He is much more competent than anyone else I had talked to. They have consistent service for all types of devices as I have taken an array of phones there over the years. They are there for you for any broken tech (within reason of course) that you may have. It's unlucky to have your device break but it it very fortunate that someone like fix my cell is there for you without trying to completely annihilate your wallet like their competition.

I should mention: I tried to make an appointment with a different cell repair service provider the day before, and my appointment was cancelled via email due to lack of technician availability - leaving me frustrated and another day without my phone. After finding One Stop Cellular Repair in Broad Ripple (conveniently just 5 minutes from my house), I decided to stop in this morning. Jordan quickly explained that yes, I broke the LCD screen and there was a very small chance that the phone would be irreparably damaged, and if that was the case, he wouldn't charge me anything for taking a look at my device. THANKFULLY, he was able to set me up with a new screen, even showing me on the old screen exactly where the damage had been done. In just 20 minutes (!!), I was back in business and reconnected with the world for both work and personal use. Pricing is competitive - exactly what I expected to pay, frankly - and Jordan is personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We chatted throughout the repair, and in no time, I had a like-new phone with everything working as it should. He even charged my device a bit for me as it had died in the two days post concrete parking lot drop (now known as "the incident"). They called and left a voicemail letting me know that was not repairable. While being told that news was frustrating, the main issue is what happened next. After returning from a vacation, I went to pick up the device, I was told they had already gotten rid of it - without ever asking for my permission. This was only a couple of weeks after drop-off. The Joy-Cons were still fully functional, and many other components of the device were intact, that could have been salvaged. Regardless of how a repair turns out, this shop has no right to get rid of a customer's belongings without clear consent. I was never asked, never notified, and given no opportunity to retrieve what was still valuable to my wife. I paid for a diagnostic, not for my belongings to be taken and sold for their recycling parts, for the shop's benefit. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who values their electronics being treated with basic respect.

Didn't like being out on the road and having the GPS go out, so my wife recommended trying this little shop located within the Meijer in Camby. When we arrived, we hit the dinger bell to let them know we were at the counter. We were greeted and were told they didn't have my type of battery in stock. We were given an estimated time for when it should be available and the price for parts. They have a standard rate per hour for repairs and were given an estimate for that as well. Unfortunately, the battery didn't ship on time and we were delayed. I also didn't notice they are closed on Sundays, so that visit was a "no go", but I simply didn't see the small sign with their hours on the counter. When the replacement battery came in, we were told they suspected it had a defect because it took a long time to charge. It seemed to work okay, but they were going to get another battery to replace the replacement and there would be not additional charge. Finally, I was able to drop it off when we got the notice the new battery was available. Everything seems to be working okay, though I noticed this new battery still takes a long time to charge. It does seem to hold the charge though, so I am not 100% sold that everything is working perfectly. I got the impression that the individual who worked on my phone understood the problem, but wasn't certain why the charging issue had sprung up. If I have a problem that isn't something I can easily adjust to, then I will take it back for one more try. I think they are trying their best to be helpful, but I seriously don't know how anyone can keep up with all the technological changes and upgrades. They are small staffed, so the turn around on repairs may take longer than you would like, but I prefer it to work the first time, not just get it back and then have problems. Review #3800
