They ensure all new riders are shown how to settle onto the bike and are supported. Marlon and Shirley are positive and passionate instructors who truly care about seeing clients succeed in their fitness journey and/or maintain their fitness goals! I also wanted to mention how great the members are. They're welcoming, friendly and willing to help. As a newer Beverly resident I continue to be impressed by the awesome people I meet. If you're curious or a seasoned rider, come take a spin! You won't be disappointed.

Shirley was very accommodating and instantly made us feel welcome, making sure that we were comfortable adjusting our bikes. I loved the variety of speed, resistance, climbs, and time spent in/out of the saddle during our 45-minute class. This is truly an all-levels class with plenty of opportunities to push your respective pace. I loved the team rides interspersed into class. I also really enjoyed using the PolarBeat fitness trackers to see our performance and seeing the stats at the end of class. Shirley's passion for spinning is contagious and I truly enjoyed every minute of her class! She was also nice enough to take the time to share the variety that Blazin' Cycle, mentioning that the set-up of each class can be modified to meet members' fitness goals, such as marathon training. I truly enjoyed my first experience at Blazin' Cycle in Beverly and look forward to coming back for future classes. That definitely includes their first themed ride (Michael Jackson vs. Prince) next Friday!

The new trend in fitness..CYCLE!…read more This is definitely a fun alternative to cardio..running on a treadmill puts too much pressure on the feet and knees overtime. I am not a huge cardio fan..but thanx to Groupon I got this deal for 4 cycle classes for under $40. Overall experience..if you like rhythmic beats while you make the bike your bitc*..this is the place to be. Helpful and enthusiastic instructor make this hour long ride less daunting! The studio is kept clean, well stocked with fruit, orange juice, water! You are able to borrow cycling shoes and also able to pick up a free Cyclebar bottle! We all love free merch! The only downside is that the classes are not available at the most convenient times. After my Groupon expires I will most likely not go back for that reason alone. These classes can be a bit pricey...the money is not the issue, just the availability. There should be a class around 6 or 7PM for the afterwork crowd. They could be making a lot more connections! Anyway, fun class to try to switch up your otherwise boring cardio!

Ava or Evie called so nice said no problems, we move you to 7pm. Please cancel the 5:45pm and we will put you in 7pm. Ok! Awesome I park here, come in at 7pm and she tells me "there is nothing I can do for you, unless you book through classpass." It was 7pm. The class was starting. No longer able to book. I understand not being able to book through classpass, I understand not being able to have that in their system, but the girl said she saved me a chair and she ***did not even offer me a first timer class at their discounted rate!!** I totally would've paid for it. I was already there. Drove 30 min for a saved chair and no workout. Bummer!!

Nonetheless, it is a 45-minute cycling class where you are absolutely going to sweat uncontrollably as you cycle while sitting, standing, and using weights. Don't worry, they provide a towel! Shout out to Coach Isaiah! Isaiah tells you and shows you their love for choreography with their inspiring dance moves on and off the bike. Book Isaiah's classes the Monday before the following weekend to higher the chances of you getting in. A parking garage is connected to the building at 224 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60601. If you bring in your parking ticket they can validate the ticket for $3 for 90-minutes.

I was thinking since I didn't know the situation that it wasn't so bad to have the time to see the place, change, warm up, have someone show me how to adjust the bike, etc. But I guess that is not how it works. The lady told me I could only check in 30 minutes before class and that I could "just walk around until then." I hadn't been walking around because it was cold outside and there is nothing to do to kill 20 minutes in this area. I'm probably too sensitive around feeling like they are being rude due to age bias, but I just couldn't imagine coming back after she told me to just walk around. Embarrassing. Anyway, I guess I learned what I needed to know about whether this could work out as an after work place to get a work out.
