until he just gave up and decided to fix it himself after they left. They were told there was extra siding, and just to let us know we would get it from the barn when it was needed, but instead they cut and reused damaged siding, so that one long piece was put back up as three pieces(?!?!?), and it was stained with dirt from having sat on the ground under their wood pile. The railing features wood putty that doesn't match the wood and in very visible places. And then there was the litter. So much litter, cigarette butts, screws, small pieces of wood and most aggravating of all zyns, those oral nicotine chew pouches, which can cause dogs to become severely ill or worse all over the yard. I wasn't going to write a review, I know running a small business is hard, but getting a sliver from putting my hand on the banister today just put me over the edge. On the plus side, the workers were all polite.
