Naperville Pure Barre does it right! If you've never been to a barre class, I recommend checking…read moreout your nearest Pure Barre and if you happen to live even remotely close to Naperville, I recommend you go to this one. I used to go to Pure Barre in Texas, but I ended up taking an almost two year hiatus because my schedule got a little bit to hectic to commit. Now that I have some flexibility, I booked a class at this Pure Barre and headed in. The classes have been exactly what I was used to, but they're also different which is what I love about PB. You know what you're getting into once you've been to one class, but classes are just different enough each time that it never gets boring. So far I've only taken classes with Carly and she's really great! She stays on top of the whole class and ensures that everyone is using proper technique. Don't worry if you've never taken a class before, the instructors won't single you out, they'll come over to you privately and help you to find the right pose/posture. The owner, Kristy, is also a gem. She's super friendly and very welcoming to everyone. The one thing that really sticks out to me about this studio over others that I've been to, is class size. I used to have to workout really early or at lunch to avoid being in a packed to the brim class in Texas (they did end up opening a second location so I'm sure that alleviated some of the congestion), but this Naperville location is perfect. So far I've only gone to the 9:30am classes during the week, but they really aren't packed. I never feel like I'm trying to define my own personal space in this studio. If you want to try a new workout that isn't crazy intense on your body, but will still be challenging and changing... this is the workout for you! It's a great change of pace from yoga with the faster pace of Pilates. And this studio is top notch!

Always welcoming teachers and challenging sessions... would recommend this place to anyon.read more

5 Stars - Tease Dance & Fitness is a Jewel in Aurora/Naperville!…read more If you're in Aurora, IL or Naperville, IL and looking for a place that blends strength, empowerment, and stunning artistry--look no further than Tease Dance & Fitness. I've had the pleasure of working closely with this powerhouse of a studio, and I can confidently say: these are not only fantastic people, but even better performers and teachers. From the second you step into the studio, you feel it--the warmth, the joy, the unapologetic confidence that this community radiates. Tease isn't just a fitness studio, it's a safe haven where LGBTQ+ individuals, people of all body types, and dancers of every skill level are not just welcomed, but celebrated. Their message is clear: Everyone deserves to feel powerful in their body. Their instructors are simply top-tier. Whether it's burlesque, pole, chair, flexibility, or heels--you're learning from seasoned professionals who are at the top of their game. But what truly sets them apart is their ability to uplift others. They don't just teach movement--they help you reclaim your confidence and own your story through dance. Their commitment to community goes beyond the studio walls. You'll often find Tease performers lighting up the stage at The Bit Theater, just a few doors down in the same Aurora complex. The Bit is known for being a diverse, inclusive comedy and performance venue, and the partnership between the two is a beautiful reflection of shared values: accessibility, authenticity, and a fierce celebration of individuality. I've watched Tease's performers bring down the house with jaw-dropping routines that mix precision with pure personality--and I've seen their teachers guide beginners with patience, humor, and genuine care. That kind of balance is rare, and it's why so many people--from across Aurora and Naperville--flock here not just to train, but to belong. If you're searching for a studio that is inclusive, empowering, LGBTQ+ friendly, and deeply rooted in the Naperville/Aurora performing arts scene, Tease Dance & Fitness is it. Whether you're learning to walk in heels or preparing for the stage, this studio meets you where you are--and then helps you soar. Tease is more than a dance and fitness studio--it's a movement, a family, and a fierce force for good. Highly, highly recommended.

Being Jewish, I asked a front desk staff if they could put a Menorah up since they were putting a Christmas tree up. The answer immediately was, "I don't think so". I asked her if she would ask Amy-the owner if this was possible. The next day when I came in for my workout, the same front desk person said she asked Amy and the answer was no-without any explanation. I sent Amy three emails over the next several weeks to discuss and she never returned any of them. I hurt my back last month and have not been able to workout. I sent Amy an email asking her if I can talk to get about crediting me for the month I missed. Guess what, she never returned me email ‍. Also, I have tried to call the studio several times over the last few days and no one answers the phone. Very disappointing because I like all the trainers, the workouts, and the people I work out with.

I really enjoy orange theory, however I had a ridiculous experience with this Naperville location…read more I've been a member at multiple locations at different times for close to 3 years. I always came back because I love the gym and their programs. Here's my full story so that hopefully management flags it and I can get some support because they refused to work with me: Todays January 5th. I joined this year and took advantage of a 3 month promo of returning members $50 for 3 months. I used all 3 months and understood there was a 30 day cancellation policy. I went in specifically more than 30 days in advance to fill out my cancellation form because I joined another program that was more affordable. December 3rd I went in and spoke with a woman who was helpful, and shouldn't be named in this issue, to specifically sign a cancellation form with enough time to respect their policy. She told me that I may as well also fill out a freeze form while I was in there, so that it's covered as well as an option if I changed my mind before cancellation on January 4th. I thought that was fine but was in there communicated obviously that I was cancelling. Why would I come in to freeze it, and also be signing a termination contract? That wouldn't make sense. I called last week twice, only got a voicemail both times, and left messages both times to make sure my cancellation form was processed and that I didn't change my mind. Again, when in there I specifically said I was cancelling and filled out that form, while only filling the extra freeze form so it was available if I changed my mind. This Monday I called for a third time and got a man that seemed somewhat personally upset about me leaving the gym. He said he couldn't find either of my forms and that "he'd just have to take my word for it," but insisted he'd send both forms again electronically and to back date it to when I cancelled in December. He said he'd freeze my account while he discussed this with management so he could find out what to do so I wouldn't be charged January 4th. Obviously implied by the paragraphs above I was charged the full $170 yesterday. Today the 5th I got a call back from Veronica telling me that they would not honor the cancellation form OR freeze form because they were waiting to hear my final "decision" as if I'm still up in the air as a potential client after this length of effort to cancel properly, get told to fill a freeze in case, clarify I'm cancelling, call multiple times to do their job knowing this would happen and leave two voice messages, call again Monday to find out all my stuff was lost and he'd figure it out, then get a call after they got their money saying they'll be honoring neither form. The hell is wrong with this gym and why do I feel like I had to cover myself 5 times over, while doing their job and calling to make sure they did what they said they'd be doing anyway, just to be called a day after they took money anyway? This location scammed me. I have absolutely no idea how anybody cancels a gym membership here. Their final staff members I talked to were extremely firm and dismissive with a black and white "no" you're being charged as if their job was on the line and my payment personally was their money. I asked if there was anybody else I could talk to at all and the woman on the phone said no "she talks to the owner often," and asked if I was allowed to dispute the charge on my end. I'll never join Orange theory again after this handcuffing to swindle less than $200 and staff members acting like they'll live and die by one month of my membership. I was asked to fill out two cancellation forms, the hell.

She has a background in being a life coach so she is attentive to your total wellness, not just physical, which is key for me. I work out with her exclusively via FaceTime and as a busy, working Mom, it couldn't be more perfect. She is on time and friendly, even at 6 am! If you are on the fence about contacting her, do it! You won't regret it. Scheduling times with her is easy and if I ever need to move times around she is very accommodating. Also, from the beginning she was upfront about her fees and wanted to make sure that we stayed within my budget. She never pushed me to do more than I was comfortable with. Kathryn utilized a phone app called Trainerize, which I love. She loads the work outs in the app after we have completed them so I am able to do them on my own on days of the week that I don't work out with her. It is very easy to follow along.
