Stopped into this very nice florist \ gift shop for the first time for a floral bouquet on a whim. Very nice staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. I'll assume it was Diane who helped me and (from scratch) built a beautiful bouquet based on some of my wife's favorites. I was the only one there so it took only 10 minutes. Fair price for the arrangement. Store had many other articles and is a decent size. I will definitely go back. read more

To celebrate a milestone birthday of one of our friends, we came here to this establishment located in Hasbrouck Heights for a flower arrangement. Operated for over 52 years and recommended by a friend, I've done business with them in the past and never disappoint. After Bill O'Shea retired, the current owners are John Kosakowski and his wife Lisa have been working for many years. Check out the store decorations and windows at all major holidays. My partner and I were greeted by one of the staff Lisa and mentioned our idea and she began the magical transformation with flowers such as orchids, carnations etc. The end result was spectacular and ah-mazingly beautiful as mentioned by other patrons there. The service is always friendly and the owners will work with you one on one to purchase your items as well as the staff. We highly recommend this establishment. read more

I ordered my girlfriend flowers from Bill O'Shea's Florist. I figured flowers from a local florist would beat anything sent from services like ProFlowers. To our delight, they turned out way better! I placed my order from Southern California via the phone. The lady that helped me walked me though the process step by step from choosing the flowers to entering my heartfelt message [which was a bit awkward]. So thankful to have found this gem on yelp! My coworker was in a bad accident and I wanted to send her flowers asap and thank god I went through this place then some big name corporate place like 1800flowers. Their prices are competitive with other florist shops but I'd rather give them my business directly than go through some third party site! I went with the smallest arrangement for the one that the designer gets to select and it came out gorgeous! It wasn't some yucky leftover old flowers put together but a really one of a kind beautiful arrangment! I'm dazzled by their excellent customer service. I'm in Cali and they kept me up to date with phone calls. My friend wasn't home so the delivery guy called me to ask what I would like him to do. After trying to find a neighbor to hold on to the flowers but unable to, he was nice enough to leave them for my friend at her front porch. He was so concerned that it was warm out and super nice of him to care about the flowers well being lol He went above and beyond by taking multiple photos of the flowers on the porch for me to see! Best florist in the area. The location is perfect, right before the circle if you're coming from Hasbrouck Heights. Plenty of parking in the private lot and there's street parking too. What makes this place great is the selection and the pricing. Because they're such a high volume florist they can give you better deals on arrangements. However, don't expect Newark pricing a la Santos Florist in the Ironbound area. But the prices at O'Shea's are still very good. I've never used their delivery service so I'm not sure if the cost is comparable to other florists. But when I'm in town, this is the only florist I visit in Bergen County. I was looking for individually wrapped flowers to give to mothers today out in Hasbrouck Heights and Bill O'Shea's popped up on my radar. I placed my order over the phone on Saturday and they delivered for $4.95 on a $180 order on Sunday - Mother's Day. For that sized order I was slightly disappointed that delivery wasn't free but it was for one of the busiest flower days of the year and it was a small price to pay to save me a trip to pick them up. From start to finish this was a super convenient experience. I wasn't sure what kind of flowers I wanted and the person who helped me out was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. My order was delivered just as promised, on time and by a polite delivery person. They were very helpful in a pinch. My husband and I went in the day before our wedding looking for peony flowers. My parents had been in there earlier looking as well. Purchased flowers for a funeral, purposefully picked an arrangement with no pink. What i ordered was supposed to be lavander and blue, what came was purple and pink. When i spoke to a man on the phone he argued with me that there was no pink in arrangement. He had me send him pictures of the flowers and never replied. But this has never been an issue with them. They're designers are second to none. Case in point. This morning Easter Sunday I called to see the I could get a certain arrangement and they said no problem. I was there in less than an hour and it was beautiful.
