The short version is that after waiting almost a year for my driveway to be replaced, the company has not responded to any recent communication attempts and now I need to find a new company to get the work done. The longer version is the following: Ken was very friendly and personable when he arrived to provide a quote in May 2021. I returned the signed contract and was told it would be a fall 2021 before the work could be performed. I waited patiently through the summer and fall, only to be told in Nov 2021 that they would not get to my job until 2022. I followed up in early March 2022 to make sure we were still on the schedule for the driveway replacement and expansion and was told we're were on the schedule. I checked back around the 3rd week of April and was told they would be in Holden mid May. I waited until May 24 to see how close they were to getting to doing my driveway and didn't get a response. All communication up to this point had been text messages with Ken. At this point I tried calling, and then email with no response. I tried one last time in June with no response. At this point I would not recommend this company to anyone. I waited patiently for almost a year and 3-4 weeks before the job was supposed to happen they stopped communicating, and have ignored me. read more

We recently had our driveway paved by Bill Keyes Asphalt Paving and had a terrific experience from start to finish. When we decided it was time to pave the driveway, we also wanted to address some long-standing drainage issues at the same time. Ken came highly recommended, so I called and left a message in mid-March. He returned my call within two hours and arranged to stop by that same day. During the visit, we talked through what I was hoping to accomplish, and he provided a written quote before leaving. Within a month, Ken and his crew were at our home and completed the entire project in just two days. The driveway looks great, and the drainage issues were handled as we hoped. What really stood out to me was how easy the entire process was. From the initial call to the completed job, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. In fact, the whole project was completed with just ONE phone call on my end. I never had to follow up or chase anyone down. Highly recommend! read more

I am a seasoned ICU nurse manager with an admitted touch of OCD and very high expectations. My driveway has been deteriorating for a few years and I decided to get some quotes for a complete restoration. This company had the best customer service, the lowest comparable price, and the most flexibility - not only accommodating the times we needed, but also by adjusting the job's measurements/configuration so that my driveway was completely even to all of my stonewalls and gardens yet still within the quoted price. They could have followed the same lines but took the time and effort to improve the look and functionality which made such a difference! They were also punctual, efficient with all of their process steps and machines and extremely polite and neat with the work site when closing for the day/end of job. The owner Ken is fantastic and runs a great crew - he is super friendly, always available for questions, and I highly recommend this company to all. read more

My work with Bill Keyes Asphalt Paving really began because Ken Keyes was recommended to me by a trusted friend. I contacted Kenny and told him what I was looking for, including some special requirements and a tight schedule. He has quietly delivered on every promise, and showed great attention to detail. What resulted is a magnificent replacement driveway for my house AND a custom walkway that I am going to walk daughter No. 2 down in order to marry her off during a backyard wedding ceremony. One of the best days of my life has been made possible by Bill Keyes Asphalt Paving, and for the rest of my life, I am going to blame Kenny Keyes for that ... ;-) All honor to his name! I would highly recommend Bill Keyes Asphalt Paving! I just had my driveway done. The process from beginning to end was very smooth. Bill came out to the house and gave me a quote that same day. Bill gave me a date that he would do the driveway and was actually able to schedule the work before the quoted date. Our driveway had some "issues" with drainage and Bill was very good about assessing the situation and recommending a course of action that would address the issues. Bill was very helpful in answering any and all questions from the beginning through the course of the driveway completion. The team that Bill brought with him were very good and hardworking. Can't say enough good things about Bill! read more

We are thrilled with the new asphalt driveway that Kenny from Bill Keyes Asphalt and Paving installed. The entire process from initial consultation to finished product was seamless. We have a long, sloping driveway so I am sure it was a lot of labor! The asphalt itself is a high-quality mix that looks great. The crew was professional and respectful of our property. Kenny kept us informed every step of the way and completed the job on schedule. We felt the price was very competitive for the quality of work received. I would highly recommend Kenny to anyone needing a new driveway. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in the final product. read more
