Do not use this company. Had an accident & Hazlet police department called him to tow my car. He had the car from 4pm one day until approximately 5pm the next day. He charged $340. The tow was $175, 2 days storage @ $50 each. The rest of $65 was for supposedly administrative charges. I don't understand how people can rip off other people who are in such dire situations & are already upset about the circumstances & take advantage of them. (recommended by the police dept) I am a senior citizen & on a fixed income. This was a horrible experience. The car was driven the next day to an auto body shop. Didn't need the tow at all. If I could rate this man a 0, I would. At the scene where he towed my car, he failed to mention about the $40 extra fee for each "day" my car would be at his yard. The yard was unorganized, looked like a pigpen, and overall just disappointing quality. My car was at his lot for less than 24 hours, maybe 25, and he charged $380 when he originally quoted just $300. I called him the following day to schedule when I would be picking up my car and he was half an hour late, leaving my tired, senior father and I roasting in our car by the shoulder of his junk yard. After he arrived, we disputed and questioned him on why he failed to mention the extra "day" charges, and all he said in his defense was that he was being generous for not charging us extra fees like a "release" fee and that if we didn't like what we were being offered we could just call the police. My father and I had intentions of driving my car out of the lot, we simply just had to adjust the fender that was blocking my wheel from turning and the guy starts kicking us out about how "we can't be doing that here". Bill responded to a call to remove my work van from a drainage ditch. Two wheels were off of the ground, and I was worried that it would roll over, not to mention the possible undercarriage damage, as my van is brand new with only 4k miles on it. My 76 yr old mom was in an accident in Hazlet NJ and the cops told her something was leaking and she needed to get the car towed. This creep charged me $340.00 from it arriving in his yard Thursday and being picked up Friday. He only takes CASH as well. The cops and this guy are in cahoots! this guys was extremely late I called him at 8 and didn't show up until 3 hours later. he wouldn't let me take the Car same day which other companies have let me many times. Bill was an absolute unprofessional, most definitely hungover, and acted like an asshole with my car. Not to mention he was screaming at my friends daughter because she called AAA instead of him. at the scene of the accident my radiator did not pop. but then my car pulls up it's absolutely worse then what it was it pulled up destroyed. While driving my boyfriends sons car down to Maryland, the car broke down on the NJ Turnpike right by exit 7a. I called Bill Wrigjt towing and he came and picked us up and the car as well and drive us from Bordentown to Middletown. Bill was extremely professional and such a huge help. He was also very entertaining and told us some really great stories. AAA wouldn't pick us up because there was more than one person and wanted to leave one of us behind. So my fiance got into an auto accident and the police had the car towed by this guy. Now she has been in jail for awhile and all of my paperwork and the keys to my car are in the car he has on his lot. As a homeless veteran I call him expecting to at least be able to get my car keys and my DD214 out of the car. He demands i give him $250 and the title to my fiance's car which i can't legally do i explain that i am homeless and can't get any help from the V.A. without my DD214 at which point he tells me "At least it isn't cold" read more

The owner is extremely rude and insulting. He gleefully looks to charge for an extra day of storage at outrageous prices by avoiding vehicle retrievals. He's everything that's wrong with that industry, which is a shame. I've worked with a number of other companies that don't go to these lengths to stick it to a customer. Best service in Monmouth County. Owner answered the phone right away and met me on Rt. 35 within 20 minutes. I blew out two tires and needed to be towed. The owner towed me back to my house and gave me a reasonable rate. Picked up my car the next day from the service shop by my house with the tires replaced. Only one guy runs the whole thing, accepts cash only, charges CRAZY money for towing and it's in an oddly inaccessible location past some other shops by the parkway entrance. Worst thing though is the guy's attitude. Called him up at the number on the business card and instead of "Thank you for calling Bill Wright Towing, how may I help you?" I get a surly "yeah?" Charged me like $250 for a 1.5 mile tow for a damaged but driveable vehicle, didn't have proper change. Whatever. Would never give him my business again. read more
